Yup, I fully understand and agree with what you say but we need to break the mold.

We need to. No-one will do it for us.

If we do not stand up and be counted then we cannot expect others to.

Too often I hear people say "meh, my life is fine, I will let someone else stand up for our rights" but the problem is everyone is thinking that. Too scared to stand for justice.

The best way that I can describe it is from an old energy advert on British TV. A man didn't turn his light off when he goes to bed and says "It doesn't matter if I leave my light on because others will turn theirs off so I am only wasting a little bit of energy". The camera zooms out and loads of lights are on because people all think the same thing.

This is the same. We all expect others to stand up for us but we need to be that person. Eventually we will amass enough people to make a big enough voice.

Or I just live in a dream world where we are not all submissive pawns

Don't forget school in that equation. I'm in my mid 40's and just went back to college this past semester for the first time in 25+ years. I have been nothing short of shocked at how much education has changed. One of my professors (who I've become friends with) and I were just discussing this on Tuesday. Our children are no longer being taught to think critically. They are being taught to parrot answers and take tests. Now, she's been an educator for twenty years now and used to head up the business program at my school until health issues forced her to give the position up. She maintains the students who are being taught to think critically... on a minimal level, are those in honors programs, and even then the level of critical thinking taught is only about 1/5 of what it once was. Couple that with everything you've stated above and its a recipe for disaster.

Additionally, in my opinion (and I can understand if others might disagree) I feel that technology has only added to this problem. Coming from a time when computers were not used in school and papers were handwritten, there was a definite need and requirement that one not only learn to spell, but learn proper grammar. In this day an age, what is the point? You type your paper in word, and that nifty little spellcheck and grammarcheck feature will do all that work for you. Not to mention the fact that more and more people seem to think that texting language such as 'How R U 2day" is becoming more and more acceptable...

It's terribly saddening.

I wonder if things will be any different since his son is in congress now as well. I wonder if he will be a voice that stands with his father or against him.. and if he stands with his father, will that rally even more to the cause of the people and the get more change come 2012. Look I am not a republican, a democrat and I'm definitely not a progressive/socialist, I do consider myself conservative. If we can get more people like Ron Paul and his son if he stands with his father to join congress and get rid of the progressive dems and the establishment republicans then and only then (IMHO) will we get the change we want and get the government back to where it should be, small and controlled by the people.

Just my 2 cents

You have absolutely no chance of it happening.

Try making some group and it will be infiltrated, and destroyed.

People cannot work together and thats the real world.

Look at what they have planned nexted: rense.com...
Bracelets that taser you if you don't go along like a good piece of livestock. Kind of reminds me of the neck collars in the Running Man movie. Doesn't seem so far fetched now.

Ron Paul is right, if he is sincere, and he looks to be sincere we need more people in government like him.

A couple of days ago I read the experience of a woman who went to the airport with her child, and she was sexually molested by the TSA agent, as she was groped in all her private parts, and the TSA agent didn't even notify the woman she was going to do this to this woman/passenger.

We need more people to stand up, either express your sincere opinion at the airport and tell the TSA, and the government enough is enough, or stop using every airport that uses the full x-ray scan machines, and the new pat down procedures which are nothing more than "legalized sexual harrassment" by a government which has amased too much power because people have fallen asleep.

We are being programmed by the government, and certain rich powerful individuals to accept the claim that we must give up our rights in order to be safe, when in fact giving away our rights will make us unsafe agaisnt the rich powerful people in power who only want more power and more control over people because they get high on the amount of power they have.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Vote for Ron Paul for President in 2012!!!!

Ahh, yes I think I know what you mean. Seems as if people that are just jumping on don't have the same honesty and innocense more or less.

I believe, the more momentum the honest movement gets, we should make sure it stays honest and righteous. It is our duty to call out anyone who goes against the people's best interest. It's up to us to diplomatically take back our country from the hands of the elite whose only interest is money and the enslavement and pacifying of the people. We have a voice, it's long been time we spread the message and put our voice to use.

We shall placate the arrogance, the superior and smug attitudes of any who wishes to associate themselves with a just cause to truly make a change for the better on behalf of the people. That among other things is what we should do I think.

We are all in this together. Our lives are affected as one.

So essentially what you two are saying is that those people who are just now waking up to Ron Paul and getting behind him aren't as good as those of you who have supported him for a longer period of time. Seriously? The people who are "just jumping on" do not have the same "honesty and innocense" as you. Wow.

Then you quite ironically point to others as being arrogant with their "superior and smug attitudes".

It's a good thing that Ron Paul has his own voice and doesn't have to rely on this kind of publicity.

The thing about alot of this is that human arrogance keeps gov secrets safe, as everyone wants to think they will know if something is happening.

I am sure plenty of bad stuff is happening, but most people would not even know if it is true or believe it.

The way that none of the americans have any knowledge on electronic mind control is bizarre. The peopel will never ever get anywhere without knowing what these people can do and do to humans.

If they used non lethel weapons on boris yeltsin and he was russia pres, to destroy him, what chance do any of you have? If they cannot protect a president what chance do you have, and you have no knowledge of what they can do?

All these people talking about standing up, if you do not know what the gov can do, how can you even start?

The game is over, no americans will do anything unless the gov wants it.

Thanks for posting this.

In my opinion, Dr Paul is last true American Statesmen that we have. His principles are of founding father status, and he has never wavered for the many decades he has been in public life.

He has never voted to raise taxes.

He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.

He reads the bill and re-reads the Constitution for every vote he takes, to make absolutely sure that his vote is not in violation of the Constitution.

He believes in the Republic that our country was intended to be. If you don't know the difference between a Republic and a Democracy, do some research.

He believes in small government and low taxes.

He believes that we should not be the policeman of the world.

