You missed all the excitement earlier.
Good debate with many posters having their anti-op posts removed mine included. A lot of ATS members had their posts removed vigorously defending the freedom of religion. ---including Islam ooz. Don't assume you know what went on.

The OP had a chip on his shoulder and said his piece

Muslims don't stand up against terrorism in the name of Islam?

And that was just the first page of the Google results.

They don't have to.

The Quran does.

A Muslim can do what ever he.she wants.

Just like a Christian can do what ever he/she wants.

Hitler was apparently a Christian, he murdered many innocent lives, does that represent Christianity? No!!!

Open your eyes and take your head out of "the place where the sun don't shine".

Excuses excuses.

If someone says "I use your god in the name of committing violence and terror globally", and you sit there and say "Hey, not my problem" then you basically say "Go for it." -- compliance.

Personally, if anyone goes around claiming to believe what I believe in, using it as justification for them to act in violence, I will tell them to gtfo because they in no way speak for me or represent my beliefs.

Islam sits in silence about it, but don't dare draw a picture... Ohh noo.. We soon hear about it then.

And you like it like that, that's all.

But should the numbers ever favour you, then you will then admit it.

Just about the time you get to thinking that we're going to get help stamping out terrorists..........

Assistance from Muslim Community in Breaking Terrorist Cases is Being Exaggerated
bigpeace.com...

A database used by Islamist groups to support claims that the Muslim community is responsible for helping to break up one-third of terrorist plots is based on flawed and selective use of data, an Investigative Project on Terrorism analysis shows.

hmmm...the inquisition? All those catholic and protestant terrorists in Ireland? The Israeli state's Jewish apartheid? Extremist Christians? Particularly in America’s Bible belt....I don't think I have ever read such an inflammatory and hate filled post on ATS. You don't think that what's being proposed by the OP is 'extremist'? Who’s kidding who?

Do not forget that the ONLY reason Christianity became so widespread was that it was enforced. I don’t think anyone has EVER tried to force me to become a Muslim. Islam is 600 years younger than Christianity. 600 years ago was the Inquisition.

I advocate freedom of choice – freedom of speech – and freedom to practice the religion of your choice.

Vive la difference – the world would be a very dull place if we were all the same.

I, being from the Islamic tradition, would gladly debate one with the issue but the thread is born in original sin: Ignorance, propaganda, hatred.

You have yourself degraded Islam by allowing this abominable thread.

But that’s all right go ahead and delete this post

For I wouldn’t dignify the words of the bigot who wrote this OP with any legitimate debate

CAST NOT PEARLS AT THE FEET OF SWINE!

what I would like to understand is why moslems want to come to the countries in europe, australia and USA and then insist on changing us and our ways

these countries come from jedeo christian traditions although only 8% of the people go to church so we are pretty much secular in laws.

we had immigrants from india and from china and none of them wanted to change us but as soon as it was muslims emigrating to our countires you lot expect us to change things . I think that is the source of anger - we just want you to leave us to our ways and we will leave you to your ways so long as the worst of the traditions dont come with you because they are illegal in our countries [honour killings, arranged marriages, female circumcision, polygamy to name a few]

you already know we are christian countires so why do you want to come to our countries if you dont like that?

so you want to undermine your constitution by denying a specific group of people their right to have their religion.

isn't "underminung the constitution" the thing you blame your goventment for?

whatever, you are a victim of this whole "let's create a concept of the enemy" plan and I'm really sorry for you.

But it is the language that they use that is what gives a clue they are not serious about stopping the extremist of their groups, nor does one hear strong language coming from the clerics on such. It is always condone, and they don’t represent, to protect themselves, should those responsible be actually caught. They neither desire peace, nor are actively seeking it, rather tending to show a very intolerant view towards those they do not like. Words are a powerful thing, and yet why use the soft words to fight a theological ideal? It is as if they are afraid to use stronger language. If the majority of the clerics and Muslims are moderate and devout, then why can they not use language that would be stronger to end the violence of the extremist? What would have a greater impact on all around: We condone the actions of these individuals.
Or The actions of the ones do not represent us, and they are not going to heaven, but to #@%%, they are not true Muslims.
After read the articles, it is not enough, nor does it give the general public any warm feelings. Unfortunately, for every good story, such as you have posted, there are equal number of stories that show the actions that are the opposite of such.
It is going to take a long time for peace to be achieved, and it will not be over night. It will also require that all of the moderate Muslim population to stand up and say enough, including the clerics, using much harsher language than softer ones.

I love the fact you bring up separate and individual groups in located places, as opposed to a global example.

I love it.

Hey gais, xtians suck also, look at the bible belt!!

ISLAM is world wide. the sentiment amongst extremists follows it. Not just mad people randomly popping up on occasion.

hahaha, once more this is used as a "But theyre nice purples, we r all colors yaa" and I cringe...

