Could the reason be....'TO JUST BE'?

As I said earlier...to be, is to express yourself, your being. Can something that is consistently infinitely being...not express itself? Then through expressing, its constantly renewing.

Or is it becoming that which it decides to become through us, as we are its reflections becoming through the infinite possibilities mentioned in the OP?

And which could very well be as well. Can something that 'infinity is' have a 'need to become'? Is there room for improvement or is there a manifesting that can be more then what it already is? Sighs...down the rabbit hole we go

I think that the design of the universe and our being...can show us or give us an idea of 'what image we are made in'. That the deep understandings will be found, all around us in cycles and orders of 'to and fro'. So I observe us as 'being' and we can not help but to 'express' while being. All through the universe we see 'process of 'renewing' through what seems births and deaths but really it seems like its just energy transforming...emanating (moving from one state into another state). I cant help but to wonder, if there is always a universe to reflect the infinite spirit of life sometimes. As the 'one' is constantly, has been, always will be....BEING...then does the other, just also in return, 'be'...and in this a constant nature of renewing runs infinitely. Look at how many things in the universe 'are' through the need of consumption of energy and then puts put energy. Look at black holes and then think of 'white burst'.

Is conscious beings really more important then a rock or tree in the grander picture of it all? We may not think so until we place ourselves deep out into space where there seems to be little likelihood of conscious life going on and wonder then....what would be the purpose for all of this 'seemingly space' for there to be conscious life just here and there? But yes, I still bounce back and forth between the impersonal connection and the personal connection...between this 'state' and the 'unseen'.

It seems no matter how we look at it, our existence hangs on the cause and effect of nature and that we could destroy ourselves any minute or that the cosmos could put an end to earth at any time and I have to then wonder if so many possibilities exists that could harm us as a species and as a planet....is there really some great 'idea' that is to become of us....or are we more of just an expression and in our 'being' we can discover that there is much more then meets the eye. To say that....no, nothing is going to destroy us, because there is a higher plan for us to 'become' something more....then that means our path as a species and 'being' is already set in stone, and we really dont have any choice in the matter and I have a hard time believing that. I think we do have choices, but we also must adhere to the cycles and orders of the universe, which can aid us or destroy us.

I come from the line of thought that a solar system working in its orders and cycles...without any conscious life...has just as much purpose as a solar system without any conscious life....purpose that is, for the infinite spirit that is consistently being.

So many questions come into the picture....is then the creator conscious of its own self...can it only be aware of itself through us...if its conscious and 'thinks'....then so to does it desire and have will? Or does it work like a seed in the earth, simply following seasons, cycles, and the orders of its nature...without 'thinking', without desires, without having 'will' of a mind, like we have will?

What would something that is infinite and already everything that is...become? And then once it did 'become' what it was on the path to....then would there not be yet another 'something else' to become since we are dealing with infinity? This seems like a suggestion that what we are talking about, is not 'everything' to begin with and then this suggests...if it was not everything....at some point it was 'less then' and at some point it would become 'more then'. So I tend to lean more to the 'renewing' what it already is idea....then becoming something that it is not yet. In one state, its always perfect...but the other state (us, this universe, ect) is a tool for it to stay perfect 'being'.

Wow...what a word play one gets into when going down the dark hole huh?

Please share more thoughts if you get time or wish to...I enjoy the feedback and conversing with others on such.

Excellent description here my friend, I would be hard-pressed to be able to state it in more understandable terms!
If you have never heard of it, what you described right here is the basis of the theory of evolutionary cosmology.

According to this theory, the universe we live in has "evolved" from untold billions of generations of universes. These universes "procreate" via black-holes, which wormhole physics says create quantum-sized bubbles of space-time in other dimensions. When space-time goes through these wormholes, it has probabilities of being modified at a fundamental level (i.e. the basic physical structure of that space-time can be warped). This space-time warping could, theoretically, lead to an infinite number of universes of infinite complexity and variety and of infinite size, such as ours. Our Universe is a very well refined one, as it's space-time characteristics (atom structure, energy levels, chemical bonding, gravity, etc, etc) lead to a vast (infinite?) number of stars, which in turn leads to an equally astounding number of black holes, each capable (theoretically) of spawning another universe.

