Ive read your Post's Simples and i find your word neither credible nor Trustworthy without solid evidence that proves your correct, The logic defies reason, There is no reason and No evidence other-wise to suggest that the Weeton Resovoire is anything but that And considering its a vital part of the water flow in the area i suggest you show another Local pumping station, Or are you suggesting the residents in that area dont have water?

Sounds just like what the North would do

Seems more and more likely it's water storage, although some strange way of storing water imo.

I think you're correct in all fairness, we should just drop the topic now, it's pretty apparent it's a water storage facility.
Thank you for clearing it all up for me

you protect me from nothing fabled enemies . you need to do some research
IL help you , USA trained al kaeida to fight the Russians now al kaeida is the enemy ?? operation cyclone READ
what does al kaeida mean ?
Robin Cook, British Foreign Secretary from 1997 to 2001, has written that al-Qaeda and Bin Laden were "a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies", and that "Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians
see how he backs my theory up ? Im sorry but im more likely to believe him than you .

Oh that? Ummmm, oh yes. . .it's actually an excavation of something similar to stone or woodhenge, and the top of the "building" is not altered, its a material very similar to the plastic that is often used in greenhouses.

Honestly I don't know, but it sure sounds legit. I actually have seen similar places in the US where a temporary building is erected for the purpose of archeological studies.

I think what the poster, Simples, was hinting at was that it the structure is a munitions dump... nothing exciting in itself but still the need to keep it secret and to have the security which is in place there.

You would be massively supprised at the amount of bases and munitions sites are located along the motorway network, the said entrances are often labelled as, "Service Exit" or "Service Access" and the part that gives away it's true nature is the red rectangle that envelopes it on the sign. If your on the motorway and you happen to see one of these signs, go down the road and you will then come to a barrier and then get told to leave the area by the guard at the barrier, make some BS excuse that you simply needed to turn around or made a wrong turn and hey presto you have entertained you curiousity for the day, lol.

The reason why so many of these sites are situated along the motorway network is simple, ease of transportation via the road and you will find that if there is any nuclear material then the site will have a rail link, in the 1960's massive portions of the rail network were closed off in the beeching report, BUT! a lot of the rail network that was said to have been closed was requisitioned by the military.

Ok Simples.... If it's never been used to store water, how come 17-18 yrs ago when myself and a few others used to drive to various locations in the area to smoke a certain illegal herb based substance, we used to lie on top of this VERY thing, staring at the stars, listening to the sound of running water?? I suppose we were listening to a looped tape of water sounds to cover it's real purpose.
Back then there were no cameras or fence as such, but I can only assume with the heightened security issues due to the "war on terror" there has been a need to protect these resources with extra cameras and fences?

theres a good few of these reservoir bunkers dotted about the uk . even if they are a service reservoir theres always a chance of another doorway inside that goes a good bit underground away from the res ;-)
search "reservoir bunker" and one or two declassified ones come up
