It doesnt matter bro, with all the evidence there, and analyzing the photos, we can tell that its fake.

Youve tripped up many times in your story.........first saying you dont even have photoshop

then admitting to using it......

etc , etc.......

I dont know why people insist on doing this....maybe to make us look like idiots, maybe to try and fool everyone and some sort of self gratification......

HOWEVER, this is good..........this keeps ATS on its toes and objective....every once in a while you have to have something to keep you on track

I'm not sure why it's saying what it is. All I know is that I've uploaded the originals, and thats it. You wanna ban me that's fine. I should have never even created an account. I was perfectly fine just reading threads without an account. No big deal. I can't believe HALF of the stuff I see on this site anymore, and that some of the people who put it up are still making threads. Oh well I guess. You guys on here are WAY to militant about stuff like this. You act as if your going to go out and take someone's life over some ufo photo..

Your right, I agree that if you are goign to post bogus things on here, you probably were better just reading and lurking....

Here's the deal. Like Manbehindthemask said - basically, every UFO pic that shows up here MUST be scrutinized. That's just how it is, and that's how it should be.

EXIF data is metadata - data that's attached to every digital picture these days. It records history; it records essential info about a pic.

But I don't even know why I am explaining this to you. You purposely perpetuated a hoax. The data doesn't lie - like I said before - bits and bytes don't lie.

You knew exactly what you were doing.

The mods might want to think about stickying this thread somewhere, partially as a warning to future hoaxers but more so as a teaching guide how to handle this type of thing. I'll be honest everything I know about exif data I've learned from ATS. I think this thread could be used as a great learning tool, well done everyone.

and by the way the reason i screamed hoax from the begining, was not because it was too good to be true, but simply because that clearly looked like something the size of a trash can lid or a shoebox, pasted onto photoshop, no ifs or buts

We used to out folks on a paranormal board I belonged to several yrs ago. People come in all ready with a story and manipulated pics... Its been pretty common to look at exif and other data with photographic "evidence" for quite some time and Im shocked that its still being attempted.

Its nice to know that if someone did have actual photos of aliens, lochness or jesus and didnt know a thing about this exif data thingy and already deleted and or copied over their sd card, placed it in photoshop to resize/rescale saturate/desaturate or even watermark, that they would be ridiculed and then banned from here

We all knew it was a hoax, but just as the OP has to have evidence proving it real, ATS has to have evidence proving it a hoax.

Otherwise, this wouldn't be a very reasonable or trustworthy site, would it? It works both ways for very good reason!

I vote we all go back to polaroids.. at least they were difficult to debunk.