Through a literal evolutionary process, universes were self-created and crafted through "cosmological selection" which allowed for the most efficient possible virtual particle hyper-inflation (the Big Bang), and subsequent real particle formation, atom formation, matter condensation and gravitation, and supernovae. The Grand Multiverse is an infinitely exponential growth!! Our existence is so magical, the universe we reside in is so refined and perfected in so many aspects, that mathematicians and physicists bow down on their knees and weep at the beauty and simplicity of it's fundamental equations. That this universe had such refined aspects it could infinitely expand after hyper-inflation, create such dense clusters of stars and matter, and that WE could somehow be individuated from the underlying Supreme Consciousness to experience ourself is astounding.

If you are interested in anything about this post, I have many more random tangents that could spring off from this, so fire away with those questions! (I don't know everything, though.
)

S+F for the great OP, really inspiring and a great journey into our meta-physical existence.

I wonder if its okay for me to ask for an experience like this. If we came here and willingly lost our memories to live and experience this life.. would it be wrong to want to know? Is it wrong to TELL everyone else?

I also strongly believe we're not the only ones in this universe, but if things are like you say and there are aliens/extraterrestrials, are we ALL one? Or are there multiple "Gods" and we're representing ourselves through our races? (and not races as in ethnicity i mean species) Is it okay for aliens/extraterrestrials to tell us? Have their "Gods" let them come here with their memories intact? There was a response on page 1 that made me think if this is true maybe there isn't only one of "us" since we're all the same being outside of reality.

I really want to explore the universe. Can someone teach me how to astral project? Is it real or just a hallucination?

If someone reads this and wants to reply can you PM me as well as leave a message so I can come back here and further stimulate my brain as well as others?

Normally from reading the intro, I would have expected this to be some psychadelic babble......and it is in a sense...but It also rings quite true. Interestingly enough many of the symbols that you saw, I saw as well in an experience brought on by taking a bit too much '___'. I don't think that the fact that mine was brought on artificially makes it any less valid...it only meant that mine was under less control, and much more frightening. None the less I am a bit shocked to read some of the exact same imagery, the circular room with various screens, the Universe imploding and exploding in an endless cycle, God literally being everything, The universe just being a game....Etc, Etc.
For me I also had a lot of 'opposites' in the representation...for instance the Exploding, Imploding universe became the Yin Yang...One symbol I saw was existence as a large chess set being played by white and black pieces, and how this game had to be played in balance, else existence would cease to be, since everything that does exist, does so only by being compared to its opposite. Interesting read.....Struck a real chord with me!

S&F!

Wow, what an experience. Reading your post and envisioning it in my own mind made me feel like I was there as well. Sounds a bit like "The Force" from Star Wars haha
.

I do believe that everything is connected though. Every plant, animal, organism, and sentient object on this Earth and in our Universe is connected and has purpose. I am just fascinated by your experience. I feel you are on to something, friend. I wish more people would have these frequently. Life is a grand thing, isn't it?

OP I would like to ask you a few questions. How long have you been meditating? What was the duration of this particular meditation? And do you realize what you have achieved without the aid of external substances takes monks a life time to achieve? Considering you must have been in either the theta or delta frequency of 1-7 Hz

What an incredible description!

If you are lying or mistaken, you still convey it with absolute truth. I am impressed, and hope for all our sakes that the experience you had was genuine.

What a complete waste of time all of this is, if once we die that's it.

I would like to recommend a book to you call "The God Theory". I really think you could connect with it.

I've been in conflict with myself over whether I should share an experience I had a few weeks ago publicly, or keep it to myself. It was a difficult decision, but ultimately I came to the conclusion that I couldn't keep something like this to myself. I feel that it might offer people a different perspective of the world around us, maybe validate some outlooks on life, or simply entertain a few individuals who might find it inspirational.

Let's just say that a few weeks ago I found myself in a very deep meditative state. I felt myself slowly being separated from the room I was in. It was as if I had been a two-dimensional being all my life, and suddenly I had stepped off the screen into a more three-dimensional space. Maybe it would be better described as a fourth dimension? I don't know. The objects in the room were all the same, yet different. The way in which I became separated was very interesting to me. The room seemed to slightly pixelate in the process, as if it had not been "real" all along, as if it had been programed. As I was sinking deeper and deeper into the dark caverns of my consciousness, I found myself in an unexpected place. Although I could still see the room around me, I was looking at it through what I would describe as a spherical wall of screens. To help you imagine it, think of the way a bee or a fly might see the world through it's hundreds of eyes.

