That is true, however as I have already pointed out by writing this thread I am acknowledging them and that they do not get enough coverage on ATS, at least it’s a start and more than many others on ATS.

It’s not only about a lack of information on ATS about these issues, it is also about how on ATS we have people writing about how they think the drugs are controlling them, when there are people in the world who without drugs are suffering. Or about how people on ATS write about Fluoride in the water, yet there are those who are dying every day just because they don’t have access to clean water like we do. Or how we talk about the 9/11 conspiracies sometimes like it was the largest catastrophe ever, yet there is far worse going on every day. And about how some of us go on and on about the NWO, yet there are places like Somalia who have no real government and we almost never seem to talk about the really corrupt governments of the world. I just think that on ATS some people are forgetting the people who are really suffering in the world over their own paranoid believes that ultimately mean nothing. We should be more grateful for what we have rather than writing a bunch of conspiracy theories about chemtrails and the like.

I would agree I am also guilty of this.

A good test for ATSers to know whether they are talking about a real conspiracy or not:

Could writing about it get you killed?

If not, its probably not a real conspiracy.

Thanks for posting those very real topics. I enjoy the speculative but I think its important to remind people of the very real stuff going on in the world.

I can rather confidently say that you will never have to watch your child slowly die of starvation as you are trying to escape form a ethnic genocide in which you home has been destroyed and all your other family killed through a baron waste land. You cannot possible empathise what that would be like nor can I.

on ATS everyone tries to claim that the NWO is going to roll in and steel all of their freedoms. Funny how almost no one ever talks about the billions of people in the world today who have already lost all their freedoms and their very humanity.

Also, thought that I'd add, you could probably make some very interesting threads about the topics you're listing. I would imagine there are tons of backdoor deals and downright scams going on in poorer countries; all at the expense of the common people.

Are your referring to any recent threads there mate.........

Thanks for posting, I think your right, if its a genuine conspiracy that might get you killed then your on to something. Anything else is just speculation and hypothesis.

It looks like u have some high expectations for ATS. I am not sure that is the reality.

It was started somewhat as a joke, I believe -- an entertainment medium, for the "fringe" to let loose. I doubt the owners had any idea what it might become. Today we have a mix of the fringe, the mainstream, the "way out there", and the serious -- and probably a dozen other ways to categorize people -- all human.

I love ATS. It has taught me a lot. Now in my retirement, free from a work week of drudgery just to pay the bills with no time to stop and reflect, I have been challenged and delighted to be able to see the world from all the different points of view this site indulges. It has been a great learning experience.

I am just barely beginning to see a framework for understanding just how this human society is organized and functions. People in ordinary life just don't have the time to observe, digest and make conclusions.

Yes, we need to look at the way people are affected world wide by the "system" that is in place. We are inundated with code words like "freedom", "democracy", "free market" and "capitalism", but are they real or just part of the smoke screen? Are they just camoflauge for what is really going on?

Before we can do anything about the state of the world we have get a grip on the way it is really, and not just the way it is portrayed. Not an easy task. ATS, in spite of its origins has proven to be a tool to help us get to this understanding. Yes, we have to wade through a deep stream of disinformation, make belief and fantasy but somehow I do believe that there is something to be gained by the whole experience.

I do not have the answer yet, but I think we are rumbling around in the right vicinity. Thanks, OP, for adding an element of challenge. We need people like you to help us look into yet another unexplored corner of the way it is.

Every part of the world has different issues. This is actually a part of the incarnation process. What struggles did you wish to take on in this life to learn and grow? From a soul level, that is.

Be assured that the outlandish conspiracy theories are as real as third world hunger.

Strange enough, they are actually related. It took me a while to get the big picture. Now I can only laugh at political squabbles and related drama, while truly horrendous experiments and activities are taking place beyond the public's eye. Each person has a different focus this lifetime, thanks for sharing yours.

Once again I'll state that every soul asks for certain experiences before they incarnate. In the grand scheme of things it's all about personal attainment and evolution. Good or bad, well that's a lower perspective.

