Ya know - we touched on this last year - had the page set in favorite and it's all coming back to me now -

On the subject of Earth Tides I thought you might be interested in this seismogram showing an Earth Tide trace. I know it is not Yellowstone but this clearly illustrates the forms we have seen on the Yellowstone recorders
.
I find this absolutely fascinating and must look into it some more. It only becomes apparent when you look at long stretches of data which may be why I had not noticed it before.

I found this particular part in the text very interesting:

The curves are a band instead of a line, as the constant rise and fall of Ocean generated microseisms is superimposed on the M shaped line which represents earth tide.

Does this mean that a lot of what we see in the recorders is the ocean??

This page is also useful as it shows how to filter the signals.

Yes, and thank you for locating it. I wanted to include the URL in my post but wasn't using the right keywords obviously in my YouTube search, so I came up empty handed.

I just started a thread about my car being covered in red dirty dust... not just mine, all over the county. I live in Western Ky. They explained on the news that it was probably picked up from a dust storm in Texas and rained down on us in the rain storm Monday... don't laugh, I am serious... could it be linked to the NM Fault? or is the excuse the news gave more plausible. I have lived here all my life and have never seen this before.

I have been trying to go back and read everything, I heard the radio this morning broadcasting from Greenbrier Resturant, I have a feeling this Thread has had a lot of impact on the media in Arkansas. We really do appreicate. There have been only 11 quakes today about half of yesterday and none since about 4:00 pm. It would be great if they stopped all together but the quite times is when I really get worried. When they stop are they just building up more pressure?

Something about your description of the red dust rings a bell with me, but right now I can't remember if it was something I read or heard of. If it rained this red what ever it ,would it not be mud instead of dust - or was the sun out after the rain to dry it. I lived in Texas and the dirt there is brown, mostly light brown that I recall. I am from Central Ky and I don't think it was anything I ever heard of there. Puzzling?

That is a question that like I would to have answered too! I always heard that smaller quakes were relieving pressure, but then I heard a man on Tv say that actually the small ones will lead to bigger ones, as that means pressure is building... I am confused! Which is it?

The dirt up near Longview is red as is the dust out in west Texas, so i could certainly see that as a possibility.

Have to look up dust rain now and see if I can find anything that might tie that in to seismic activity.

I didn't notice it right off this morning. My car was covered with frost. I started it to warm up while I finished getting ready for work... it wasn't until I started down the road and the droplets from the melted frost on my hood started splattering my windsheild with dirty mud puddle looking gunk that I really wondered what the... when I got to work I looked at my car, and my co-workers cars. We all live in different towns in the county and we all had this mess all over our vehicles! I will get a pic of mine in the morning. Luckily the car wash had a line this afternoon and I didn't get my washed.

Hey everyone! Good evening *I hope*, lots of reading to catch up but I did want to share something I discovered tonight which may be interesting for those of us who live in the NMZ...

HOST

A Network Station

As the QuakeFinder Network expands, new sensor locations are constantly required. Companies, colleges, and landowners located in earthquake-prone regions are able to support earthquake forecasting research by allowing QuakeFinder to place a sensor on their property. The requirements are simple and minimal, and the sensors are unobtrusive and pose no liability or risk

QuakeFinder is the world’s leading private research organization focused on creating a system for forecasting major earthquakes. Operating as a humanitarian R&D division of Stellar Solutions and funded by Stellar Solutions, by grants from NASA, subscriptions, and sponsorships from the public, QuakeFinder has developed the science, technology, infrastructure and expertise that are the foundation for a practical earthquake forecasting solution.

Now I do not know if this is exclusively for California or not, but they may be interested in some of the connections made here as it is beginning to look to some of us lay people, fault lines may actually be interacting, those being New Madras and the ones in California such as San Andreas.

Anyway it was a cool site to stumble into so check it out when you get the chance.

That depends a lot on the type of fault you are considering. A lay boundary fault may very well relieve pressure such as the San Andreas. However, with mid continent fault, things are different indeed.

Read this article for more about that.

The Local News have been calling it "Muddy Rain" and I am in Mo. I did talk with cloudsinthesky after the tornado/earthquake night before last, or the next morning and the same thing happened from their location, so this was unexpected and very widespread. Hopefully we will get some samples tested. I did take some scrapings of the 'dust' and placed it in a clean baggie, am waiting to see where to send it.

Sand geysers?

They were reported during the time of the big quakes in the 1800s.

I'm not posting this to scare anybody and not even sure if it's an earthquake related prediction. But for everybody participating and reading this thread, there may be a major event looming in Arkansas on 03/03/11 according to this psychic with who has a pretty good track record the last few years:

spiritmanjoseph.blogspot.com...

21. Arkansas kept coming up as a very significant state. Something huge will happen here, possibly weather related. The number 3 came up as did the month of March. I’m not sure if either of those are connected to the same event or not.

Keep in mind these predictions were posted a few months ago on his website. I find it very interesting that he specifies this date considering that seismic activity has been ramping up in Arkansas the last few months, with a the largest 4.7 mag quake occuring a few days ago. Something to keep a close eye on regardless as March 3rd is only a few days away...

I have never been unconfused, I hope someone answers that before it gets quiet and I start building up pressure..

OH, Daisy, I lived in Lubbock, and the area is all cotton fields and redish dirt, and the dust storms are red dust. Lubbock sits up on a Caprock, and this area is not far from where the caprock starts. Here you were shaking last night. We both need to pray it works better than stressing.

This thread is about FEMA suddenly ordering enough meals for 14 million people:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I think this is in addition to the meals for the test day - but I'm not sure.

Coolottie(sp?) had a thread on this very subject. It was also discovered that FEMA had RFIs in for blankets and hydration supplies for the same area in the same numbers (7million survivors)

The thing is, I can't find either of those now. They were all listed here but are now gone

I m ownthe period has expired on them but they were still searchable recently

Anyone know anything about this?

Also I suggest using sea salt nasal cleanses. This stuff is not natural.
