When are you going to get it through your heads that you are a small group of extremists and in no way speak for the country as a whole?

Contrary to what you say, the French do not hate America, and they are not all socialists/Marxists. Some of them are, yes; but in your view of the world, anyone to the left of Attila the Hun is a socialist. The French are not cowards, and they do not appease the terrorists. They have morals, and they do not smell bad.

It is really disgusting to hear someone like you make such vicious, hateful statements about an entire country just because France opposed the insane warmongering policies of the idiot Bush, whom you worship and adore. I assure you, many more people admire and respect the French and the Germans for standing up to Bush, than despise and hate them like you do.

In 2002, the United States imported $28,240,000,000 in goods from France. Remember the Iraq War started in March, 2003, and warmongers like O'Reilly were screaming about the French for months before the war started. The results of the boycott, of which O'Reilly claimed to be a leader? In 2003, the United States imported $29,221,000,000 in goods from France. Im not a right winger and I have no love for France. Wait for the full extent of frances part in the Oil for food program/Scandal is known. The French were recieving cash bribes from Saddam the main reason they did not want the war was they stood to lose billions of dollars.

no, i'm american, no french blood in me or french relations. i have no particular love for france, and they certainly have their share of skeletons in their closet, but i get upset when i see people acting like france is the enemy of america when they aren't. both countries are on the same side in the fight against terrorism, they just have different opinions on how to do so. and both countries are, of course, looking after their own best interests in different ways.

Fair enough. You disapprove of the French government's war policy because you think they had corrupt financial motives. But do you hate the French people? Do you think they are cowards? That they smell bad? As far as I am concerned FlyerFan's remarks cross the line from legitimate criticism to bigotry and hate speech.

From what I understand, Ahmed Chalabi has all the relevant documents, and is refusing to share them with the United Nations investigation. Can you please explain to me how a known con man and crook, who is also probably an Iranian spy, was allowed to take custody of these documents, and why he is allowed to keep them?

It doesn't matter what France, Germany or Russia did or didn't do. Doesn't matter why action was actually taken. Doesn't matter what's true and what's not. It seems most people just take it for granted that Bush is the Anti-Christ, the One True Symbol of Evil and it's all for the oil. You could come up with absolute unimpeachable evidence to the contrary and it wouldn't matter. Bush is guilty, even if he isn't. Moore is right, even if he isn't. I've talked with a few people who went to see F911 and as far as they're concerned it is gospel truth and anyone who doesn't think so is stupid, wrong and a Bush supporter. These sheep staunchly defend Moore and his offered version of the truth and balk at the thought of actually reading or researching anything that might show evidence to the contrary. They've seen it on the big screen, so it must be true. No wonder Moore thinks Americans are stupid. An awful lot of them swallow his stuff hook line and sinker without batting an eye, and it shouldn't be that way with any info from either the right OR left.

As for hating this country.... lots of people do, both within and outside of our borders. So what? I can't imagine why anyone would care. They hate us now, but wait until they need something from us. Then it'll be all diplomacy and Rose Garden walks. It's the same bunch of crap recycled decade after decade.

I agree with Kayem- I have read through so many post about Moore- and so many people slate him- he says himself that he is putting his opinion across.

I think that this post was just put up simply to start a debate!! Moore discussions always do.

Reading through this post i was shocked by the French remarks- that was terrible, some opinions are best kept to yourself( especially such personal remarks) and to be honest with you there more personal insults going on aswell!!

Some people just need to open their eyes and get their heads round the fact that most of what Moore says is true...

Im not saying they were Billions of dollars in bribes. Its a fact that Saddam had taking out a large amount of IOUs/Oil deals with these countries thats were the billions are. With Saddam gone those deals can be made null and void. Thats were they would lose Billions. The bribes would be far less though not yet proven there is a invesigation under way. I tend to think were theres smoke theres fire but its just my opinion.

I also dont consider the entire country of France cowards they did have a resistance in WW2. Ofcourse there are some cowards in france just like every other country in the world but I would never classify an entire country in such simple terms. I would addmit I think of the French Foreign Legion as the countries best and bravest fighters and they dont have any french people in them go figure.
