This footage is kind of old but it still raises questions. I can guarantee you the footage is real because it was filmed by a friend of mine who called me right after he filmed it and showed me the footage straight from the camera. Can any of you roughly estimate the size of this object?

There have been other similar types of ufo's witnessed. At 0:30 in this interview with former astronaut Story Musgrave he describes seeing an "eel" ufo twice. The way he describes it is similar to the footage taken by my friend.

Looks like one of them "space critters" to me. Might I suggest an ATS search on space critters/ worms or organisms. There is some excellent and thorough insight into the phenomenon.

Peace,

Looks like a solar balloon to me more than it does a "space critter"
Then again I dont know what a "space critter" looks like

Interesting video. Seems real, and the kid's reaction would suggest so too. The only thing I wonder about with these shape of UFO, is the impractical nature of it. I mean, surely there could be no one inside, it can't be an actual mechanical thing. I'd say the most likely exlanation given the movements etc would be a long box kite of some sort.

Yes, it could absolutely bend like that.

This is a 50 foot long solar balloon, and it looks very much like the black object in the video in the OP:

Would you mind explaining why in this case balloon would be nonsense?

Looks like a typical solar balloon. I've watched people launch big ones in the park near where I work on a regular basis. You can even build your own.

This may explain what your friend recorded, I don't doubt your friend's video is real but the
object most probably is mundane. Check this similar object in the sky.

If you need more evidence just ask.

I removed this post, as I was questioning the zoom, I know think it is in fact the same as the solar balloon that was posted earlier in this thread and I commented on after this post.

I'd have said solar balloon too, i bought one for my kids last summer, it was 8m long and if not inflated enough it looks just like that in the sky.

Thanks for the vid.

Simple a mundane logical answer is not exciting thats the problem why have the truth when a story is far better

And if you really want to get creative you could take a very long solar balloon and tie small white helium filled party balloons every couple feet to make it look like it's 'releasing spheres'...
