Robin;
I have been reading this thread for a few weeks now and have been rsearching various information relevant to the discussion. It had to do with the 3.5
Ft Morgan/Mobile AL eathquake on Feb 18 and a possible connection to the New Mardrid fault. I began to wonder if Mobile Bay sat upon a splinter off
the New Mardrid fault. I began researching all sorts of data. I already knew, from this thread, that the Mississippi River would play a big part so I
investigated the rivers and water ways of the states affected per the reputed Naval Flood Zone map.
So using the Naval map as a guideline, I traced the major rivers of the Eastern affected areas:
According to the above map, astronomical amounts of water flood from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes. I tried to ponder what would force that
amount of water to that area. As I researched I found that due North of Mobile & straight up the state 1/2 way is vastly wetlands. Then the TomBiggBee
Waterway begins. As I traced the rivers and the outline of the flood zones on the naval map I started to realize that the flooding isn't just based
upon simple topography & altitude. It also reflects the border area rivers overflowing their banks.
Topographically, the flood region is easy to spot. Look at this map and imagine all of the green areas (even coastal) as under water. However the
flooding in the West follows slightly different rules, which I will get to in a moment. The Eastern Coastline is now at the foot of the Appalachian
Mountains.
Then I ran across this map that gave me chills when added to the naval map:
Look at how many people living in poverty could be washed away. Could it be that Katrina Conspiracy was an exercise? We they testing, plotting, &
gaugeing?
The New Madrid faultline seems to follow the Miss. River so I surmized that should the New Madrid zone experience a 8.0+ quake it would cause huge
amounts of water to rush in from the Gulf. Since Mobile AL is due South of the New Mardrid faultline I also suspected that the Alabama rivers &
wetlands lay atop a splinter off of the New Madrid. Then I found this map which suggests I may be right due to the fact that the spot where the yellow
line crosses is due South of Ft Morgan, AL.
This was all starting to make more sense. The quake at Ft Morgan was New Madrid fault connected I feel sure.
Topographically the Eastern flood zone encompasses all areas under 500 - 1000 ft above Sea level. The Western flood zone is slightly different in that
it shows flooding up to 1700 ft above Sea level. The entry way of the water appears to be the Colorado river. It floods upwards to the Cascade
mountains near Boise ID. From the Sierra Nevadas to the Rocky Mountains. Coastal flooding is held at bay by the Sierra Nevadas and the Cascade
Range.
The Great Basin, with some locations with an elevation of 1700 ft, is completely flooded.
What kind of force would it take to send that amount of water into the great Basin? Southern CA is the obvious point of entry but would a New Madrid
quake cause this?
On my updated naval map I included New Orleans (Mouth of Mississippi), Mobile AL (mouth of Mobile river to TomBigbee & location of 3.8 quake) and the
apprx area of the Deep Horizon well & disaster.
I have read that the floor of the gulf around the disaster area has bulged. Should there be an explosion at that site it would most certainly cause
the flooding indicated but also could trigger the New Mardrid. Would this also explain the great basin flooding? I am unsure and would love to hear
yours & other's thoughts on the matter.
I also am seeing multiple links back to Katrina, Bp Oil Spill, Oil Sickness, etc. Can they be inter-related? Are they all part of some "Master
plan?"
