Why didn't he turn the gun on himself afterward? He didn't kill himself in the end, though it certainly sounded like that was the plan.
Wasn't he tackled to the ground before he could hurt anyone else or himself? I think they said he ran out of ammo and was tackled by a person of Mrs. Giffords' staff.
There is a town just across the border, a straight shot south of Tuscon, called Heroica Nogales. Could this be the HN?

You know what that reminds me of? Kip Kinkel, the boy who went on a rampage at Thurston High, had taped bullets to his chest to make sure he had enough ammo to kill himself, but he was also tackled and failed to commit suicide in the end.edit on 9-1-2011 by Casandra because: (no reason given)

This whole thread is interesting enough but it is like a group of people obsessed with explaining the action's of an schizophrenic.

This is definitely a symptom of a broken sick society. I do not agree at all with what this man did but I could sense in him an urgency, he was stressed severely. Somewhere I read he was in the miltary, maybe he knows some inside information.
The fact that senator Wheeler was found dead recently and this is not very strange. I am not saying the two are connected but it is a further symptom of people's discontent with their own government. This also shows you how corrupt our government really is.edit on 9-1-2011 by dreamseeker because: (no reason given)

starhitshnaz, has anyone considered it could be a typo, and was meant to read star hits in az?
Also, I too believe the account erad3 might be the shooter. The screen name chosen lends credence to this theory. One, minus the J, all the other letters of his first name are used. Two, read backwards, it reads triple dare.
This has been a very interesting thread! It is just a matter of time before the spooks come knocking over the kid's account here, if it is indeed his.
