It doesn't matter where he was born, John McCain was born outside the USA and he was a legally acceptable candidate for the highest office.

Why? Because he was born to at least one US citizen even if he chose to claim dual citizenship with Nicaragua.

Obama, whom I did NOT vote for, is a US citizen NO MATTER WHERE HE WAS BORN, because his mother was a US citizen. End of story.

The offical birth certificate is Very Important. We have a right to know that Barry is "natural born".

BUT, Just as important is his Draft record. The question is:

WHAT SSN# DID Barry USE WHEN HE REGISTERD FOR THE DRAFT? Where did this SSN originate?

DOES IT MATCH THE SSN# HE USED FOR COLLEGE?, PASSPORT?, etc

The questions that surround Barry's Social Security Numbers are as important , maybe more because using a false ssn# is a FELONY.

Wrong. Check your facts again. He was born on a military installation, by at least one American citizen. There is no doubt as to his citizenship, based on the laws of naturalization.

FYI, look up information on US embassies and military bases and installations. Google and Wiki are your friends.

John McCain was born of two US citizens, on a US military base, in the Canal Zone, Panama, which was under US control (a territory) at the time.

Heck by your standards, McCain is twice the American Obama is, as both McCain's parents were US citizens.

I agree that everything is not on the up and up with Mr. Obama.
I have never seen a Candidate run for president that we could not really find anything about. Now that he has been elected we have found out some but I feel there is a lot that we may never know.
There will be many investigations starting in a couple of months.
With all of that being said, what will the truth accomplish now? He has been in office for two years. We can't get the stimulus money back, we can't get the bail out money back. We might be able to get the HC bill overturned. That would be a plus.
For the most part if we remove him from office now it will just cause more turmoil in our country at a time when we really need stabilization. Reality sucks huh?

This would explain why Obama does what he does, he could be getting blackmailed pure and simple. They may have the goods and came to him one day after the elections and told him we know and have the evidence. Also for this stuff to start coming out tells me that things are starting to unravel and unravel fast for his administration.

Maybe we should go back a few presidents and do a thorough background check. Hell, maybe we should have been doing this all along.
We might find a few nasty surprises. I understand that Reagan had a pedophile operation running out of the white house that almost aired prime time, but got, um....canceled. I wonder why? But the story does not end there.

McCain was born on a U.S. Military base - sovereign U.S. Territory. If Nicaragua wanted to let him apply for citizenship, that's their prerogative.

Example - I get a wife and go to Korea as part of my job in the military. We decide to have a child there and it is born on base. That child is a U.S. citizen. That child is not eligible for Korean citizenship status.

Obama's citizenship status is a fairly dicey one and probably falls outside of existing legal guidelines and precedents.
