Attacking sites like paypal affects ALL users of the site, I am currently having problems verifying my account as stated in a previous post and I need access to it, if its their fault these problems have arisen then they are attacking me as well.

I think you are missing the point.

For one Anon, is not 4chan. 4chan greatly contributes, because, well its thousands of people in one place, that all agree on the freedom on the internet.

In todays world, not much is free, but for the few countries that do not have their internet on lockdown, this is their only true freedom.

The people on Anon and 4chan are making a point.

Regardless if its Kiddy porn, the most obscene gore, pictures of drugs, etc. The point is its on the internet, and what is on the internet is MINE. Its everyone's its the freedom of the internet, you can do what you want.

You can use Paypal 364 days of the year. The effects of a DDoS attack are temporary. Paypal isn't going to dissapear of the face of the internet! IF the attack is successful, it'll be reversed in but a day or two.

Millions of users will be inconvenienced for a few hours. Well boo-hoo.

The reality is this; If PayPal goes down, it'll be nobodies fault but their own. PayPal are responsible for the mild inconvenience. Anon are not the cause of the problem, they're a result of the problem. Understanding the difference isn't difficult.

I didn't come here to talk to just you anyway, I was addressing my concerns with any reader of the thread.

The fact is these people are disrupting countless people’s daily lives with their childishness, if they want to attack someone, attack the governments, attack the Swedish judicial system, attack those directly responsible for their masters enslavement.

Don’t get between me and MY money, whether it is a few hours or a few days. Yes the internet should be free, yes what’s MINE is MINE, and those little spotty toerags are delaying me getting what is MINE just because they want to feel oh so powerful for a short time.

But they're not, and I do care about the truth, but its Christmas and I want to buy my family presents off EBay, to make them happy and see them smile on Christmas day.

Thousands of people have the insurance file, I have it, several people have the decryption key, that key will be released if needs be. PayPal freezing funds or refusing to deal with WLeaks won't stop us getting the truth. These attacks are just a petty act of revenge and childish shenanigans.

If you had bothered to take time to read this thread instead of butting in you will find that I posted about my inability to use my account as it has been limited due to spending / receiving limits. I need to verify my account by phone which I cannot do because their system is "currently undergoing a fault", probably as a result of these attacks. I could verify by giving them my bank details, which I refuse to do as I do not trust PayPal to have my details. But I need PayPal because just about every seller on EBay will only accept it as a form of payment.

Don't tell me to stop whining pal, I'll use who I need to use, that is my choice, I don't need some snot nosed little brat throwing his / her childish tantrums at me.

And IF(and again I need to stress the IF) it does, it's nobodies fault but PayPals. For supporting tyrants and putting their own arse in the firing line. PayPal supports fascism and censorship. Ah yes of course, wanting to see my family happy amounts to capitalist greed, FYI pal, I work hard for my money, and by the time rent is paid, taxes are seen too and the bills are paid, I have very little left (hence why I use eBay to get nice things for my son, my parents, my brother etc.), and as much as money is the root of all evil, it is still necessary in the current world.

But of course I'm a greedy capitalist pig because I'm ticked off that it's getting close to Christmas post cut off and I can't yet make that family Christmas happen, I’m going to hell.

No worries. Of course originally I didn't know your money was for presents. I'm in the same boat this year, family will have to make-do with socks.

Anyway, the DDoS attacks will have minimal impact on PayPal. Even getting the website down for a few hours would be massive. You'd have as much chance attacking Google. I severely doubt the attacks have impacted PayPal on any level, yet, anyway. PayPal are inept all year round. If they're not ignoring calls they're lying to you.

And they just took down the Swedish prosecutors office website at aklargare.se

The poster is a free person and has right to use any service he wants. If Wikileaks is having problems with Paypal then it's them who need to change their service provider!

Wikileaks has had their acc frozen there before. Why did they continue using Paypal? Why aren't suggesting them to use a different service?

Routine maintenance on paypals site has nothing to do with a ddos attack. Account limits most certainly have nothing to do with any outside actions.

You dont trust paypal to have your details, yet you trust them to transfer your funds? Thats a bit contradictory isnt it?
