Because its not a lie and your the one who is denying the truth. Look at the state of black people not just America all over the world. We've been getting our butts kicked from the dawn of time. Been beaten raped and enslaved. Jamaica, Haiti, Africa, America. All these places have tasted the colonization segregation and misrepresentation of their European masters and their respective countries still lie in shambles outside of a few resorts. Face it darker skin has always been looked down upon, and treated poorly. I'm an American grew up in an all white community. I lived through it, I was called the names, denied the opportunities. I felt it first hand but I came out stronger and in turn I asked for nothing and give nothing in return.There is generational damage in the minds of black people.

In the American instance everyone knows the story of the slaves ships. We were bred for a couple hundred years for the sheer purpose of being a work horse. Beaten by the master, mated for the purpose of creating a better worker like animals. Had your "wives" raped consistently children sold from you what sense of family existed? Banned from reading, owning property or anything else cause you were property a mere animal. Before you say well you sold slaves first. Yes enemeis defeated in war. Did the European countries declare war? No you just came in and took what you wanted because you could.

Finally fast forward to freedom, but its segregated. You own nothing how do you survive? You can't read who will teach you. You have no money but you make it somehow. Civil rights were granted but still your not an equal. Nowadays its better, but still the scars are there. Roosevelt and the New Deal basically sealed the deal with welfare and such its easy to fall back into slave mode let the system provide for you. Living in the ghetto, cant read again its a jungle out there and then you get hypocritical Americans calling others "animals" like they didnt have the same struggles? ie: Witch hunts, Spanish Inquisitions, every major war, you name it you come from it.

Lot of people like to point to the Jewish struggle in Nazi Germany non comparison similar but not as long term or to the extent of the black man. Jews were slaughtered yes but they weren't bred and kept as live stock, they were packed in to the orignal "ghettos" and made to do labor but you kept some sense of dignity family, and historty and in the end even got monetary reparations a state to call home and restoration of many of the fortunes pillaged by Nazi Germany. What did the black man get when he was freed? Jim Crow?

No way do I accept, excuse, or condone the actions of my lost brothers and sisters but I'm just explaining where some of the mentality comes from. Trust is earned. Do some of them need to get off their arses. Sure do. Can they make it if they try Sure can! But is that road harder. Sure is! I came from a backwood town with open space to spread my wings and a family with two parents I am lucky. In the ghetto there is no place to spread your wings the public schooling sucks, many families are single parent, and thanks to No Child Left Behind laws kids get to the College level and cant read or write. I know it cause I work in the ghetto at a college and I see them everyday.

They were in such a hurry to get a black man in and prove they werent racist they picked a total idiot. But really, thats not on Thomas, its on the white racists who selected him. If they had been able to understand that "just a black guy" wasnt enough, and they actually considered that there MIGHT be black males who deserved the job, we wouldnt be stuck with him. For who knows how long.

When my wife and I started an LLC we made her president so it would be a "woman" owned business. Using the rules and regs to get a leg up is not illegal. But you have to be able to folow up, or else you not only fall flat but tarnish everyone else that you associate with.

I'll say it again. It is perpetuated intentionally to maintain division amongst people and races. It's called "divide and conquer". It is a psyops warfare tactic. And a very effective one.

Have you ever read any of his opinions? I am going to guess not, because even people who WANT to like Thomas have to admit the man is an idiot after reading his opinions. He just isnt smart. I am surprised he made it into and through law school, much less ended up a judge, and a Supreme court justice is out of the question for his level of ability.

Read them for yourself. Of course if YOUR ability to logic is sub par, you may not be able to discern that there is something awry. But if that is the case, no amount of debate from me will have any impact either.

Edit to add, and no, my opinion is not ideological. If it were I would be bashing Roberts and Scalia. And I do not particularly like their ideology, but, I have to admit they are intelligent and make a good argument for it.

This shouldn't be the way to get a "LEG UP" in business. And we ask why is everyone moving over sees to do business. Because there is no leg up over there ... besides alot of labor issues which obviously helps ... The people here are more concerned about how to get a "FREE LEG UP" rather than working hard studying and learning thier "CRAFT" to better be able to work and be more efficient.

To clarify, we had just patented an invention and were trying to get noticed. Not saying we were playing fair, but to be honest, we wanted to sell a product and get as much money as we could.

A couple hundred years is not "from the dawn of time." And black people have been involved in the African slave trade far, far longer than Europeans were. Prior to colonization, Europeans just did what Africans and others did, they took slaves in the neighboring tribes they warred with.

Black people are far from being alone in their suffering. People need to learn some history, that is not totally self centered, and and they need to let go of the past. This is not to say existing inequities should not be looked at and addressed, but it does mean that if you were not a slave, you dont get the right to be angry if your ancestors were. White people have been slaves too, and they got over it. Mostly because no one cared if they cried about it. Same with women. Women of all colors hisotrically have been considered property and raped and beated, etc., and they have gotten over it too. And their "liberation" was much more recent, and their oppression lasted a lot longer.

No. You want to know if Thomas is an idiot or if I am just being discriminatory or an ideologue, you do the research yourself. I am already convinced, I did my homework. I took Con Law. Im not doing your work for you, I dont owe you a free education. Either dont be lazy, and find out for yourself, or dont make assumptions about things you refuse to educate yourself about.

Just look at "Historically Black Colleges", while only a handfull if any attend, this is considered acceptable, but if a typical college like Virginia Tech only hosted a handfull of african americans the Jesse Jackson would screame that colleges are holding back on african americans. In this day and age I see more racism against whites. Television and Movies are another example just about all "white" shows or movies have at least one african american, but there are very many "black" shows and movies that have no "white" and if they do they are bumbling bafoons or stereotyped redneck trailer trash. I see BET where is WET?

And this person has this contract .. I am not saying anything positive or negative about the company .. .I am simply saying people are not in thier houses from a Hurricane that happened two years ago ... And much of the problem stems from the person who won teh contract ... whether it is forms that needs tobe filled out or whether it is just pure LAZINESS or lack of knowledge .. .PEOPLE Are affected by this persons actions ...


O LORD HERE GOES ... and I would liek to preface this by saying i believe totally in Democracy ... and Free Enterprise .. although its more like Democrazy here lately ...

If there was ONE company who handles the building homes for the government and does it in Florida, Galveston, and Lousiana ... or anywhere else needed ..Would they be more efficient or less efficient in getting the job done than having soeone different every time ...

Anyways, not sure how this could be done without Socialism or Nepotism taking place as i am sure it would ... but it would be better for the end result.
