What in god's name is happening??

Does anyone else feel as though we are living in the end of days?

So much has happened to humanity since the towers came down it feels like a new reality is starting to emerge and one that is completely alien to say the least.

In which ever direction we choose to look there seems to be total chaos.

We can take nature for example, earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, cold weather and I’m sure this summer will bring with it, its own new set of problems and on and on and on...

The earth, the people, the world its all changing and it's changing really fast.
Perhaps it is just me and I am too involved in stories like mass animal deaths and disclosure and the like or perhaps something really is happening. I just can't help feel that the current rioting in Egypt is the line that humanity is crossing into a new realm of reality.

With this event, just the amount of people involved it is becoming more and more intensified.
We now have a salacious culture with each event needing to be more powerful than the one before..
It is almost like a lust and desire for extremism without us even realising that we are in fact secretly gluttonous for more chaos.

We are now active participants in the revolution and we are the ones taking a stand, we are the ones waving weapons and throwing stones, we are fighting and dying. The time of peaceful protests have come to an end.

From here on in every march, every protest will have a sense of world unity to it. We no longer fight the small fight but come together to wage war against the machine.

It is my belief that we are at this very moment crossing a precipice where the future is unknown to the majority and yet the minority control it all.

The bottom line is that if the world government really wanted peace then they would send an ambassador to tell the world they are laying down their arms and distributing world wealth equally. These people in power do not even care about money they are beyond that. Money is a commodity for the layman. They move in circles of great power and influence where money has no effect.

Yes these riots may settle but the world will never be the same we will continue to make the next event even greater than the last until we come face to face with the enemy in an all out war. That is the way things are heading and it seems there is no stopping it save a messiah, Christ, or Ufo world event taking place.

I ask you all what in God's name is happening to humanity, the earth and the world as we know it....?

I feel it more so in the past couple of weeks since I joined ATS than I ever have in my life...
maybe not necessarily the 'end of the world', persay.. but definitely some change to the way the world is, or was...

This one feels people are faced with an imminent decision. Humans must choose either Love, or fear, as the base to our actions and movements.

Which one will you choose on a conscious, consistent basis? That will determine the direction of humanity.

something wicked comes his way . Its negativity is evident within its wrath of 2011 the first month is not even done yet . surley with all that negativity there is posiivity somewhere to counter to back to a lesser degree... What the negativity force and positive forces are any ones guess with so many possibilities. Whatever kept us alive this far im sure is still doing its job probably took a break or had a litle extra to deal with ..but surley some stability will be coming back .

No news is really good news.

End of days, by Christ you are right. Been the end of days since the first one we showed up at.

Don't you just love a good storm. Gotta love the wind in your face.

I think you will be lucky to experience a near death out of body experience, now that will wake you up on return.

Seeing your first UFO is really cool.

It is all life, and you get to do with it as you please.

I rather enjoy the excitement.

Its not the end, its the start of a new purge for human necessities and resources worldwide and we will all feel its effects.
The end comes to us all,God,the creator ,the consciousneess will do what it has to for survival,welcome to the illusion,you are not free,you are not independant,you are like us all in the same boat called mother earth,and everything is back to front and moving faster than you can ever move,recount and resaerch the speed of everything around you,reality is a illusion,everything that ever will be or has to be wil be regardless of ideaology ,and non of us is getting away from it.
At this time in history all will feel like they don`t belong or will seek to escape,unfortunately we can`t

Which of those two words has to change or end for this to happen.
Either one, I say. The world can end. Or the word "The."
Which would your rather change.
Me, I vote for "the." How about it becomes "our" world.
If it's Our World, then it is no longer The World.

the end.



Religious version of the same thing
I figure, in the biblical sense, a creator only has one move left at this point.
Sneak attack via garden of paradise and eternal life.
Since chicken little told us the sky has fallen the only way to bring about a garden of paradise is to pick up the sky and put it back where it belongs.
The Ice Caps move into the upper atmosphere and skin cancer becomes a thing of the past.
In the process of this happening the earth experiences years of winter first.
Everyone who revolts or burns, or seeks personal vengance during this will wind up making their own lot in life burnt, bloody, or broken, when the new day dawns.

I am grown up. Perhaps you should take a look outside or around you...

You may realise that great change is around the corner and no matter where you bury your head you will be a part of that change.

It may not be in your back yard yet.. but trust me it will be soon!

In the past few months or so, I am amazed at how many people share my views on this topic, but keep tight-lipped because of those who "can't handle the truth." I agree - I feel big changes coming - end of days? Maybe, but I lean towards the period of spiritual enlightenment where those who can handle the truth will reach a higher vibrational state. I also believe a lot of mysteries regarding our purpose, origins, and future will be answered. I for one cannot wait - it is going to be one heck of a ride.

Guys, we're living in the age of imminent revelation. May it be our doom, or a privilege among human history and time itself. Who knows whether this will be simply a century for the unveiling of a new world order (good or bad), for disclosure of alien entities, for an Apocalypse in 2012, for discovering of a technology that will change the face of our planet and beyond, for us raising our frequency and ascending to a higher dimension. Perhaps none of these things. But I'm truly excited, and happy to be so young and seeing/feeling something happen on this earth that has never in the history of time as we know it. I may not be an important figure in this transformation, but simply knowing that I'm alive and one of the billions partaking, is enough to send my kundalini through the roof.

Evil doesn't stand a chance. Humanity is just going through some "growing pains" - all will be well for those who are still standing on the solid ground called "faith."

You people talk about change like you know what is happening. We are all children, and scared. If anything sllightly ever changed trust me, you will be the first to crap your pants.

Nothing is changing, you cant change the end. riots and dying animals, and global weather change should be the least of your worries.

I completely agree with the OP. It just seems that over the past few years, everything has gotten much more tense on a global scale. Although I have to admit that I bet most of that is just our perception of things.

If you look at how much happened the past few months, it seems like we're in for some big stuff this year. The controversial "missile launch" (as some people called it) off the coast of California, the North Korea/South Korea conflict again, Chinese troops deploying in the DRK, the shooting in Arizona, and now the massive riots and demonstrations in the region around the Middle East.

Granted, I don't think that we're in the "End Times" or anything like that. If the world didn't end because of WW2 or the Cuban Missile Crisis, I don't think it's gonna happen next week.

But there is definitely change in the air, even if it's just the global power shift.

What does worry me is the speed and intensity it is changing at...much like a ball rolling downhill gathering moss..

But choose the reality you wish to exist inside even if it is not refelctive of the reality around you.

Ya know what my ringtone is? "It's the end of the world as we know it" by REM. Why? It's ALWAYS the end of the world as we know it! Change is constant. There's always something new happening or about to happen or just around the corner (like fusion energy and flying cars ). If you have lived long enough, you have seen many changes. Many governments rise and fall. Plenty of volcanoes, earthquakes, floods..... about the only thing that's really new are the accumulative effects. Climate change, pollution, extinctions, population growth... but human nature? Sadly, pretty much always the same. End of the Worlders have always been around. In the year 1000, lots of people committed suicide because, of course, a year/date like that must mean something! How many predictions and prophecies have I seen made and not happen? Sorry, I've lost count. How many millions have been made off people being suckered into religious cults? Awaiting the Apocalypse and buying up guns and ammo and food stores? Sorry, I've lost count. Not that I don't think big changes are potentially around any corner, just that.... panic leads to poor decision making. Like I said, it's Always the End of the World As We Know It!
