One of the mummies was 6ft6 tall, red hair, white skin and blue/green eyes... They said he had "European features" not Indian features!! You trying to say those mummies are Indian, obviously an expert

The red hair and the connection to pyramid structures is quite interesting!

Reading through this thread I couldn't help notice a lot of people throwing around the term "racist", using the term as an obvious insult....

I am of the opinion that we are all racist. Most people wont admit this publicly or even to themselves. Most likely some (most) of you will try and give me grief for saying so. I'll go ahead and let you know - I think you're a liar.

Speaking for the male gender, I also think most of us believe we are superior to women at least in some ways. More people may admit to agreeing with me with regards to gender. That's not to say that I feel males are superior in every way when compared to females nor that any "race" is superior to another in every aspect.

We use the term racist far too much in discussions "playing the race card" if you will. I don't hate anyone for the color of their skin or their gender, but following the logic of most I would definitely be called a racist and I'm ok with that.

Sorry, I realize this doesn't have anything to do with the post but I grow tired of everybody calling everybody else a racist when from my point of view we all are.

You are entitled to your opinion. But it is a fact people who believe they are superior to others based on race are racist. Just like thinking one gender is superior is sexist. It's ignorant since science says differently. So while I respect your opinion it is different than something science can prove.

Oh I forgot you were on the expedition. Or was it a YouTube video. It's amazing how well blue eyes hold up in mummies seeing as organs are taken out in the mummification process. Unless these are extra special mummies.

I believe the Biblical account to this question is by far more accurate than countless scientific theories and speculations from hirelings who attend these high education temples.
According to the Bible there are 3 human races with very distinct attributes, appearance and personalities as clearly seen today. In Genesis chapter 9, in the following verses we have their origin:

25. And he said (God), Cursed be Canaan (Ham's child); a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

Which has been proven true for thousands of years as this is the father of the black race.

26 And he said (God), Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Which is also true as Shem is the father of the Semitic race, where we get the term "anti-Semitic" for hating Jews. Since Arabians are the first to begin slavery practices (check out Genesis 37:25-28) and not the "white race" as so commonly and happily believed with no proof, and Arabians are also Semitics just as most "Arabs" are that live in and around Canaan land, not the roman empire name, "Palestine".

27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Here is the biggie, Japheth is the father of the "white race" and just as the sun will rise tomorrow, this Bible prophecy also comes true with the white race dwelling in the tents of Shem. (The native American Indians is one case) Another case is the almost relentless occupation (dwelling) of the Middle East lands for the past 1500 years, including today with the false war on terror.

Don't let hirelings fool you with this lie of skin pigment from living near the equator. What a foolish and ignorant assumption based on less evidence than evolution! Why are eskimos so dark skinned then? They are Semitic too by the way.

No i don't. I know you don't know me so nice try. The women I served with in Iraq the women I in indigenous culture they could probably take a majority of the male youth of today. If you look at science studies in athletics women catching up rapidly in our culture (sprinting basketball etc). Years of social opression have caused a larger than normal difference. But yes you are right. That is different again from spouting things tha are not scientifically true. Blacks are certainly not more athletic than whites. I think you should watch the olympics and than get back to me.

You say studies show women are "catching up" - Hmmm...there's the proof in your own words. If women are catching up that must mean they're behind. Nice to see that we agree!

Really? Kind of ridiculous on your part. Evolution of human beings is a unique situation. It has been proven that social, as well as environmental impact has an effect on human beings. For instance the brain is physically shaped by the environment you grow up in. Sexism is asserting one sex is better than another in a discriminating way. Social situations have kept women from playing professional sports for instance until recently. The discrimination that started in childhood kept women from practicing sports in the same way as males.
Sexism also includes a general supremacy or all encompassing supremacy not specific technical details.
Men are just plain better than women is sexist. Or whites are a superior race is racist.

Saying things without any basis of truth is also a trap which leads to racism. Saying for instance people from Ghana are less intelligent that people from America cultural bias but not racist. Racism is blacks are not as smart as whites is racist. For instance the very skewed iq test that was brought up earlier noted that richer technological places have higher iqs. A member confused that with blacks are not as intelligent as whites. However the study did not say which Americans were tested or which British people were tested. They could have been black. Also proof of enviornment and the ability to understand and have practice with a test like the iq test has a massive impact on the results.

For instance you could use that test against black Americans and black people from a tribe in Africa and compare the differences in iq. You would get the Americans having a higher iq because they are used to taking those kinds of tests.

Anyhow I think perhaps you don't understand racism. You should read the history of racism it's a relatively new phenomenon , usually bias is based on religion or region rather than an arbitrary skin tone.

Semetics are not a racial group. It's a language group. The ethnic group is Afro-Asiatic

I don't know where you got the notion there are three racial groups but it's far more complicated.

Inuit are from the mongoloid ethnic group.

Have you read the article? Are you saying these mummies from 1800 b.c. Are from Atlantis? It is well known that siberian transit of humans both mongoloid and Caucasoid have happened in that era. The controversy is over Chinese nationalism not some great mystery. That's why Nissim is a quack. Look at a map read some anthropology most of the mummies were mongoloid and there were cuacasoids as well. Siberia has always been home to some caucasoids. It has been known for a long time.

Actually, it doesn't matter what I think. You made a straightforward statement of fact, and I'd like to know where that fact came from. You'll note that we here have the opportunity to float all kinds of ideas, but we also need to be prepared to back them up. So...just curious where your data is coming from.

Please, every day science is changing and finding out "some new discovery!" that proves the previous "discoveries" wrong! Its sad really, the blind faith people put in science, which in turn, are just other people!!! Just look at some of the recent posts on ATS for a quick example of science recently changing as well as origin theories. Man trusting in man for hope. Read: 1 Corinthians 15:19

Secondly, I was not talking about ethnic groups, I said "race" and meant it. There is not one race called the human race, there are three. Each look different, smell different, have vastly different cultures, songs, food, and religions. Trust something that never changes, like the Holy Bible, not science that is slowly trying to "catch up" to the Bibles revelations.

Sorry but superstitions don't sway me. Your bible is an almost identical replica of the Sumerian zorastrianism. Which came far before your abrahamic religion. As did Hinduism. You are confusing the fact there is truth to the deluge etc. Every religion has such a story. I grew up with Jesuit teachings. They taught me to be open and that science does not refute god.
