Crusading in the name of Darwin

Why don't you ever post something that you cannot see the holes in within seconds? Atheists...We have lower IQs even though we've shown you evidence that says the opposite. We are ignorant even though most atheists endlessly seek knowledge based on fact. We are mean, even though you are the one who starts threads constantly that perpetuate unfounded stereotypes and wild claims. Now we are evil potential Hitlers, because you can't see that any human being on the planet could easily take ANYTHING and use it for their own purpose or gain, atheists and theists alike, and more often theists. And finally now, we are all delusional.

Even though atheism directly counters the definition of delusion. A delusion, believing in something when there is evidence to the contrary, whether it be factual evidence or the fact that no one has any proof of god's existence other than what HUMANS have said, hear say.

So, atheists, who lack belief because they think the belief lacks a factual basis, are delusional? How can a person who tends to only focus on things dealing in logic, reasoning, and facts possibly be delusional? And religious people, who collectively believe something there's no tangible proof, aren't delusional?

Most of your posts would do good as an example connected to the definition of delusional in the dictionary.

I am terribly sorry but those comments must have been made about "Atheism" (in general) a certain group of individuals... if they exist on this site then so be it.

This topic is about Neo-Darwinism and Sociobiology and those who wish to use his educational theories as a tool to crusade against or in the name of.

"Darwin knew very little about the mechanism of variation" he merely recognized that whatever its source, phenotypic variation allowed for natural selection to operate.

a Kafir is a non-believer, an Atheist, whatever one would like to call it... I do not believe I directly singled anyone out but I was making an observation of a certain group of English speaking Atheists.

Again, that was another thread and if you wish to identify yourself as one of these Atheists and how I may perceive them you may do it in the said thread.

I never labeled you or anyone here specifically otherwise I believe that would have been against the T&C, it was a general and overall encompassing observation.

Atheists come in all shapes, colors and languages... my observation of English speaking Atheists does not reflect any particular race.

may be discrimination against a certain group and their philosophies but surely not racism.

Each side loves to vilify both sides. There are really crappy nasty Christians there are really crappy nasty atheists. There are really nice Christians that are not preachy there are really nice atheist that are not preachy.
It seems like the culture wars are polarizing.
I am not quite sure what you have against Darwin. I myself have studied biology and had a love for the natural world evolutions simply makes sense to understanding it. A zoologist, biologist , or naturalist would be committing career suicide if they did not believe in it. An astronomer or geologist would be committing career suicide if they claimed the earth is only 6000 years old.

Things like answers in genesis are propaganda masquerading as science and to anybody who knows anything about science the ideas are laughably absurd.

I am not an atheist and never could be, as god has been my constant friend, support and mentor, and I have visited heaven, seen god face to face and conversed with him.

I know what get's a person into heaven. Just read Matthew 25. It's not about belief or baptism, that is a lie from those who want to build an empire of power and wealth from the blood and memories of those who tried to lead by simple example. What fits a person for heaven is inner kindness, a sense of wonder, a love of love, and a willingness to know and be known.

I say this to you, any atheist here will have the freedom to enter heaven, but you are so wrapped up in your pathetic mendacious barriers of hatred you will not dare to enter a plane which has room for only love and truth.

For as long as you keep broadcasting your hate-filled lies, I will stand against you with my atheist brothers.

I never insulted you... if you associate yourself with this group so be it, I would love to see my snippet and a link to the post where and in which I said this to you.

I directed my comment to to a group of individuals as Islamic and Christian and Judaism see and refer to them as.

It was a general observation that I myself have personally noticed among that group.

I guess we are supposed to be proud some have their nose pierced with a metal bar or loop or a chicken bone as some would like to refer to it as ?

Ok, let's make this real simple: Who used Darwin as an excuse for bad actions?? And even if it happened, how is this any worse than Christians slaughtering Arabs during the crusades, Muslims blowing up infidels today, Protestants hating on Catholics, or the Gulugulu bush people hating their GLUGLUGLU neighbours???

The motive of bad actions was always personal gain, as in...money or power. That's if you ignore a few mental cases of course, but they're a tiny minority

I see it more as a personal opinion, if it sounds biased then I would look at what has been spoken about Theists in general, then I believe you would find my dialogue is actually somewhat softer by far.

half is totally incorrect... I have submitted to 8% of the population being non-believers but only half of that is Atheists.

As I explained in the linked posts, Hinduism and Buddhism are not really theistic religions. What, exactly, do you think 'theistic' means?

As for numbers, it seems that statistics vary based on their source. Who knew!
