Again what can you provide to the debate "The arrogance of the atheists" other than irrelevant biblical quotations?
Athiests are (as in a position regardless of the spewings) arrogant, no debate
Concerning atheism and mass murder..It has been estimated that in less than the past 100 years, governments under the banner of communism have caused the death of somewhere between 40,472,000 to 259,432,000 human lives. www.conservapedia.com...
Bernard Nathanson, who helped to found the National Abortion Rights Action League, has written that he was responsible for more than 75,000 abortions throughout his pro-abortion career. He is now an outspoken advocate of the anti-abortion, pro-life position. He is often quoted as saying abortion is “the most atrocious holocaust in the history of the United States.” That’s right, Fred, “the most atrocious holocaust.” Nathanson grew up Jewish and described himself as a “Jewish atheist.” He is no longer an atheist. You can read his rejection of atheism here. In his book Aborting America (1979), Nathanson, citing a statement by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, gives the other side of the Talmudic foolishness quoted by Fred the Atheist americanvision.org...
Russia was the first country in the world to legalize abortion, in 1920..And with the population level in severe decline -- demographers estimate it could fall below 100 million by 2050, from 150 million in 1992 -- the Russian government is also keen to tackle the issue of abortion. Last year, then-President Vladimir Putin introduced a long-term project to encourage women to have families with more than one child. www.rferl.org...
Taken all together, we have 401 million deaths over nearly 2000 years of war and barbarism. Just for the sake of argument, let’s add another 10%, or 40 million, to cover margins of error, and other wars. This would bring our total to 441 million deaths over the last 20 centuries.
Now, what about abortion? At the low end of the Guttmacher scale, even if we ignore all abortions done prior to 1980 when accurate numbers are a little more difficult to ascertain, abortion accounts for more than twice the number of deaths by war! In just the last 25 years, the ghastly toll for abortion has totaled over 900 million dead babies. Taking the more probable mean average, the toll rises to well over 1 billion babies; or nearly three times the amount of deaths due to war. www.covenantnews.com...
Dr. Lejeune explained that within three to seven days after fertilization we can determine if the new human being is a boy or a girl. "At no time," Dr. Lejeune said, "is the human being a blob of protoplasm. As far as your nature is concerned, I see no difference between the early person that you were at conception and the late person which you are now. You were, and are, a human being." www.prolife.com...
Russia is facing a demographic crisis so severe that it threatens the nation's existence as a world power. The population is shrinking by an average of 700,000 people a year www.martinfrost.ws...
The Bolsheviks’ fantasy of a Godless, morals free utopia, peopled by a New UnMan–a soulless, polymorphously perverse industrial robot– collapsed into a hellish nightmare. It was a scene out of a pornographic bedlam: hordes of conscienceless “children of the State” visiting havoc and crime upon cities and towns, sex slavery, prostitution, gross debauchery and outright chaos. After years of revolution and famine the economy was severely damaged, and with the death of the family—the building block of society—both economy and culture collapsed.
Too late, the Bolsheviks and Lenin realized that without the family, there is no future. www.thelandofthefree.net...
I have been watching and participating in several threads on ATS lately about atheism vs religion. While I don't really agree with "religion" per se, I am always horrified by the callous disregard that the atheists have for anyone's belief in anything other than what is tangible and scientifically proven.
