I know this is against todays flow, but Robin, are the recent quakes in Nevada and Utah anything to be worried about?

my question was...was that ship with 6 miles worth of drilling pipe anywhere near the honshu region on or about march 11th drilling test holes??

It is simply amazing the things we are doing to this planet...

Hey there radpetey! I live in Utah and we do have one of the largest fault lines in the United States here, The Wasatch Fault. We do get earthquakes from time to time, usually smaller in range. However we do have fracking going on in this state. So who knows which one is to blame, mother nature or the damn gas companies.

As for Nevada. There are a lot of quakes in Nevada, which is very normal. I wouldn't worry too much. Not unless some larger ones start popping up.

thankfully they think it will take close to 10 years just to come up with a way to do it. Hopefully by then they will have enough evidence from everything else to see that it's a really bad idea (of course I could be wrong, but it just doesn't sound practical) and maybe they won't do it. Sounds like it's in the hands of the Japanese though.

Hubby has even felt some swaying this morning and I have felt some as well, we did get rain and thunderheads thru in the wee hours of the morning. I can't really see anything on GEE but we did hear a very faint rumble.

I woke up so dizzy this morning that I went back to bed and stayed there until almost 4 this afternoon. Of course I did stay half of the night after burning my entire left forearm with boiling water.. *OUCH* so the dizzyness might have been from being tired. Either way, thought I'd share my symptoms with you anyways.

To anyone in the Arkansas areas that are being affected by the drilling, fracking and earthquakes. If you have any damage, experiences etc...that you would like to share with ABC Nightline News or Josh Fox please send me your contact information in a private email on here and I will give it to them tomorrow. They are in town doing interviews right now.

HadEnough there was others at the meeting tonight that felt the same shake that woke us up the night before last and they don't know what it was either and thought it was an earthquake.

Thanks for letting me know about that. Yay for us not being crazy! Please let us all know how your interview goes! Be sure and let us know when the segment will air too (maybe we'll turn our TV on for once, lol)

I don't know if this has been posted already in this thread or not, but the thread is much too huge now to check through. So anyway, this site has an Arkansas earthquake prediction map that is interesting.

Thats new to our resources Red Cloak. It is very interesting. I pulled up the map for AR. Could you give an interpretation? Are those areas indicating increased likelihood based on color coding? What are the values written in between the lines?

I'm sorry I can't write much at the moment. It's just that I'm very angry and frustrated. My sole ray of light is that Susan may help the media understand the danger. I've already reached my conculsion and I don't like the result.

As for the hazard map just provided by Redcloak- no offence to Redcloak- I find it ridiculous.

The real hazard areas extend from Memphis, down through the newly discovered fault near Marianna, and southwestard toward Guy/Greenbrier.

An easier way to understand the danger Zone. It's anywhere in the Mississippi basin from Illinois southward.
Just like in 1811/1812, the earthquakes start in Arkansas and then travelled northward.

I'm sorry,

I forgot to say it's been quiet in Arkansas over the last day or so. But last night there was a quake about 2.8M. It's not listed yet.

Aren't we possibly back in the pattern again with them slowing down a lot on the weekends?

That map isn't accurate from what has been going on here. When you feel like your seasick from riding a boat all the time and our area isn't even in it. I don't think who ever did that has the whole picture and I think the danger is far greater than that map shows.

If you've read all my words, then you know I've been going round in circles. And my circle always comes back to Enola. Well, guess what. That earthquake last night was in Enola. The quake has been reviewed. There may be a mistake in location. I'm doubting that and the epicenter makes perfect sense if you've been following my thinking.

Susan that quake was directly north of you in Enola. They have an injection well to the west, and there are fracking wells in Enola proper.

I just realized I've been constantly misspelling the word liquefation. My first language isn't english. It's nature. And math and physics. I think in images.