You've hinted at things you may know about and I'd be very interested in discovering more to that end but regarding this post in particular, from what I've seen in my brief lurking and membership recently, I can sort of figure out that ATS serves mostly those looking into the UFO/NWO and maybe the 9/11 and 2012 topics since those are the fringe aspects of culture that garner the most "hits" as it were in relation to conspiracies.

That's the only reason I can surmise that ATS hasn't seen many threads related to things that theorists may consider "MSM territory" such as starvation and other human issues, purely because on sites such as this one, they may not be deemed as important or revelatory in the eyes of those of a more conspiratorial nature.

Of the hundreds of threads and thousands of posts Ive done on here only two stirred up some real-life issues. That was my indicator of how real I am getting with my posting as opposed to how unreal my thousands of other posts were. Which is not a problem as long as we're still able to discern the real stuff from the...speculative stuff.

I think deep down most of the posters here would love to uncover some journalistic gem, something that blows the lid off of something. But most of what we produce is just not it.

You are right Kevin.

We here at ATS ignore about 99.9% of everything.

And we get narrowly focused into specific things, and then beat that horse to eternity.

Many things that happen and do get some mention, are quickly buried and forgotten.

For example the Hungarian Chemical Spill (which was EPIC) was quickly buried and forgotten, and we have almost no updated information about the aftermath. (Although there is some really mind blowing stuff available if you google it).

You mention the genocides in Africa, and this is a subject that ALWAYS gets ignored big time.
Even though the African wars are probably some of the biggest cases of murder on Earth, we happily ignore it for some bizarre reason. And they are constantly on-going.

Another good example are toxic chemical discussions.

We focus on a specific chemical like aspartame or HFCS, meanwhile hundreds of even more deadly and messed up chemicals go unnoticed and ignored. This is a dangerous precedent of ignorance, and almost certainly an obvious ploy of misdirection.

Same goes with everything else.
We will focus on one aspect of the Government while ignoring a million other even more important or damning aspects of it.

This is partially a combination of our ignorance, lack of critical thinking skills, and misdirection attempts by agenda driven individuals who purposely lead us off course. The combination of these things easily leads 99% of us off course.

Almost forgot, another great example are Secret Societies.

We as a community will devote way too much focus to one single group, for instance the Masons or Bilderburgers.

Meanwhile groups like the Pilgrim Society, Wolf's Head, or Scroll and Key go completely unnoticed and hardly ever mentioned in relation to anything.

These are clear indications of the fact we are being mislead.

I will concede that slowly over time, these other less known subjects become more popular for discussion.

For example the Jesuits. They are unknown by 99% of the population, but information and theories about them are slowly but surely spreading throughout the community (over periods of years).

So yes there are gains being made but it's baby steps. Slow going.

That I agree with. Now while it isn't exactly evidence, I did find out a friend of mine was a Mason and he pretty much debunked all the theories about the group in one conversation through his own experiences. This is a guy who is completely open with people yet related a theory on why the Masons are seen as a secret society with strange occult behaviour and why the Roman Catholics may have created that myth about them (although right now I honestly can't remembernything he said about that)

The REAL deal societies as Skyfloating stated are probably those who have never been heard of or discussed while we point fingers at innocent groups like the Masons as being part of an Illuminati conspiracy

So every year 9 million people die off without any reason short of a lack of food in there area. That is really pretty shocking but I don't think it is a conspiracy as much as poor planning by other nations that do not have as many natural resources as the rest of the world does. You seem sincere about changing it so why not look into starting a charity to remind people about this. I think that would be a great way for you to change the world. I always look to the root cause of a problem and in this case I think it is that people just are not aware of it.

Good thread, and I'm glad you pointed this out, because I never thought of it like that.

How short-sighted are we, that there are so many people suffering and starving in this world, and we squabble over our keyboards about The Fed, 911, etc etc.

I'm not saying that our curiousity into these topics are not justified, I just think the OP is on target when saying we focus on these popular conspiracy topics so much, that maybe it's a distraction to the real conspiracies.

