That's a tautology. You are saying the equivalent of, "If I throw a ball I'll throw it sooner or later."

Supposing that something is to happen doe snot make it so.

The movie 2012 was fun to watch although ridiculously predictable in killing off people one by one. You could guess who was going to die next. The visuals were fun to watch, but ridiculous. Not sure which of the scenarios was more preposterous.
1. Was it that the world opened up everywhere? How was the surrounding rock compressed? There should have been a new mountain for every hole made.
2. The 1000C lava hits a vehicle and no inside is instantly turn into a succulent barbecue.
3. The pole shift occurs without generating winds that would have blow the plane back.
4. The tsunamis at the end do not drain. Weird.

The list is so long.

At first I didn't think any thing was happening. Today, reading about all the flooding in Australia, got me to thinking. What would be causing all the flooding? Why is it snowing in Atlanta, Georgia? It's colder in Europe this year. I think I know what is causing all this. The BP oil spill shut down the loop current in the Gulf of Mexico. That in turn stopped the Gulf Stream. I believe scientists have been saying the gulf stream is going to shut down eventually say within the next twenty five years. I believe the Gulf oil spill just hastened the process. I think the stopped Gulf stream has also affected the jet stream. That would explain the erratic behavior the jet stream has exhibited for the last few months or so. The Gulf current is just part of a larger current that goes all around the world, the ramifications are mind boggling. It looks like we're entering a mini ice age.

The Gulf Stream has not slowed down at all. The claim it was going to stop was an internet hoax that many gullible people fell for. The hoax was pushed by such frauds of Moore and others. It's sad to see that people have fallen for this lie.

I was looking for a thread for what I wanted to mention here. I'm in South Africa, and it's supposed to be summer now. But, we are having winter weather. It's quite cold also. I heard that Australia is also now having winter weather. And, in the northern hemisphere, like northern USA and northern Europe, it started snowing in October this year already.
I reckon that there is (or could be) an Ice Age coming. I even reckoned this at this time last year. I heard that the Artic ice cap is decreasing and the Antartic ice cap increasing. This can eventually cause the earth, in its rotation, to go off balance. It can cause a shifting of the earth's crust. So, there'd be some accuracies in the film '2012'.
It has been said that the earth's crust shifts about every 11000 years. And, the last one was about 11000 years ago. That was when the Artic ice cap increased and Antartic one decreased.
It also corresponds to Astrology. That last ice age was around the time of the Golden Age of Leo. The sun is the ruler of Leo. So, the sun melting it. Now, we are in the developing Aquarian Age. And, Aquarius is the polar sign of Leo. December 21, 2012 is when the sun will be closer to Aquarius (instead of Pisces) for the 1st time.

I heard that Australia is also now having winter weather. And, in the northern hemisphere, like northern USA and northern Europe, it started snowing in October this year already.

I live in one of the areas that saw an early snow. The snow is gone and the weather is mild now and has been for most of the time from October to now.

This can eventually cause the earth, in its rotation, to go off balance. It can cause a shifting of the earth's crust.

This suggestion that ice could cause the Earth to go off balance is not true. There is something called isostacy that causes the Earth to sink in response to increased weight and to rise as the weight is removed. That causes areas of northern Canada and the US to rise. Ancient seashores are now on hillsides. There archaeologists find 9000 year old evidence of habitation and that continues on to the present shore where more modern remains are found. It also has caused parts of Virginia to sink causing problems with some of the dry docks in the area.

It has been said that the earth's crust shifts about every 11000 years. And, the last one was about 11000 years ago.

Such ideas were proposed by Hapgood. That does not happen. Geological studies show no crustal shifts in the last 200My. The best candidate for a pole shift is from 800Ma.
