Geisting Study (Stories and accounts please) Poltergeist events

I am currently doing a study on the catalysts and triggers that lead to geisting events. I am asking for personal stories of geisting events.
Gesiting definition: Gesiting from the word poltergeist is the term used in Psionics communities to describe an uncontrolled Psychokinetic event. Ie unexplained movement of object.
To help better understand this phenomenon I am asking that you share your stories.

Anyone who knows my youtube channel knows me to be a serious PK researcher. If you would like to help with this research project please share your personal story and if possible provide the following details to help in the process of determining trends, factors and catalysts for these events.

Event: put hand up to take key out of locked door. key flew over 12 inches from lock to my hand...as if magnetised

Ive got one major one that happened to me when i was 15.

I was babysitting my sister who was upstairs in bed at the time. I was playing on my Sega mega drive when i decided to change game. My games were kept on a side wall cabinet in the dining room where i had my computer set up. As i reached up to get a game. The pull down door of the wall unit sudenly opened and hit me in the nose making it bleed. Freaked out i ran upstairs and stayed there till my parents got home. The pull down door on the cabinet had pneumatic hinges which prevented it from opening too quick. So whatever force, opened the door in to my face. Over came the mechanism in order to open it so quick. I checked the door after the event and could find no problems with it. It was this event that finaly convinced me that our house was haunted. There were other instances of poltergiest activity but this was the only one directed at someone. Hope this is what your looking for. If you need more info im happy to oblige.

Im 28 now so it would have been around 1998. The house was two terrace flats converted in to a house probably built in the 1950's. The wall unit was bought when we moved in about two years earlier so it was'nt that old.

I was a regular teenager really. I was having some problems with my step dad, as we did'nt really get on with each other. I cant remember feeling really depressed or anything like that.

Age at time of event: 23
Year: 2008
House building age approx: Apartment complex built sometime in the 70's
Event: Strange shadow "things and creatures" (hoping to write thread on it) followed by my cat in dazed state and pictures falling off walls
Object weight shape: 24x36in canvas so roughly 2lbs and a wreath a few ounces
Movement witnessed: series as if domino effect caused by reaction to shadows moving
Emotional state at time leading up to event: just woke up from a nights sleep but alert

Really? See that is why I wanted to write my experience down here, to see if anyone had something similar, as I am a terribly rational person, the events that happened that day and followed up to it still "haunt" me. I've tried rationalizing it and even attempted recreating it. There's more of course which hopefully I'll be able to explain and get into...so I better start posting

This is one of many that happened during a stressful time when I was 27 I was under a lot of stress while building a home a lot of the contractors were dragging their heels. This was leading to time lines being overshot and me having to impose on my Girlfriend for accommodation.

At night we were hearing like a grinding or almost a roaring oscillating sound coming from the ceiling in the unit and vibrating the room. I even went upstairs one night to demand the neighbor show me his room as we could not sleep. He obliged nothing there a simple room no machinery.

As I mentioned this was a unit block so unexplained sounds vibrations are to be expected. My GF was very frightened one night when I came home she had said she saw a shadow shape or person walk into her room. She picked up a knife as she thought it was an intruder. Then her sister got home just as she was about to go investigate. Nothing there..

I would awake at night to a dark shape in the mirror next to the bed. One morning after an especially loud night of knocking and a dream of someone in the room we awoke to black sooty footprints going from our room to the bathroom. I photographed these and the material was black sticky. Our feet had nothing on them.

I followed the footprints to the skylight in the tub. there was no sooty residue however I did not write this off as an access point. Investigated the access to the roof. One would have required a ladder.

I soon moved into my half finished home as did my brother, We had stacks of wood downstairs and one night we awoke to banging sounds like wood being lifted and dropped.

We are both large and went downstairs armed to find nothing as house became finished my stress levels dropped and the events subsided. I learned about Geisting and Tulpas about a year after. I am very interested in the power of the human mind I believe the events were caused by a stressed psyche manifesting. I have done research and found others with similar experiences. I do not believe the events were spirit related however am open to all possibilities with most of the evidence pointing towards Geist manifestations.

