Blogger Believes Webcam Image Solves 'Missile' Mystery

A blogger reckons he may have solved the mystery over the vapor trail spotted off the southern coast of California on Monday.

On his blog "Time to Think," Liem Bahneman on Wednesday pinpointed America West Flight 808 as the likely cause -- backing up an explanation offered by a senior military official to Fox News Channel that the contrail caught on video by a news helicopter “was more likely caused by an airplane than anything else."

I knew there had to be a reasonalbe explaination for all of this.

People getting all carried away.. on what? I don't know, maybe ATS has hardened me but I did think for one second it was anything else. Woopee.

I hope we can all move along and await the next one. I will say this was a good one but never the less, explainable.

sorry this is a lame explanation for the big trail...

reasons why?

1. who says the foto isnt from same day..just minutes/hours after the sighting
2. why is a blogger the proof specialist now?
3. maybe another ricket was fired? who knows
4. why still no explanation from FAA if they had a plane in that area..they should know

Nah, it's a contrail. Like I knew it was the first time I saw it.

Of course it is just a CHEM TRAIL.....GONE WRONG, with a nuke inside of it headed for China, or Israel,

But we are lead to believe that it is in fact just a beautiful sunset, with the perfect camera angle and lighting and shadowing to give us one heck of an optical illusion!

Clearly this is not a jet aircraft. The objects "con trail" is nothing like a jet's. And, it clearly is climbing to a tremendous altitude, far above a commercial jet. Add to that the fact that the FAA, and NORAD could did not attribute it to a commercial air craft, which they routinely track, and record data on. I live in Los Angeles, and have witnessed many missile launches from up North of here over the years. This was a missile launch, and from the areas WEST of here, out in the ocean.

I would be more inclined to believe this guy.Its his job to know about missiles.

The secretary defense for NORAD also stated it was a missile.
Infact he called it rather 'beautiful'

Now, the other week the US lost communication with its nuclear missiles in the northern half of the USA.

Why is it such a leap something like this has occured so quickly?

Yeah, it's definitely a jet contrail. It looks nothing like a rocket/missile contrail, if it did, it would have multiple colors in it caused by unburnt fuel and the sunlight at sunset. But all we see is white plume... it's just water condensation.

Add to the fact that there is an identical one 24 hours later when people are paying attention... I doubt they are launching multiple rockets/missiles. I bet you anything there will be another one today too, its perfect weather for contrails ( I live in southern California ).

...and who says it has to be a commercial jet? It could also be military, they like to fly higher than normal commercial jets. There are air force bases in Hawaii. Even then, we don't know the height of the jet, so people saying it is flying too high are full of themselves.

Good news for the D-bunkers. When a nuclear strike against your city takes place I hope ATS is up and running because I want to see what the debunkers say.

Actually its not a lame explanation, and if you read some of the other threads on this you will see how lame any other explanation actually is.

Hmm, really? It's just a plane taking off? Because I'm almost positive the explanation of a plane or jet was implying that we saw it coming right at us which made an illusion that appeared as if something had been launched.. I wonder why the helicopter flying closest to the trail couldn't plainly see a jet flying toward the states? I wonder why the FAA was saying whatever it was had to be too small to pick up on radar because nothing had came through there?

The blogger didn't figure anything out... he just found a picture of the same exact thing in the same area 24 hours after the original event. Then he had the tenacity to figure out what flight may be flying at the time of the picture. He is just confirming things that have already been discovered and hypothesized by others. What happens when a hypothesis is proven to be true? ... It becomes a fact. (most of the time)

The problem with the media and everyone saying that NORAD, USAF, FAA, DoD, etc, etc, etc, couldn't figure it out is that it looked like a missile/rocket, but it wasn't one. Everyone started calling it a missile and a rocket, and when they asked the government if they launched any missiles or rockets they said no.. and they didn't know what it was because they were looking for missiles and rockets, not aircraft. They probably knew there was aircraft in the area, but they were looking for rockets and missiles....

It's one big misunderstanding after another and you are letting a huge misunderstanding dictate what you believe.

It's just an aircraft. It doesn't even look like a rocket/missile to tell you the truth. If you watch the video, it's not even going fast enough to be a rocket.

....but conspiracy theorist will continue to speculate anyway.....

The plane was taking off, and it was flying AWAY from the heli...The optical illusion presented itself as though it was flying straight up.

That isn't the explanation being given. they say the base of the trail is really really far away and "appears" to be just off the coast. Even if it were a plane taking off why would the trail begin off the coast and appear to be at sea level? If you look at missile launches from Russia or N. Korea you will see almost identical contrails even up to the tip where you could plainly see there was something being propelled.. a helicopter over the sea recording it would most definitely be able to tell if the base of the trail was in the distant horizon.

If it is indeed just a plane taking off, then being as that event happens like every minute from some airports it should be easy to see it again and again.

Could somebody living in that area tell us if this is a sight they see all the time.

More people are paying attention to these types of contrails. 24 hours after the helicopter crew footage people in California are still reporting 'missile launches'. More evidence that people are simply mistaking airliner contrails for ballistic missile launches.
