That said, and given the "strange times" we seem to be living in, it make me a little bit wary when I hear of a politician (or other public figure) surviving a "head wound".

Especially a serious head wound, say one that might be considered "mortal".

Looking at his videos and then learning he shot a 9 year old girls says

EPIC FAIL!

Did he just run up in to Safeway with his eyes closed shooting blind? I mean how do you go to all the trouble to assassinate some politicians on some grandiose vigilante here to save you all then.... shoot a child? Had he not shot the child he might actually have some sympathy or gain potential pen pals while in prison. Something just does not seem right, MKULTRA comes to mind... the very mind con troll he speaks of. Maybe that was the point, to make it appear that he was under mind control and shooting the child would ruin any credence to what he preached of before this. I don't know, he seemed pretty bright yet managed to shoot a 9 year old on the most important day of his life.

Then again he was probably after all just a psychotic trying to find a reason to kill, this would justify his impulses. He may have blacked out from the adrenaline rush and tried to shoot everything that moved. Like when you get in to a fight, you just end up swinging without even thinking. None the less this gives the PTB another lame excuse for gun control. The guy had all the signs, boasted about his plans out in the open a cry for help? Yet the NSA who monitors these things, homeland security turned on def ears?

Head shots are weird. It is not uncommon for a round to go straight through a skull, and the victim survive. And sometimes the round will go in, hit the other side and circle the inner circumference of the skull several times, like a BB in a bottle. Like I said, weird.

What is key is what damage was done to the brain. It will determine what is affected (speech, movement, etc.). That and bleeding and swelling.

She was speaking before and after surgery, which are excellent signs.

I am more interested at the moment to find out if there are hidden messeges in his videos. Not much to go on since everything is being wiped down. What do we know?

He is educated.

He has a thing against illiteracy

His video seems to talk alot of the philosophy about being a source of information, that inturn, makes a person "the source" or authority to change the knowledge of past true history?

He had beef with possible new currency

He was obviously obsessed with states of the mind and how people perceive and think.

And his favorite activity was conscience dreaming

Until we get confirmation of how exactly the child was shot. I go for "clean through". Calibers like 9mm NATO(Or 5mm hi-vel rounds) will often go clean through when close enough. The person behind the "clean through" will, however get the tumbling bullet slammed into him/her, with horrific internal damage that even a dum-dum isn't capable of inflicting. That's the biggest killer if people start balling away in a crowded place, close quarter. It's the same reason why simple .22's can be so bloody deadly up-close. They enter and start tumbling ,ripping tissue apart.

Not sure about the Glock though. My experience is limited to 1911 .45 ACP, FN GP and Walther P5 (known for it's crappy stopping power. It goes clean through, and was/is more dangerous for those around. Later ammo seems to have fixed that)

The problem with that is this is not the final straw. The system can be reverted back by the will of the people. The only thing lacking is the education of the people. Educate the ones around you and hope they do the same under the light of the truth. No violence necessary.

Yeah I agree. But it doesn't give someone the right to kill a nine year old girl, and things have hardly gotten to the point where the 2nd is needed by the citizenry to right the wrongs.

That is a high probability, if i got a bullet in me after passing through someone else "using my fat to slow down said bullet" my chances of surviving are greater than a small child. Most 9 year olds are thin and petite. Would not take much to cause fatal damage. Still though i would love to be locked in a room with that guy for a good 10-20 minutes

Jared Loughner also claimed to be a United States recruit at MEPS in Phoenix. If that's true, it's possible that he's an CIA/NSA or black ops agent.

Extremely suspicious that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot through-and-through her head and yet survived.

While some of us are looking for political fodder in this...This may indeed turn out to be a hit by one of the cartels to send a message to AZ and to Washington.

I don't think this was a hit by Obama's people. Honestly I find that assertion ridiculous. But a drug cartel or a politically motivated nutjob...Sure.

That was my initial thoughts as well.

Good god this is awful. Our world is a sad place.

If this happened to be a cartel hit, we can expect war with northern mexico. If it's a political nutjob, then we can expect further oppressive laws for the citizens. Either way, everyone loses. And those people's family's lost a lot. Really I feel for them.

I do not understand a lot of things and I do not consider myself a smart man. But I just got done watching Inglorious Bastards turned on the news and this popped up. I do not know if it was just a bit of Pitts character rubbing off on me or what but I had an emotional response to this news. It hit me like a ton of bricks and I wanted to pound my head against the wall. I guess I just put myself in the families of those who lost people on this day. Like the father of the nine year old girl that was killed. How would I feel if that was my daughter, or my wife who was shot in the head by a fool. When did it get to the point in this country that we have to use a gun to solve political, economic, and racial differences? It makes no sense to me and this senseless act made me think a little bit about myself. I usually watch the news and yell at the tv that is a loud of crap, but the only thing I found myself yelling was things I could not mention here. I have never had that kind of response before. I hope that all the families can get peace in the long run, and that we all take a good hard look at ourselves and wonder what we can change.

Sorry for the holy wall of text batman but I had to get it off my chest.
