I'm not directing this at anyone specific on this thread, but since this "staff member theory" seems to be the latest speculation...

Far be it from me to tell anyone what to say, but it would be wise to tread carefully around the topic of this shooting. It's fun to speculate, but what happened was a tragedy, and certainly not fun. It seems clear that investigators are looking for clues on the internet, and they probably don't need our help finding them.

Before we accuse anyone of anything, we ought to be aware of what we're saying and who we may be unfairly implicating in this crime. Unless someone knows something for sure, this is all speculation, and if someone actually DOES know something, the police will find it much more useful than a forum full of random internet users.

Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to connect the dots regarding the youtube account. It would be prudent to check out a possible connection, that is pretty obvious. Also obvious is that we really cannot prove a connection, but suspicions are legal.

Interesting about the bird ... when googling "what is conscious dreaming" I came up with this book on Amazon, with an interesting bird on the cover. Related? Did he read it?

Something I've been tossing around in my mind....

In all of his videos, he never speaks. In the flag burning vid, he added text, but still no voice whatsoever. All the other videos are nothing except text, and a couple of crude diagrams. The latest I've heard, he still has said nothing to authorities.

Having viewed all the videos from the two youtube accounts, he certainly seems to have a lot he wants to "say", so it seems a bit odd that he doesn't speak in any of his vids. One of his vids makes a claim that the police escorted him from the Pima Community College campus for "talking"...which would give the further impression that he likes to talk. So why the silence? Anyone have any ideas?

Like that poor other fellow that they were looking for. He has now been completely cleared, but earlier today, Fox news was speculating on all the different ways that he might have helped the shooter. They're famous for making someone guilty before any evidence.

And here he is, innocent, but people are still wondering about his involvement.

I don't know. They haven't said why he was invited to the gathering, or even why he was in contact with them in 2007. They said he was turned down for the army, kicked out of college because of his ramblings, but not much else.
I would think if he was in contact with them, there might have been something (laws ? rules?) he wanted changed, but what I can't even guess.
Apparently no one saw this coming, not even his friends who they've been interviewing, according to the news.

The stuff about not being afraid of the stars, and about the birds, I don't know. I'm stumped. Did he know something, or think he knew something?

I find it strange that he was able to kill and wound so many before being stopped, but then everyone would have been in shock and panic.

Just 1 problem, he types conscience dreaming on his youtube page. Either he's dumb and doesn't know the difference between conscious and conscience, made a typo, or he meant something else which could have been possible in his world. But that bird on the cover may tie into his weird metaphor.

Oh I should be clear - I mean I think they are always here in a "sniff" capacity, as in words, word groups and possilby topics areas, but I don't think someone sits all day and this is their job. I think some come home at night and mess around to see if people are blogging about what they might know. But phones, the net - they are all "sniffed" and this site might get hits just due to the basic nature of the threads. I think they sniff the posts at the bottom of certain news stories for vitrol too. The ears are always listening.

I think Loughner seems like the perfect fallguy, dont you?

Either he's dumb and doesn't know the difference between conscious and conscience,..... i was thinking at first it was a typo (there are some typos on the flag burning video) but then i remembered the post a few pages back about brainwashing (patty hearst) and how they keep you awake for so many hours so that you are dreaming while awake-- that would be different than the lucid (conscious) dreaming-- interesting

As someone who just joined in this discussion today----here is a fresh opinion on what has been written so far:

#1---Jared Lee was//is an ATS member who went by the name of Erad3.

#2---He wrote posts about the Space Shuttle----and how they were launched into space EMPTY.

#3--Jared shot the wife of a Space Shuttle astronaut and pilot.

#4--I think this is very important information and might show motive.

Hi I'm the lady I'm MD that saw a lot of interesting birds in my town. They are just some type of eagle type birds that, like deer and bears, seem to have gotten the hang of thriving in the suburbs. This is a really huge thread and I'm lost. What had my much quoted post have to do with that horrible tragedy in Arizona? The birds I see aren't weird. They are unusual for the area, but not some shocking new species from what I can see. If the darn things would come down closer and stand still a minute I could snap a pic and look them up and my guess is I'll find out they are some sort of falcon or eagle. They are dark colored, I can't tell if they have a brown tinge because they stay up high when peole are out and about. We see them either soaring or stopping to rest a short time on very high treetops. Mostly under those circumstances we just see a silouhette of them. Other than being where we were never used to seeing an eagle type of bird, they act normal, just soaring and occasionally swooping. They seem to be here to stay...they aren't migrating. They found something to sustain them, possibly rats. I heard a couple of years ago that rats were making their presence known in the county.
