The article goes into how the family is frustrated with the lack of progress and law enforcement not telling them what is going, ie for example they learned the cause of death through the media.

What I did find interesting is that 1. his wife says he was bipolar and on lithium and 2. after the murder the wife's credit card was stolen and a $3000 ticket from NYC to Madrid was purchased. Now it could be unrelated as the article states John did not carry his wife's card on him. However, we do know that someone was hanging around the house, so....... I wouldn't disregard it either.

Probably in the following millisecond realised he had no money anyway, so leant on it for a second and then walked on?
( I'd assume with all the wondering around he did over the day, he didn't eat or drink much? So it is feasible he could've been hungry or thirsty or both)

And just to add, it is possible that Wheeler was on medication which is why could have gone to the chemist. And realised that he had no money so asked for a lift instead.
And as for the hotel, if he knew he was in danger or someone was after him, going home if alone would be the last thing he would want to do.
He also could have spent all of his money on the hotel bill which is why he no money for the chemist OR for the vending machine?
Just a thought.......

He was found with over $100 on him, so I'm sure he could have gotten change from the lady behind the counter if he was really hungry/thirsty.

But, I'm not 100% sure on this any way, I don't think those are vending machines. I think they are the automated ticket things for the parking garage. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in some article or newscast but I can't seem to find it at the moment.

my grandfatehr had alzhemers, and one morning went wandering off half consisouly in a cold moring and passed out in the middle of the street..so i guess it could be possible..but landfills were used by the MOB for body disposal for many many decades* cant imagine the CIA being that sloppy and lazy..

He didn't just get to the landfill by himself. The people emptying the dump truck noticed his body coming out of the truck, so he had been tossed, or fell, into a trash bin somewhere along the driver's route.

In a new development that's raising even more questions, a local TV station is reporting that Wheeler's cell phone was found inside that home.

I find it interesting that he didn't have his phone on him... perhaps worried about GPS?

Then theres the missing frames...these aree impotant maybe for reflections or other clues they may contain.The fact they are missing is a marker or red herring, whichever side you take...
Its too early for any consprators to have gotten to all the media coverage and edited them....plus maybe more to come as well....
You can be sure that local store managers and security people are reviewing their own tapes for more evidence.

Probably the occupant of Wheelers home was sent there with the purpose of denying access to wheeler himself.
There is no reason Wheeler couldnt have been playing a deeper game than what his public persona indicated.
It definately looks like whomever was playing a cat and mouse game with our victim.
You dont suppose that before they bumped him off, they first were trying to convince Wheeler to co operate with some agenda, which he was deeply opposed to?
The man was in a position to learn any number of deep black secrets which could be devastating to some.....
Ill be pondering this damn brain teaser all day at work now....

This is something I have not thought of. Kind of along the same lines, if he was there to meet with someone, maybe the meet itself was a setup, and he was told to use the shoe identifier for the fact that it might make him look crazy, this would also explain the shadow staying out of sight, maybe this person knew where the cameras were, because he set up the meet.

My first thought was not that he was looking for change, but that he was looking for something someone was supposed to leave for him...it wasn't there, and that's why he looks out the door and throws up his arms like "what do I do now!".....I think POSSIBLY someone was supposed to "help" him, and whoever it was never showed up. Someone else was following him, and he knew if he didn't find what/who he was searching for, he was doomed. It just seemed as though he was looking for help of some kind or someone. I was thinking the same thing, perhaps looking for some kind of message or something from the person he was meeting.

Overall this is a very odd, and obviously sad story, regardless of if there is any conspiracy involved. But the whole case just seems strange. I usually don't go off thinking up wild stories, but there are just so many that pop out when going over all the information.

If anyone has ever watched a show on AMC, I think only the first season has been out so far, called Rubicon, the story kind of parallels what we THINK is going on here. A connected guy is going to expose something, or otherwise becomes a threat, gets killed, and little odd facts pop up here and there that the main character follows until he figures out what is going on. I won't ruin the season finale, but it's pretty much what the standard government craziness conspiracy is.

Good to see this thread has been bumped as I often wonder what's going on with the Wheeler case.
It seems however, its not much further along than it was before.
Thanks for that info about him having money on him. I guess that puts my theory to rest.

Thank you Stealthy Kat on your OP. And yet, after months have gone by, we have only learned that John Wheeler, and American Hero, deeply involved in National Security Operations and secrets died from a 'blunt' force according to autopsy reports. Then, this prolific man is dumped in a dumpster and found the next morning, undoubtably for the purpose of saying "if anyone else in the know, attempts to release information that the public should never know about.....like the release of deadly gases or HAARP's real devasting affects to climate and the public" this is what will happen to you.

The Police and Federal Investigators cannot determine what happened. The Widow is obviously terrible hurt and feeling vulnerable and is just pushed aside with no answers. No discussion about a hero's funeral??

So now the death of Ashley Turton, a Lobbyist for Progress Energy, which also has expertise in Climate control, and research about government actions causing devastating climate changes. The link says it all, especially at the end of the article: "Homicide detectives were called to the scene, so there is the suspicion on the part of D.C. police that things aren’t what they seem to be. Even so, their theory is that the car crashed into the garage and ignited, which raises all of the above questions and any others that might develop."

No new developments, no more comments, just be quiet and it will all go away, the public is to busy watching American Idol. No offense intended, just a possibility.

So as of now, we have two prominent citizens, one a recognized hero in Wheeler via his bio publised earlier in this thread and now the very suspicious death of a Lobbyiest that may have known to much about what our government is doing to affect the climate by releasing deadly chemicals and the use of HAARP that has killed millions of fish, birds, whales off the coast of Scotland and the list goes on.

Yet our Mass Media does no investigation? Why? Where are the courageous Woodward's & Bernstein's of the Watergate fame? Is the Mass Media totally owned by the government? No more 'Deep Throats". The absence of any research into these seemingly unrelated deaths but, if you scrape the surface just a little, there is a connection. Their deaths left openingly to be seen to be shown what will happen if you decide to reveal any details of the secrets? Farfetched, a stretch, maybe, I just don't have access to investigate further, however, I think it is fair to say, these two deaths/murders are very strange and the timing also very suspicious. What do you think?

I think it is extremely suspicious. Since the BP Oil fiasco, people have been dropping like flies....I really believe that all of these deaths tie in together somehow. Have you been following the reports of the loud rumbling/roaring noise people have been reporting? All over the world really.....when those birds fell from the sky in Arkansas, the first thing that was said was that they appear to have been affected by "fireworks" or a loud noise, which startled them and sent them flying wildly into homes and the ground. I think this loud roar people are hearing is some type of new weapon being tested. Wheeler was in that line of work. It seems that very prominent people are suddenly dying in bizarre ways....you're right about that. As far as the MSM....don't you just love the way stories just "disappear"? Just like the radiation from the Fukishima plants....BIG NEWS! Then it's suddenly like it never happened......just like these deaths.Not a word.....

Very interesting article. It backs up your initial OP of Wheeler's death related to his possible releasing damning information of releasing the deadly chemical Phosgene.

Look at this link and its subsequent follow-on's from YouTube. Bottom line, extremely suspicious death, and no further information on who committed this murder. How can the MSM just let this story drop?

Here is a report on the Death of Lobbyist Ashley Turton's who worked in the same field of expertise that would know about Phosgene and what the government was doing. They have called this an accident, but just a little more reading and you know it sounds so implausible. What do you think? Thanks StealthyKat for keeping this thread alive.