The world wouldn't be the way it is unless someone wanted it that way. We're just trying to work out exactly what those people/souls ultimately want or are destined for, who/what they are and if/how we can change it for the better. Surely that must be tackled first before any international problems can be solved. I think we can make a start at home, improving the lives of people in our vicinity but that's all that can really be done until everybody notices the elephant in the living room.

Everything that rings true on this site is all part of the same colossal turd.

And I for one want to see how big it is and how far it goes round the bend before it's flushed.

I think you are lowballing the awareness, and sensitivity of those here.
I think its actually a little arrogant of you to moralise just what we do or dont speak about here...you can be that voice if you wish to post starvation threads, and every other depradation under the sun threads...
How about more threads on child trafficking?Slave traffick in the modern world?Afghan predeliction for sex with young boys.?How about forced prostitution? The various hundreds of different regimes who commonly torture and rape and kill to intimidate the peoeple/
There are many many horrors to focus on, if i wanted to cover them all here, it would be wise to get started because its a lifes work.
You mean to say you dont feel the pressure of all this misery pressing down on yer head like the force of gravity?
Do you honestly munch your regular meals without thinking of others who have none to eat?
Jeebus, i used to like to buy those little fishing boats that they sold in the dollar store for less than a buck.....they were all handmade little fishing smacks painyted gaily and rigged out in all kinds of fanciful net arrangements...only about four inches long or so.....
Then somebody spoiled all my innocent fun by informing me that they were produced by children who were forced tpo work under inhumane conditions in hong kong sweat shops and worse.
Sooo i stopped buying these whimsicallities....
Till someone else informed me that if they couldnt sell these puny little boats, and the other cheap goods, that these people would then probably have NO standard of living at all.....
What do you suggest i do?
Living in this country of plenty is not a crime, and it is all anyone can do to ease the suffering that they can when they can wherever they are...
Remember every bite of food you eat, comes directly from the mouth of a dying child.....

Well, there's a very wise saying that will help all in life; "know thy audience." I've heard it said already, but this is a conspiracy site. This is where people come to discuss 9/11, UFOs & the NWO.

Now then, I completely agree that we need to keep the suffering of our fellow humans in mind, but I think that the people on this site feel that the true perpetrators of 9/11, those individuals which compose the NWO and the like are also the people that are causing this suffering that you're speaking about. So, we come here to discuss these things in the hopes that our discoveries and disclosures will be us closer to a truth which will lead to a better world.

I don't doubt for one second that most people on here hope for a better world that is rid of the suffering to which you refer, but all problems contain many solutions, and sometimes those solutions work together to formulate the overall fix. This site represents one thread or tangent of that overall solution.

Peace...

If hyou read anything on this site, you will see that we are pretty convinced that the earthquake in Haiti was caused by a massive facility in Alaska known as HAARP. The Cholera outbreak in Haiti was brought there deliberately, to sicken the people, and reduce the population.
The people in the third world are left to suffer in yet another move to depopulate the world.
The troubles in North Korea are staged... and staged poorly. Yes, some may suffer there. That's a direct result of poor governing. The nuke threat is just that, a THREAT. Nothing will ever happen in regards to that.

Yes, 9/11 was an inside job. We've accepted that. Yes the banks are corrupt. We've accepted that too.
People die everyday from starvation. The reason they aren't being fed is the same reason the people in North Korea aren't being fed. To depopulate the world!
As for healthcare: The majority of sicknesses out there that people die from are curable. there is much more money in TREATMENT, than in cures. If people can't afford to pay for the needed treatments, then THEY just let the poor die.

If you have paid attention to what people on this site, and others like this write about, you would understand we all KNOW that the atrocities around the world, Rwanda, East Timor, and others are orchestrated by The Illuminati. Everything that happens on this planet is controlled by a small number of people. Nothing happens by chance or coincidence any more.

So, next time, before you start bitching about what people talk about on conspiracy forums like ATS, you should really sit back, and look at what people like us talk about.
