Tommy, I've always said the added footage which zoom onto the contrail were added later and that is a fact..
It was NOT in the original footage screened on the 8th..
You seem very confused over the video segments released on the 8th?
Read your post again. You even claimed that the original vid has been wiped from the net and that still had been inserted! That is completely
incorrect as you can see from the video that people uploaded to You Tube.

Thanks for posting though...
The original vid seems to have been wiped from the net..
The footage was released by the news station. They chose to show an edited segment to the likes of Doug Richardson, the General and the former NATO
guy. That was the portion that was still showing the persistent contrail and what they suggested was a rocket engine flame.
As you can see from the stills there was other later (later in sequence) footage that was also released by the news station. It was that footage that
made Doug Richardson from Jane's Rockets and Missiles reverse his initial assessment. Why is that so hard to understand?
Study the stills and watch the video?
The only thing that doesn't match up is the following still.
This is clear evidence that Gil Leyvas has zoomed into another contrail visible in the sky. It doesn't match up with any part of the video snippets
released by CBS?
Note the small contrail on the Hermosa Beach image that is also pointing towards the coast?
That is why the full raw footage should have been released from day one.

To further clarify that 'rogue contrail' look at the bottom right of the still. Part of the foreground is visible meaning that this was not part of
the large contrail, but another one as shown in the Hermosa Beach image. Mick West at Contrail Science assesses this as being part of the earlier
American West Boeing 757 contrail that transited the area prior to the MD-11.