My neighbor experienced some geists and came over scared one night but thats another story...

Its interesting you mention stress levels. I at the time was under a lot of emotional distress because of people who were in our lives at the time. I believe that their negativity is (partly) what brought a lot of it on as well...kinda like evil manifesting itself. Because they are related to my husband I have a very hard time asking about them to this day, for fear their negativity will intrude once more in one form or another in our lives.

This actually involves two of my younger brothers. (given fake names, they're minors)
Involved parties: "George" is 11. "Frank", the manifestor of the poltergeist, is 16. Geoffrey is the poltergeist. (A technically inanimate thing, name not withheld.)
Year: Summer 2008 through the present
House age: 20ish year old trailer, started on one lot, trailer moved, continued on second lot

Background:
Frank is a young and developing occultist. He is really good, even considering his noobishness. Frank created Geoffrey on purpose, experimentally, to see if he could find a way to keep George from messing with him constantly and stealing his stuff. It has worked... too well... because now Geoffrey also thwarts George when he tries to steal anything from anybody, anywhere.

Incidents I can remember:
Geoffrey started out shaking wire coathangers in Frank's closet. It started out just when Frank was creating Geoffrey, usually at night. Then the hangers would shake whenever George came into Frank's room. It got more specific after a while, finally resulting in the hangers only shaking whenever George would come into Frank's room with the intention of rummaging through the closet for stuff to steal or to incite trouble with Frank. This was the case for three or four months. Just shaking hangers, sometimes clothes would fall off and drop onto George's head. It frightened him badly, but he was still determined to steal from and torture his older bro. This stage lasted for several months.

It was at the end of 2008 or beginning of 2009 when Geoffrey's activity got more severe. George had gone to steal Frank's collectible lego thingys, and Geoffrey pushed a 31 volume encyclopedia from the closet shelf onto George, and then shoved him out of the room. Frank was at a school function. This was the final time George tried stealing from Frank.

Since then, Geoffrey has had a good track record with pushing objects from a shelf and onto George, at times when George was doing or about to do something awful, not just stealing, and not just involving Frank. Towards the end of summer last year, in August or September, Geoffrey pushed a large and heavy mixing bowl from the top of the refrigerator right onto George's head. I can't remember what George was doing, but it was, as always, nefarious.

Geoffrey has also gone into revenge type activities. After messing with the neighbor kids and causing a scene in the neighborhood, George woke up with a huge gash on his leg. That was in December.

There has been a lot more, I hear about it every time they come over to my house, either from George or Frank or the other one who still lives at home. I just can't remember any specifics about those incidents, so I've spared them.

Emotional states:
At first, it took conscious effort on Frank's part to make Geoffrey act, and whenever he was mad or upset, Geoffrey had a lot more force. After a while, I guess he'd programmed Geoffrey well enough, because he hasn't really had to think about him or feel any specific way for Geoffrey to act like George's probation officer. As I said, one of the incidents happened while Frank was at choir practice or something like that, away from the house and not really stressing on anything. He has only once tried to bring Geoffrey to an end, once trapping him in something I can only really explain as a diadem sigil thing and some ritual that came to him in a dream. It worked, until he released Geoffrey back into the world a few months later. This was in between the mixing bowl drop and the recent spate of activity.

George is mostly just scared pantsless by Geoffrey. That's all I can really say about his emotional state. All of the incidents when Geoffrey has acted have been against George, and again, only when George is up to no good. So I guess whatever emotional state a kid gets into when he's about to do something technically criminal and really doesn't care that it's harmful.

basically was staying at my sisters for a week cause we were in town to bury my grandfather who had recently passed. long story short............

