Another ATS member sent me
his myspace page and my
investigation started from that
point. And I respect Airspoon enough
not to post his real name or the
url to his myspace in a public forum.

And I hope he is ok as well.

Id hate to even thunk it, cause i liked airspoon, and agreed with much of his postings and or point of view....
Its that thought actually that led me to this post...supposen its so, somebody gets hired to draw out as it were anti autoritarian posters to get a list of potential threats to the PTB which could be used to base a round up at the apropriate date.
naw.....perhaps hes just dicided to get busy on a project, or even leave the country for a bug out position where he wishes to leave no trace....?

I share in your thoughts stirling, I also admire airspoon's candor, prose and insight. I am ultimately more concerned with his whereabouts for now, but the conspiracy part of me considers your point as well.
For the record, I miss Esoteric Teacher too, but he was banned.

and it is going on 6 weeks now.

Boondock-Saint - I know that you are trying to find Airspoon, but I found this thread when I searched "What happened to Phage" in search. It would seem that he has also not returned since November as others in this thread have pointed out. I am curious if anyone is looking for Phage as well or if anyone knows him "in the real world" or whatever. He really had a way of intelligently posting thoughts and facts that others of us sometimes had trouble putting into the right wording.

Perhaps another theory in the disappearance of both of them is that maybe they just got tired of the huge influx of new users that seem to have an immature 4chan mentality. A lot of the intelligent discussions of the "old days" seem to have gone out the window in favor of letting anyone with any wild claim on board with the burden of proof falling on anyone who doubts them - instead of having to prove your claims when you make them.

Ever since joining ATS this sort of sad occurrence has happened on occasion. What it underscores for me is that there are flesh and blood people behind those pixels - with real life concerns, responsibilities, families, friends and jobs.

I wish Airspoon and all of the other posters - whether still here or not - peace. The next time we disagree with one another on some silly issue that none of us have any control over, I hope we can all remember that we are only human.
