First off, great thread, I've also always thought keeping up on interesting astrological alignments would be a good idea too. I only read some comments, but early on someone was talking about the guy who's information you use thinking that the big day will be before Dec.21,2012. Drunvalo Melchizedek says that the modern Mayan shamans see the more important day as Feb. 19, 2013, the day of Feb 19 itself is also very important. When the Earth's Kundalini energy got stuck at the Panama Canal on it's way to Peru/Chile, the appropriate day to begin the rituals to help it move through was on Feb. 19. So if you're looking for important days, that one is fast approaching, it's next Saturday. It is Tone 9 - Patience, and sun sign Offering. Here is what these have to say: Tone 9

It'd be great to have a thread that checks out the tone and sign for major events. 911 is 6 - flow, and Crocodile, the Croc actually has it pretty accurate. It'd be great if this showed the energy of the day, rather than the person born on that day. The Norway Spiral was in the morning on Dec. 9, 2009, that's not very interesting, but if you make it Dec. 8, as the site says sunrise was considered the next day, it gets far more interesting and spot on.

Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort.

But I wouldn't call what I am doing "piggybacking". That very Chuen of you.

I feel you should accept the combination of information that both you and I have presented as peanut butter and jelly.

It's a strange thing to think about - the fact that about 13 billion years ago you had your very first birthday. Whatever event that occurred created the particles which coalesced into gas. Areas of higher density in this field of gas coalesced and ignited into the universes' first stars. These stars later went supernova and littered the universe with the heaver elements. The second generation of stars were born - including our sun, most likely and around it our little planet. It's a strange thing to think about - the very particles that create our bodies were generated in that one singular moment 13 some odd billion years ago. And yet, here we sit - looking out into the universe and contemplating our place in it. It's a strange thing to think about - that we're actually the universe looking at its own self - contemplating itself, discovering itself. I don't know that anything will happen in October of 2012 or if February 10th was the beginning of some cosmic countdown but I do know that fundamentally - there is no difference between you or me or the chair that you're sitting in and it won't be until more of us come to this realization that anything can change really around here.

if you go to the date 21/12/2012 it says its the day to "Ask for the wisdom and continued honored memory of our ancestors" which i find interesting, but then

Go to 22/12/2012 (the day after) and it says the sun sign is the croc, and is the day to be open to new beginnings...this is kinda freaky..

while I don't subscribe to any particular religion / following / astrological / occultist dogma, especially those that make allusions to heirarchy, and interpretations where the interpreter / person that has read up on something assumes a superiority, for example Great white brotherhood, Lord Meru etc of Mayan interpretations. Unfortunately it's that sort of elitist and frankly human (egotistical) variety of dimensionalism that ruins the deal.

I have studied many religions and occultist / wiccan nature etc, on an academic basis and have found, like most truth seekers, that the ultimate truth is oneness and universal consciousness in relation to universal / higher dimensional realities and the realization of these.

On that premise, I believe there is collective consciousness and variations on levels of such and possible flux / alignment variations and that ''tapping into'' consciousness can be done in so many ways and in true realization, lies real truth and these astrological and other such findings give 'proof' to the nature of consciousness though are just a means and are all connected.

I have done successful tarot readings using a normal deck of cards for example....if one were Jungian one would see archetypes in most things and translate these similarly, same for numerology.....all the symbols are there, mostly archaic as consciousness is archaic and life itself embodies these archaic archetypal values.

The cross referencing of these methods of accessing consciousness is relevant as a means of proof of it's existance and zeitgeist though consciousness, like another poster said is always there.

Nothing for me. Something started way back in January where suddenly I could resist temptation. But seeing as those temptations were Christian-based no-nos, one would gander a human sacrificing Mayan wouldn't be related.

I agree, there has to be major flaws to a society where sacrifices were made, especially human.

Though, the world in it's current state could be said to similarly sacrifice it's people, given the fact there are countless preventable deaths caused by poverty / disease / harmful food / knowledge daily.

Perhaps that's where the consciousness comes in.....irony of ironies.....conscious prevention of being a human sacrifice.

I am happy, this website is having some honest to goodness responses and people are paying attention, that is what it is all about. Pay attention, be aware and trust your intuition. I think in these next 260 days it is going to be very difficult for people to stay centered and on their path. It will be interesting to see what will unfold, I for one would like a front seat and will do all I can to assure I can be there to help out and spread the seeds of knowledge if that is my path. Actually the uprising in Egypt went for 18 days, but it may confuse the counting to use a time/date zone from the other side of the world to count the length of their event.

So its already spread to Algeria with protesters demonstrating there and now we see Beijing getting in on it.

I personally believe the more important moments of enlightenment to come will be deep individual awakenings. I don't think MSM will be a good indicator of the "enlightenment" that is occurring.

I will participate in the thread and post a link to my own personal enlightenment I had just recently that I believe applies to what is being discussed here.

AKBAL's energy, I think is Kan's sign.

I think Jaguar plays well with Night.

I am sure once we really get a hang of connecting day signs to events and to the NEW CONSCIOUSNESS we will fully understand each sign's power. Of course this is up to your own personal time. I research my sign (cib) because it is my sign.

Cib also symbolized by Wax. Also represented by small Insects. Cib is the wise/ the warrior.

I find it interesting there is a 1 Cib and a 13 Cib that have responded, As Cib is the usher of the people, to escort them to new places without fear.
