Geisting Study (Stories and accounts please) Poltergeist events

This is actually quite an interesting case/account and holds some similarities to a historical reference I found in an old spiritualist documentation book. Events linked to water. BTW was the fight over the dishes?

i dont know if this is what your looking for kind of just a personel experiance that i had

Age: 21
Year: 2010
Building Age: Maps date the house back to before the Civil War
Event: went to bed at about 1230- 1 am EST and was woken up at i wanna say between 3 and 330 EST to what i heard was a loud noise and someone walking upstairs i opened my eyes to what looked to me was a white mist that just floated into the wall.
Emotional State: i was a little freaked out by it at first, didnt know believe what i just saw

A little backround story also, my grandmother used to live with us until she passed away in the summer of 2007 since then when im home i have an office set up in her old room, lately i have been feeling as though there is something looking over my shoulder and for some reason the corner of the room nearest the door just gives me the chills whenever i look at it

for both cases wondering what everyones input is anything that could ease my mind alittle bit

Humans do have the ability to manifest shadows and light using pk. I would definitely class this as a geist unless it spoke to you in some way. Often old house carry the RPE or residual psychic energy from long term occupants. I believe spirits can communicate telepathically with their loved ones however a visual manifestation is most often the effect of an occupants pk geist from what I have seen.

no I cant remember what it was about but I know it was something more important otherwise it wouldnt have been so heated