I was standing (though not physically) in a dark center of space surrounded by these "screens", and I saw the room. I got the sense that this was the "control center" of my mind. Time had completely stopped. Time was irrelevant. A minute or an hour could have passed, and I would not be able to tell you which was true. I was in the midst of eternity. I felt something else was with me. It wasn't physical, but I could feel it's presence close to me. I want to say that it was separate from me, but I suddenly realized that I was it, and it it was me. I asked it to tell me why I was shown this place. It told me that sometimes it needed to remind itself where it had come from and what it's purpose on earth was. It told me it had left small clues in our world to help us remember where it came from and why. Suddenly I was thrown even deeper into space only to find myself (my consciousness) floating above an incredible sight.

In the middle of dark space I witnessed something unexpected. I'm not quite sure how to even begin to describe it. I'm not sure words in the English language exist that would be adequate to describe what I saw. In fact while I was deep in it, I thought to myself "How the hell do I describe this when I'll want to explain to someone what I saw???" but I will try. I witnessed our universe being born and reborn over and over and over again at very high speeds. It wasn't like the "big bang", it was more like a loop that constantly turned inside out. It was like the shape of an inverse-rotating donut, or I suppose what some would describe as the symbol for "infinity". It was a giant, infinite fractal. This Universe was not what we believe it to be. It performed a function, and that function was to constantly generate new possibilities. Much like computers in our world (though extraordinarily/severely basic in comparison) the Universe was like a giant calculator/generator producing infinite possibilities through complex mathematical equations.

There was a strong presence/consciousness hanging over it. This "calculator/computer" Universe was the creation of this consciousness, and it overlooked every single little action with incredible yet effortless and tireless concentration. I suppose that this presence is the thing to which many people refer to as "God". I felt a oneness with this being. I finally understood that I was it, it was me, it was you, it was the grass, it was the rock, it was the ant, the bird, the wind, the sky, the earth,.... it was everything. It was love, hate, anger, sadness, it was us. Imagine yourself being cut into a quadrillion pieces, and those individual pieces being able to have experiences of their own, separate from the whole. According to my vision that's what our world is. The world and all of us, we are IT.

Since I realized what an important moment this was, I did not want to miss asking the big question. My question was "How did you come to be? Where did this start?" It replied in a form of exchanging a thought in my mind, and the answer was that it simply WAS. It just IS. It did not know why or how, in fact it did not care for why or how, it didn't feel the need to know why or how, it just WAS. Since we humans experience a "beginning" and an "end" on this earth via birth and death, it is very difficult for us to imagine something having no beginning and no end. It seems inconceivable, much like the idea of infinity, something without an end. We try to imagine it, but we struggle to come to terms with the fact that something may not have an end or a beginning. I can't say I felt satisfied by that answer for the reason I mentioned just now, but I accepted it. My next question was why we were here. Understanding came to me in the form of seeing. In a manner of speaking it split itself into an incomprehensible number of pieces in order to learn. It was like an enormous calculator producing new possibilities, just churning them out constantly without end. The purpose was to learn. It had an insatiable hunger for information.

While there, I came to understand a few things (assuming that what I have witnessed is true).

1.) It is all-knowing, all-powerful and ever-present, because it is us and we are it. It is not an old man deciding our fates, it is a consciousness that is inside all of us. We are God and God is us.

2.) It is both partial and impartial to our suffering, because it is experiencing this world through us. To make it easier to imagine, just picture being one of it's atoms. (Hmmm.... Adam/Atom ...
)

3.) We are powerful and we have the capability to influence the world/reality around us. We are creators and engineers of this world, because we originated from the ultimate creator. Though we are stronger as a whole, we (the individuals) do posses some of this ability as a result of originating from IT.

4.) This "physical" world we live in is a mathematical illusion. To help you understand better, it's like an extremely intricate virtual reality program complete with physics assigned to our world, which we are forced to follow.

5.) In order to keep our experience as "real" and pure as possible, we CHOOSE to stay "blind" to our origins.

During my "outer space" experience my earth life seemed almost unreal, as if I had been playing a game for decades. I felt satisfied knowing this, because I realized what was truly important in life. There were things that I fretted over, and now I knew they were not important. I finally knew my purpose. My purpose was to have the experiences that I have, so that we as a whole would learn from it. You and I, we are one piece of a giant puzzle. As strange as it may seem, I actually began to miss my "virtual" life a little, and couldn't wait to return to it so that I could continue. I was told that it was best if I return and immerse myself back in this world, because if I didn't, it would be impossible for me to continue my mission. Since IT was me and I was IT, I knew that I had chosen to be here. I was slowly eased out of my meditation, the room came back, the pixels began to disappear as I "stepped" back into our three-dimensional world, time began to tick again, and the earth seemed like a real place once more. I was happy to be back, and I was completely blown away by what I had seen during my little adventure.