1.her dogs continuesly barked at the closet in the computer room.
2.my youngest nephew said he sees a white man walking in and out the computer room.
3.my grandma had a slip and the ems was there. a very heavy economy sized bottle of detergent was heaved down the stairwell.
4.heres the reported one above..:

was late one night and everyone was asleep. I was on the computer and heard the dog growling. didn't pay much attention to it. anyways I'll admit I was scoping some internetz pron (someone emailed me link to kim kardashian vid) at that particular moment. all the sudden me and the whole chair rose off the ground maybe 3-4 inches then was sat back down. surprisingly I wasn't spooked by this, but a bit ashamed grandpa's ghost saw me looking at porn

Your chair levitated off the floor? This is interesting as I would assume you would still be experiencing some grief and sexual buildup. Pardon my asking I am making an assumption that you are being honest and on that assumption. I don't mean to be crass but was there a release before the levitation event? Or was there a sexual build up the reason being is that in many martial arts sexual energy can be harnessed and stored. Well its not called sexual energy.

But anyways may I also ask do you remember if it had been a while? Ie you had a lot of energy stored? I ask this respectfully in no way meaning to offend however. The trauma at losing a loved one and sexual energy are both precursors to typical poltergeist documented cases.So with all respect any of those questions you could answer would really be helpful.

Apologise in advance if this is a bit vague, I'm writing and remembering so might come up with other stuff later.

My poltergeist(or whatever it was experience) started when I was 15/16 and had been suffering from diagnosed depression for about 6 years. I was having a particualarly dark period and had been tinkering with witchcraft, most stupidly I performed a ritual in which I called guardian spirits, and I think this is when everything started -
not sure of the order of things- I always had very strange dreams in that house (one of them stands out but isn't really relevant here, I will tell it another time) One morning I woke up and heard footsteps across my bedroom floor, when i turned over no one was there..I used to self harm and when I developed a film I found a photo of a knife covered in blood, which I know I didn't take...Other people stayed in the house with me and we frequently heard noises as if someone was coming in the front door but there was no-one there, this was a countryside house so there weren;'t kids playing around or anything. Heard the footsteps in my room from the room below - was with a friend at the time, who said I hope that is your cat, my cat then ran out from behind the sofa i was sitting on looking petrified. Anyway, after maybe 6 months of these little goings on, we moved house and things calmed down somewhat, although people sometimes remarked on a weird rotting leaf smell that came and went. Anyway, I think the whole thing came to a culmination when I was living in a shared flat with a bunch of people about 17 by this point. Posters would fall off the wall, things would disapear and reappear and we put it down to pranks...then one night I had started running a temperature, had an unbearble pain in my head for a few hours and my ear drums burst(blood + pus pouring out of my ears, lovely experience). Anyway, without any prompting, other people mentioned that the atmosphere in the house was different, less creepy, and weird things stopped happening. Someone specifically said that when my ear drums burst whatever had been around had gone, that stuck with me but I actually don't know if the ear thing was related at all.
I don't really know if this is just a bunch of weird things that happened, or the fact that my quite disturbed energy was creating happenings. Interested to hear opinions and will answer any queries!

Event: Well, I was having a huge argument with my mother at her house I cant remember what it was about but it must have been major, my mother still to this day says she has never seen me so mad!

Object weight shape: Anyway I was trying to get my point across by screaming at my mother (I know, I was a nightmare!) and as I was screaming for her to shut up or something, both the taps (we were in the kitchen) came on by themselves full blast, it was quite freaky.


Movement witnessed: Taps both coming on quickly

Emotional state at time leading up to event: very angry

Any other details and of course the story: well none of us were near the taps and we both clearly saw them come on by themselves, even though no one believes us, very frustrating!

You have described self harm which I would definitely link to high emotion. Sickness is often the bodies way of hitting the reset button as you go through a trial you come out of it different. Perhaps the effect of your eardrums bursting was the emotional release you needed no doubt your perspective on life was changed by this uncontrolled reminder of your mortality. Then you say the events stopped? Your account is very much with the trend I have been seeing for geisting events.
