sorry i come from germany i dont know if it is normal that a truck is escorted like that in america. But in terms of security here it would be normal to have 2 cars with blinking lights. but this one...looks special.
what do u think it is?

Do you live near a military base by chance? That looks like a missile detail. The truck hualing the big with with "american " on the side, those looked like standard missile containers that tomahawk cruise missiles or trident missiles are stored in when they are being delivered to vessels. Such deliveries are also escorted in a similar manner as this.

The aircraft you saw were likely part of the escore. My opinion is that a batch of trident missiles was being delivered to a SSBM going out on patrol. This type of escort is standard for such things.

yep definitely a SSBM loading detail. The crane following the truck will be used to lower the trident nuclear missiles individually into the submarines silos.

They are probably being taken from Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach , to the sub base south in sandiego.

This was actually covered on another ATS thread a few weeks (months?) ago. However, that video clip was a very short one that started at the point where the camera car was some distance behind the convoy of flashing lights, and it was very unconvincing as a UFO story.

If memory serves, it was pretty much written off as a hoax made by some bored teenagers in California one night. What is interesting to note is that the first sequence (up to about 00:40), was not included in that video clip.

Even at that, this is not a UFO case - as much as the kids in the video would want it to be.

Having seen the trucks in the convoy in the current video, I do have some thoughts on what was seen:

1.) Whatever else we are seeing, this level of security is NOT normal for a typical large or wide load movement. However for especially large or heavy loads a police escort is fairly routine.

2.) The heightened security seems to be more focused on traffic/pedestrian control than on guarding the cargo. Notice that there is only 1 police vehicle at the rear of the convoy initially. Only when the convoy stopped did the police cruisers cover the rear.

3.) Whatever is being transported is incredibly heavy, requiring a special trailer with many more wheels than is normal. The company name on this special trailer is "American Heavy Moving and Rigging". (www.americanheavymoving.com...). A quick look through their website reveals that this is not even their biggest transporter, but its pretty close.

4.) The reported location is fairly close to any number of seaport operations both civilian and military. In fact, if you look at some of the pictures and videos at the companys website, there are quite a few dockside photos.

Given these observations, i conclude that these kids, out for an evenings joyride, happened across this heavy moving company doing what they do - transporting an unusually heavy load towards the docks. At the sight of all the flashing lights (many of which were on the companys trucks not police vehicles) they intercepted the convoy and were blown away by the sheer size of the operation. At that point either their imaginations ran wild and they mistook the police helo for something unreal, or they decided to take their footage and create a UFO hoax. Personally I'm inclined to think that they were sincere, but completely mistaken in what they were actually witnessing. It kind of makes me wonder what they were smoking...but I digress..LOL

Note: Had it been any kind of a nuclear transport there would have been a military escort, not only civilian police.

Sorry, but the container on the transporter is simply too small to house a Trident missile. And the crane truck is a normal heavy duty "wrecker". The folks at American Heavy Moving travel with tow trucks, tool trucks and virtually everything they need to get the load moving again should they experience a breakdown.

I had actually thought at first that it might be a reactor for a submarine, but again no military presence (unless the air cover is military, and we don't know that).

If we knew the date this was taken, I'll bet a call to the folks at American Heavy might be fruitful. If their website is any indication, they are not the least bit shy about the work that they do and some of the things that they can transport.

Honestly, when I saw the last video all I could think was that a truck of that size, moving quite quickly, would have a serious problem stopping and starting all the time. It would be easier for it to travel late at night/early morning, with an escort, to just run straight through areas that typically have heavy traffic. If it had to stop at every traffic light, there would be a delay in it getting moving again and it would hold up traffic. There's also more chance of load shifts.
As for its cargo? Meh. Industrial equipment.

yep, ur right
they are too small to be Tridents.
However, they are NOT too small
to be warheads of some type.
But if they were warheads, you
would have seen a military escort.

How about this the thing you see them transporting looks more like a large generator or a large electric transformer and you can see the wires on it that will be tied into the power lines.



This is just a few pictures of electrical transformers for substations. That is what it looks like to me and I may be wrong but it is very close to what I see in the video.

Also note the smaller trucks following the large transport are carrying the smaller parts that are used to hookup a large tranformer at a substation. Sorry as much as I would love for this to be something else IMO it isnt anything special just large electrical parts being moved to a place for hookup.

At least it was more entertaining than a hollywood movie....

At the end of the footage they are yelling and looking at some lights in the sky that appeared to be turning different colors including odd tones like magenta and violet and such... the camera was out of focus though...

One of the youtube posters told the author to sell his footage and leave the country by boat before the feds caught him


If these folks were just chasing a load of power station equipment,
Imagine the pandemonium that happens if real saucers start coming in swarms...best have some good fallout shelter located.. the most danger will be from joe q. public

If it were real a hollywood movie would look like the three stooges episode. I would love to say this is real,but if you notice the front of the object on the truck you can see the wires that are used to hookup to the powerlines. Also if you can get a good look at one of the last vehicles I would bet it s from a power company or a sub contractor for the power company. The helicopters we hear are probably police helicopters spotting for the escort of police vehicles. This way they can move ahead and help with traffic control.

Yeah it looks like that to me also... tried finding large round transformers that look like what's in the footage, but couldn't so far... but the equipment is obviously some terrestrial manufactured hardware..

Not sure what the people chasing it think they are seeing..

Also google large electrical transformers and you should find what you need. Also you will get some things about the transformers movie and cartoon images but just weed through those and you will find it.

There's nothing besides their commentary to even suggest this is a UFO. By the type of trailer we can determine that it's very heavy and it doesn't look aerodynamic for starters. Does this really look like anything any of us would consider to be a UFO?



A police escort for a super load isn't unusual and neither is them doing so at night. I think I only saw three police vehicles which really isn't that many, is it? Two to block traffic at intersections, one for each side, and one to lead and/or another to trail. There's less traffic to control at night and it's a common practice. You can't even hear the police when they allegedly yell danger so the context is unknown. It could've been a driver who wasn't paying attention and, well....a large, heavy piece of equipment and a big truck are, well....by definition dangerous, aren't they? Watch the video while muted and tell me what you see.