Ever since I've been trying to figure out how to put the whole thing into words, and whether I should tell people about it. I guess I finally found the courage. So, there you have it. Make of it what you will. Truth? Delusion? A little bit of both? You decide. My words are here for your consideration, entertainment, thought, opinion, or whatever else you choose to do with them. I'm not preaching by any means. I'm only offering my perspective of the world based on the experience I just shared.

thats EXACTLY how i look at the world now, it all started after my 3rd acid trip ( yea yea rah rah ). i was in a state for im guessin 2 hours where everything made sence to me, god was me and i was god and we are all the same, everything was connected through time, and everything happens for a reason. i was thinkin bout maken a post like yours yesterday but you nailed it. 2011, the times we are living in. peace

I appreciate what you've shared, but I am still skeptical on the Alien intervention into our DNA. I feel that if they were present in modifying the minute amount of DNA required to differentiate us from the monkey, they'd have a presence. I would hope we'd be more than a forgotten ant farm.

The approach I tend to lean towards in this argument, is that of an energetic manipulation. The change of consciousness and DNA manipulation doesn't have to be a lab experiment from a higher evolved species, but the missing link can be found in giant leaps caused by immediate increase in energy.

Science is showing raised levels of energy in the universe, and I found that information on other forums at this board with reputable scientific link backing up the claim. This age of Aquarius we're entering may cause some sort of genetic mutation to DNA that can elevate consciousness in a quick shift, rather than a slowly evolving process leaving skeletal remains to document it.

Crossing the galactic plane may have some impact on that energy resonating through our DNA helix.

Thank you for your courage in sharing. I have not yet really experienced the reality you are talking about, but I have had a certain "understanding" for quite some time. I have put it in words, but I feel there is just so much more I need to add, it's very hard. I put it in a little article, but I think it's a bit too long for a post. I have it on a website...

www.execulink.com...

on the left side of this page is a link called "My Truth". Lol, I was gonna call it my "Gospel" which means truth, but I thought it might offend some.
Anyways, what you have written in your post rings true with all of my understandings, and there is a chance that my article might help you further understand your experience. Perhaps not, but it's worth a go, lol.
Anyways, thanks again for sharing, I hope I too will be able to shed my physical for a while to enjoy an experience similar to yours...so many distractions...
I hope you enjoy, let me know what you think and I look forward to further conversation.
Peace and One Love!

That is a logical suggestion. I just want to add something from my perspective.

As a composer I'm able to hear music in my mind, that's where it's created. But when I hear the composition actually being performed by musicians that's another level of bliss entirely! Many composers/musicians I've talked to feel the same. The actual physical experience of "organized sonic waves" hitting the ear drums is magical. It's better than the virtual thing.

So maybe IT needs the machine (the universe) to really experience all of creation. Anthropomorphism is a slippery slope - just my 2 cents.

The epiphany you arrived at through your vision, I had concluded to be the most likely explanation for reality some years back. To me it simply seemed logical and made sense. But I still have a few questions about this single consciousness entity that is everything and vice versa:
1. when this consciousness scatters itself into the existence of every subatomic bit of reality, is there still a singular consciousness present somehow, or does the singular consciousness need to be 'rebuilt' by each piece 'returning to' consciousness? After which the process repeats.
2. Does the singular consciousness retain a memory of previous consciousnesses?
3. The desire to learn or to understand suggests a need. Where might this need to learn and experience everything have come from? Perhaps by not knowing where you've come from or how?
4. Couldn't exploding oneself into quadrillions of pieces and scattering them into the furthest reaches in order to create new, unique consciousnesses, new lives, be considered the ultimate example of selfless love?
5. Might there be other singular consciousnesses existing in other realities outside the limits of our dimensions?
6. Because each of us is simply a unique expression of the same consciousness, doesn't that imply that our individualism is a myth we believe because we can't see the big picture? And, ultimately, as individuals, isn't our value or purpose only as good as the values or purposes we stand for? Growing to be and to see more than we are? Living isn't about surviving, because even after we die, we survive to live again. Isn't our worth truly measurable as what we contribute to the whole, what we stand for, the principles and future possibilities we are willing to die for? And if we are not willing to die for the enhancement of future generations, then wouldn't it seem we have lost sight of the nature of our own existence? We exist not for ourselves, but for existence, for the continuation of existence. Sadly, today I see most Americans sort of having an attitude of "I got my liberty, my existence; go get your own," feeling that they owe nothing to the future or to anyone else. But it was others who bestowed these people their liberties and their existence. We owe everything we have to those who came before us, and we pay it forward to those who will follow.
