Difference being, mostly they are not innocent people. Anyone can kill. What makes a killer good or bad? If he kills an innocent man or a soldier. Either way he's evil. But it is simply common sense that killing civilians is bad. Killing soldiers is good.

Also I do love how you so blatantly generalize Israel and the US. The US stopped caring about Israel when the depression happened and more or less total Israel to STFU and stop being dumb. Since then, they've complied.


Anywho, the fact remains. The tally of Civilians killed is in favor if Islam throughout the ages. But lets forget about the ages and focus on modern day. Of course neither can beat China, but lets keep selective. Islam kills civilians more often than Christianity. And now lets go national. Not all Christians are Americans. Another generalization you made. America kills civilians. Islamic nations kill civilians. That is a fact. Leaders don't care for the little people. Now, lets take another tally. What's the probability a Christian will resist orders that kill civilians? Higher than a Muslims. Seeing as if Islamic citizens do not comply in bombing, they and theirs are shot dead as well.

I think labeling someone as an extremist or terrorist just because they are Islamic is WRONG. Now i do believe that Groups of Islams ( especially in the motherland) can be and are extremists. Now i'm not very well learned in Islam but i do believe that a majority of the religion are what we say they are. But a minority of them are good people that do not agree with the extremists!

Either way i could never follow a religion that teaches violence, and although i'm not sure why some people insist to do so, and also try to make excuses for their extreme religion, i will respect their right to believe in god any way they want to...as long as they aren't living in hate!

I hope that made sense...this isn't one of my better topics. Feel free to correct me.

As much as death penalty for leaving Islam is bad, mass killing innocent civilians in suicide bombings in the name of Islam is order of magnitude worse, so I am not surprised this gets rejected by majority even in such fundamentalist society (especially when they can bend the definition of "civilian" as they please, considering for example pro-western government police conscripts as collaborants and therefore valid non-civilian targets in the war of Jihad).

If asked about the Tea Party movement, there will be a marked difference in opinions between a list of registered Republicans as opposed to a list of registered Democrats.

Were the people polled leaving a religious rally or place of worship? Were they on a University campus (doubtful as only 6.3% of the population is college educated) or leaving an office building dressed in a business suit? Were they literate (able to read and write), was the poll conducted in English as opposed to the country's native language? According to the wikipedia entry, the literacy rate in Pakistan is as low as 7% in some parts of the country with only 11% speaking English... Did they walk up to random people on the street? Was it done by phone (as they are here in America, again doubtful as many of these places are tribal in nature and do not have an infrastructure).

We arent even told how many people were polled. 10, 20, a 100, a 1000...I mean...

With regards to your media buzz word filled premise ("Jihad, fundamentalist"), I'll let you ponder that on your own.

Have you actually seen and met these muslims you claim are calling for violence? I deal with a lot of muslims at my work, most from Saudi Arabia, have become friends with a few of them and they have been some of the nicest most pleasant people I have come into contact with.

I don't doubt there are extremists in Islam as there are in any religion or culture. The muslim one's just seem to be getting all the press since 911. Don't really ever see anything about Christian or catholic priests of Africa calling for the deaths of homosexuals etc.

That is a little suspicious. I hope you are right. On the other hand, I think religious indoctrination is capable of brainwashing uneducated population to achieve that number.

As I already said, this proves absolutely nothing. Number of people actually going to protests will always be much different than number of people that support the law. Statistics simply dont work that way.

This is also a non-issue. Death penalty for leaving islam is not extreme in these peoples view. It is the right thing to do. Killing innocent people is wrong for them, but those leaving islam are not innocent for them.

Al-quaeda, hamas and hezbollah kill innocent people, thats why their support is low, in accordance with the poll results.

There is no possible way to determine if the poll is "rigged" or even biased. Any credible poll lists its methodology and the specific questions. As far as I can tell, neither is provided.

I just want an admission of truth from the islamic apologists. "The majority of muslims do not believe in peaceful coexistence with anybody except other muslims and maybe dhimmis."
