Do any four people on any of these posts ever agree on anything? Not to my knowledge. But, I am willing to be enlightened.

In my opinion a person who is capable of creating an encryption program that will take the most advanced computers we have today 1-10 million years to crack is not an "idiot". Sure what he did may be questionable by some. Personally i am backing Assange. i am just saying, the man is clearly not an idiot.

Assange acts in the guise of good intention, not considering the collateral damage of these actions. There is another thread on this topic; that Wikileaks is a disinfo source. Now I know all the cables have yet to be released but so far nothing on Israel. If I were in the midst of having my economic scheme exposed I would consider a potential war with N.K... especially with China's support.

Perhaps some hackers should hack Wikileaks and see just what they're holding on to.

the basic gist of what is occurring is:

wikileaks has streamlined the FOIA process
and eliminated the red tape bureaucracy
associated with it. It's the fast lane to truth
without all the gov documents sent to you
with all the black markings through them

China simply solved the whole Assangria problem by recently announcing that Wikileaks is blocked from entering the domain of any Chinese computer anywhere in China. See how simple that problem was taken care of by North Korea's bigger brother.

I thought the debate on 'consensual sex' enhanced interest in that Assangria topic. Alas, even Assangria's sex life turns out to be dull reading. But at least it was a step upward in small respects.

No surprise, now Amazon has stopped hosting __._. All of you that used to buy from Amazon, tell them that you are no more interested in using their services, I will definitely do that.

Yeah, that's the solution, right? Censor and sanitize every expression of free speech, right? Nope, doesn't do it for me. Better to have transparency and since no government, even my own while advocating it, wants transparency wistle-blowers and wikileaks is the way to go, me thinks. Well.. I agree that he isn't an idiot, but I'm pretty sure he didn't invent that encryption. The government has used that same encryption before. You are right though.. he is far, far from an idiot.
