I am 25 years old and I "woke up" completely by chance.

I was searching for something (forget what) and stumbled across a link to an ATS thread on google about star gates in Iraq.

From that moment on I have been interested in all kinds of out of the ordinary discussion. This was about 4 years ago.

The star gate thread is in my top threads on my profile if you want to check it out

Well I'm 18.

As for the question - when did I woke up...
Well when did I get into UFO's, Conspiracy and so on... It was when I was about 13 or 14 years old.
At first I was like oh... wow conspiracies all around us. I need inform everyone and so on.
But now recently I woke up 2nd time... Even if there is some conspiracies out there, even if UFO's exist and so on. It doesn't really change my life. And I shouldn't allow it to change it.
Though what I can do instead of discussing conspiracies and UFO's I can change a world into better place starting with myself - then building from that.

There's no time to waste concerning who gets more money, who worships Satan and who speaks with aliens.
Positive thinking - direct action!
Political activities, social work, volunteering... and so on. We need to focus our energy on that.
We make change by actually doing something not by talking all day long about what has to be done.
Because to face the truth - most of the people even if they know the truth that they re being messed by government, corporations - won't do anything about it but wine on the internet how bad and unfair life is.

Happy new year, ATS!

28 and grew up with my grandfather, who has now passed away, telling me stories of ufo cover ups and the Illuminati. Never really got "into it" tho until after 9/11 and the b.s. story they tried to sell on how it happened

I'm 28 and my life has been filled with mind altering experiences.

However Only when I actively started a search for a goal in my life, a reason to be...
I finally learned why I always felt like things did not go as they taught me the should.

I didn't woke up actually... it is more like every once in a while the jigsaw i find was the one missing that causes me to suddenly understand what I couldn't give a spot before. These revelations still happen to me and must say, I enjoy it. Cause I know I'm still going forward.

I'm 17,

Not claiming to be "Awake"

But that's the reason I'm here, to be awakened by the like minded people out there who can teach a dumb teen like me to see through the worlds BS. So yeah, that's why I'm here, and will continue to be so for as long as this website exists ;-)

After my sister said "read this" and gave me the book "Chariots of the Gods" when I was 18. Than when I was in college, I did a research paper on the Roswell Crash and that kind of sealed it for me.

Late thirties; I'd say the beginning of the 'hmm' moment was in 1979, whilst waiting in a gas line, listening to my father gripe about the Toyota Corolla we were now driving, OPEC, oil, politics and how much things cost. "It's not that hard to connect the dots if peopel just look," I can still remember him saying. My child mind said 'Hey, I like connect the dots! They make a picture when you finish."

I've been 'connecting the dots' ever since.

I'm 23

as for awake, how can that truly be defined one mans awake is another mans coma.

both my parents and my grandma were into odd things when I was little, I always questioned the status quo and hated authority and any system I was forced into.

Now my grandma's dead, my mum is insane and my dad buries his head in the sand so I guess I'm the last of my family that still thinks. The few other people in my family have always just buried their heads and pretended the world isn't a big bad place.

ya got to lol or you'd cry

I was pretty young, sometime in my kid/teen era. I attribute it to my influential open minded parents and grandparents. I woke up to posting on ATS in my mid 20s