If someone attacks us, we have the right to respond, but pre-emptive wars like Iraq are totally illegal.

He has always stood up to the rights of the common American.

He has never taken a dime from lobbyists.

He returns a portion of his congressional budget back to the treasury each year.

He is not a flash in the pan, he has done this all his adult life.

Long Live Ron Paul !

Man whenever i hear Ron Paul talk i get a feeling of slight hope for the politics governing our country.

Then i typically hear all of the other insane things that drown out important ideas/speeches/warnings like this particular video and i can't help but feel angry again.

One quote popped into my head after watching and listening to this.
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
-Benjamin Franklin

(childish side note): Did that sound like he said "homo-cide" to anyone else? ahahahah

I rarely post on here anymore, but come on.

Your arguments against Ron Paul are basically "Where was he during the Bush years?", "Where was he 50 years ago?", and "Where were the Ron Paul supporters 50 years ago?".

Well, :

www.youtube.com...

I don't even have to search through the videos and try to pick one that makes Paul look good. His record speaks for itself.

And what kind of argument is "Oh, he wasn't talking about it before, so now that he is talking about it, we should just ignore it. He didn't get here soon enough." No offense but that's stupidity, and probably a little elitism because someone feels they were thinking about certain issues before Ron Paul, or his fans/followers/whatever you want to call it.

Seriously, you give hints that you agree with his stances, but then shoot it down because...what exactly? Seems your jaded. Why don't you get off your ass and put in more work than Ron Paul rather than sit back and take cheap shots at him with no substance.

If the UK, a country transitioning to a strong Orwellian police state, is balking at out the USA security measures for air travel in disgust, its easy to put into perspective just how tyrannical its really getting here in the US.

Ron Paul is spot on. People are taking it up the rear end (almost literally now) and continue on as if nothing is wrong and America is none the less a free country. No, it is not. America is very obviously not a free country when you face an $11,000 fine for refusing to be strip searched or molested while in the course of ordinary travels. America is a fascist state and it is well on its way to become a fascist police state.

Just today Wired.com reported how HOLLYWOOD is responsible for the internet censorship bill going through congress which a senate committee unanimously passed. Had an ordinary citizen asked the senate to pass a bill banning all internet censorship, they would throw their message in the trash with all the rest of them. But if HOLLYWOOD, basically a bunch of rich corporations, asks congress to censor the internet they practically throw a celebration that they have a chance to submit to their corporate overlords.

Both uk and usa are virtually identical apart from your 2nd amendment, which the ptb have spent decades trying to take from you.

Uk and usa are just as bad as one another now, and our tv is getting as bad as yours too.

Especially considering the topics and subject matter he talks about?
So...now that I've taken the bait, and swallowed your line, hook & sinker, where does this conversation take us?

Great post!

Keep waiting for that funny scar face avator dude to jump on this thread and tell us how wonderful it is that TSA is in our pants to save us from the big bad terrorists! LOL

We all know the xmas day underwear bomber was let onto the plane in Amsterdam. Our FBI lied and said this was not so, but an Alex Jones listener had seen the whole thing where our government got the man on the plane without a passport and bypassing the naked body scanner they had in Amsterdam. LOL They had to admit it later but still Faux News and the rest of our CIA news keeps referencing the phony underwear bomber as the reason for the naked body scanners. They don't tell anybody that our government let that guy on the plane and videotaped the entire thing! LOL

It was funny because the Alex Jones listener, Kurt Haskell even told the FBI when they called him a liar to let him see the videotape from Amsterdam and he would show him the "sharp dressed man" that let the guy on the plane to the objection of the ticket agents. The FBI agents wouldn't hear of that though and refused to let Mr. Haskell see the video tape! They basically called him a liar for about a month!

So 99.9% of all terror attacks done in the USA are from government operatives just like 99.9% of the violence done in protests is done by agent provocateurs. It's really sad to see so many evil people in our government that have sold their soul to the bankster devils. What's also sad is when you see the Judas Shills come in and tell you that Naked Body Scanners are necessary which is a LIE since our government is doing all the terror to bring in their new world order!

You know something, its not about being dangerous to the government, its about taking back the government from the corporate masters. And so far, the state run media, and political insiders have done a good job at keeping a true American Hero like Ron Paul on the sidelines.

But now, people are waking up.

And it has nothing to do with Republican versus Democrat, that is the lie that keeps us all enslaved.

This is about government for and by the people, versus government by the rich and powerful.

And if enough people wake up to that FACT, then indeed Dr. Paul will need protection.

And as a true American, I could do no other but to protect the last great statesmen of our country.

Now, do you understand?

This guy truly speaks what the American people are saying. I get so ticked off everytime i hear the news stations claiming what the American people are saying because you know they are lying and doctoring polls to sway agenda to one side or another. They use the peer pressure effect hoping that if the Americans hear what other Americans are saying and wanting.....the people listening will want the same.....even though it is controlled media lying through their teeth. This guy did run for president already and its just too bad that the Presidents are bought and paid for by Rockefellers and Rothschilds and other high elitists like corperations such as GM etc.Its just too bad that they will most likely silence this guy by an "accidental car wreck" or "suicide" or some random crazy person who disagreed with him but, make no mistake about it, we will all know who the true culprits will be.Isnt that right INTERNATIONAL BANKERS? Even though he would become a martyr.....it might be a better option than to have a hero in the government, who knows what they are doing and has the possibility of rallying the troops. Ron Paul knows the dangers, trust me. He's right though people.

The only way anyone can get elected president of the Corporate States of America is with the support of friendly CEO's. I, too, would vote for Ron in a heartbeat but how is he to even get nominated without business money?

The first thing we need is campaign reforms that will castrate the lobbyists. Until that happens we're screwed.
