What are your favorite video game series?

What are your favorite video game series? In other words, what video games do you enjoy enough to keep coming back to when sequels are made?

Here are my favorites:

-the EA Sports games (for NFL, college football, NBA, MLB, NHL, FIFA soccer, and PGA golf)

I also love well made & high quality Star Trek and Star Wars games, though they're rare.

I love the Sonic the Hedgehogs, The Donkey Kongs, and The Super Mario ones, especially the ones with Yoshi

Final Fantasy...VII has to be the best all around game ever devised. Those who haven't played it, buy it now because it's only $15 and you will be mesmerized.

Phantasy Star series. Talking about old console ones, not the online ones.

Mechwarrior is another of my favorite Franchises.

oh yeah can't leave out the Total War guys either.

Command and Conquer...of course....I own them all...cept for one expansion I cant find...

Final Fantasy has to be the best of all time. Wild Arms 1 & 3 were very good as well. For its time, Phantasy Star (or what ever it was called) and I have an addiction to the House of the Dead series.

Quake!!! Will no one mention Quake?

EmpireEarth was great, but the expansion was a weak follow-through to the original. Civ3 Conquests, however, is one of the best games in recent memory. Age of Empires and the Sonic Adventure games were good, too. And I enjoy Command&Conquer Generals...

the Final Fantasy series By far. I have played them all except for the ones that were weleased only overseas.