Hitler was not a Christian, but did have a strong effect on the Islamic world, influencing the views of one nation today, to even changing their name. Hitler used the different church’s to push a political point of view, and then changed the nature of what they were teaching, first with a suggestion, to a nudge, to out right taking control over the different church’s. The Nazi’s would close down a church that did not follow the party line. That is well documented.
Oozyism, do not be insulting, as it shows that you do not have a valid argument. The facts are that the extremist Muslim’s are using the Quran to justify their actions, backed by the blessing of a Muslim Cleric. This has always been and will always be. When you trace the message back, it came from a Muslim Cleric, and a few extremist who decides to take those actions. The clerics stir the pot and pour gas on the fire, perhaps if you can provide proof, beyond one holy text.
Atheism, Communism, Socialism, Democracy, and Capitalism are not a religious movement, and have nothing to do with religion what so ever. Muslims, follow Islam, that is a religious ideology, and one of the three Judaic religions, tracing its roots way back.
Atheism is a belief that there is no divine, Communism, Socialism, and Democracy are all political systems. Under Communism you are not allowed to practice any religion, save that which is approved of by the state.
Capitalism, is a system of economy, which drives a country and society.
But back to Hitler, it seems that a lot of the problems today, in the middle east goes way back to the time of Hitler and the Nazi party, when they had ambassadors around the world. Back then, there was no Iran, but Persia, until a suggestion was made, coming from the Nazi party, and now it is called Iran. The Nazi’s were using their ideology to try to spread their influence around the world, to accomplish their goals, and divide up the world, to include that of the destruction of one people, and at the same time, were in the process of trying to gather resources for their war machine, hence the involvement in the middle east. Oil back then was a powerful commodity as it is now, so there you have it, the connection between the Muslim world and the Nazi party. Even today, remnants of that ideology and influence, called the Muslim Brotherhood, which is still strong throughout the middle east.

FINALLY! Someone has the balls to speak the truth,

I agree with everything the OP states. and its about time people started to realise that ISLAM is a cult and a massive problem, for all those too thick to see what's right in front of them, i feel sorry for all of you.

What else has to happen or how many more people have to die in the name of islam before people wake up?

Finally? People on ATS have been eating up youtube propaganda and posting their uneducated, biased, hate mail for a long time. You'll notice that no body with a reputation on ATS actually posts in these threads because they have better things to do.

Labeling one of the most widespread religions as a cult is a joke. Believing everything you see on youtube is a joke. Anti-islamists are a joke.

Millions more have died in the name of Christianity than that of Islam, and all of a sudden Islam is a cult?
These hateful opinions need to get taken off of ATS altogether. Freedom of Speech is beautiful, but this is not an outlet to vent your blind, unreasoned hate of an ethnic group or religion. If the moderators did their job, this would no longer be allowed on ATS.

Read through this [SNIP] thread, and watch how his argument (basically the same islam-hating propaganda pusher) gets knocked down by reason.

Yea, there are very few that see Islam for what it really is. I'm afraid that one day everyone's eyes will be open though. Islam should have no rights in today's world. Thousands of people are killed each year because of Islam through all the "Honor Killings" that Islam says is okay to all the radicals who kill anyone they see as infidels.

The only thing in my OP that I really don't agree with is rounding them up and putting them in camps. That was something I added because I am so sick of them coming here, trying to change our country, wanting special rights because of their so called religion, wanting to live under their law of Sharia. If they don't want to adapt to whatever country they migrate to, then they should stay in the country of their origin.

I apologize to everyone about the CAMPS, but everything else I said I stick to it, because I'm tired of people, not only Muslims, coming to my country and trying to change it to suit them. God knows that the government is changing it enough. I don't even recognize the America I grew up in anymore and that is truly sad.

TPTB in the USA only have one thing on their minds and that is their MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX, but that's another subject. America is dying and the Muslims and all the illegals flooding in here do not help the situation, especially when they want us to live by their ways instead of them adopting to the host country. I feel sorry for those who can't or won't see what is right in front of them.

To add: I don't believe this thread will be up very long. But OP if you aren't a troll.. I hope you will take a very serious look at the statements you have made and question if you believe in the Constitution. Not only have you supported the denial of rights to an entire ethnic group (The Japanese) but also support the denial of rights to an entire religious group.

If you can honestly look at these statements and believe that you still support the US Constitution please do the following; Leave the Country, Leave the Country, or Leave the country as fast as you possibly can because you are more dangerous to our life and liberty than any brain washed 25 year old kid with a bomb strapped to his chest ever will be.

I'm with you. The OP might as well say Baptists should be banned, simply because some freaks like WBC claim that title.

He'll never know a person like my high school physics teacher, Doc Saaed from Afghanistan who taught me more about life than physics, and led by example in returning to Afghanistan to fight the Russians.

He'll never know a beautiful 16 year old Palestinian girl who cried on my shoulder over a boy.

He'll never know all the wonderful majority out there who believe in Islam and peace.

If someone wants to condemn an entire religion and its followers because of some few freaks who claim that religion as a justification for anything they do, then all religions would be banned.

BTW: this comes from an American vet, whose grandfather was a Jew.

Everyone has a right to their opinions and if the Mods were doing their jobs as you say, then your name calling would be stopped. I didn't start all the Muslims under the guise of Islam killing everyone and I sure do have a right to voice my opinion on the radical "Religion"

I see Christian bashing threads on the boards but I don't see all of you on those threads getting all bent out of shape over it. NO, it's just when you say something about Islam or the Muslims is when people get riled up. Unbelievable....
