Nature getting even with Evil Monsanto, Finally Reaping Its Just Desserts ..

I read the NYT article just for more information on the anti-trust investigation. The only sentence in the whole article was:

Some farmers have said they often have to buy traits they do not need — such as protection from the corn rootworm in regions where that pest is not a problem — to get the best varieties. This issue has surfaced in the antitrust investigation.

What antitrust investigation? Is it still underway, or was it swept under the rug? I haven't heard a thing since last year on it when they were ooh'ing and aahh'ing that Obama was going to fix it. Monsanto's dominance draws antitrust inquiry

I guess it's one more hope dashed.

I hope to god I live long enough to see this company go down,there are some things you just don't mess with and one of them is mother nature.When I see the backbone of our country like the farmers suffering financially ethically and every other way it angers me to the point that I truly believe this company is real evil that the devil himself runs it.I don't get what our judicial system is doing always siding with monsanto,if they don't get a clue and help these farmers we are all going to be in the toilet.

what's funny is that alot of fruits and vegetables has their own insect resistance built into them naturally they are books written about that(I think one is called keys to food),not all but quite a few,that and using organic techniques you don't need to genetically modify at all.I'm buying a good supply organic seeds this year unless they try to outlaw that as well.

My personal opinion about Monsanto is that they actually believe that they "could end hunger" and that was with the introduction of "genetically modified seeds" so farmers around the world will not have to suffer from crop related loses due to nature.

But along the way "someone go greedy in Monsanto power pyramid "and when they became aware that their genetically modified seeds were actually working they wanted control of seeds all over the world, making the crops "sterile" they could force countries to buy into their ready seeds.

But what they were no expecting was to have so much opposition because their seeds were cross pollinating with other crops and killing them.

The government has been trying to keep hidden the facts that GMO crops are dangerous to human consumption Is plenty of threads in ATS with what independent studies are showing.

Monsanto company has grown to big for its own good, with projects of world seed domination, greedy government officials were attracted to Monsanto and their projections for global control.

This is playing with human life and life hood.

The sad part here is not that mother nature found a way but instead the organic weeds are no longer organic, thus there product should not be patentable. When it happen to food its property why should it be any diff for the weeds?
Monsanto should have to remove there patented weeds from all farms for the farmers. lol

These people are just waiting their turn in line for when the world as we know it crumbles...

Thats really interesting! But ofcourse they would, otherwise they would not have survived for as long as they have. Its all just a scandal to make us think our fruits and veg wont survive without it.

It saddens me to no end, that "they" can get away with so much right next to us, that we decide to grant satisfaction to our indignity with the "punishments" rational society has come up with.
It makes me wonder the true state of human consciousness when we let them deploy military tactics against humanity as a whole, they aren't just messing around with some countries productions, they are messing with "reality" itself, the paradox will be more than enough to finally makes us realize that "we" are more than "them"

You folks are forgetting half the story. Monsanto comes in and pressures all the Midwestern co-ops and strong-arms them into selling only certain seeds then the other half of the Major Agra-Mafia ,Cargill, comes in and screws with all the grain silo prices and buys up and controls all the access to the transportation of said grain from Monsanto products to market, leaving the farmers only one way to continue and that's play the Monsanto/Cargill shuffle. It's almost Malthusian in scope.

Monsanto develops the Genetic time bombs. Forces it on the market and lets it's partner in crime, Cargill, manage how it gets to market and the pricing. God forbid you buy other natural seeds and plant and Mother Nature blows some of the pollen from your crop onto your neighbor's Monsanto product crop. You then get sued for cross pollenation contamination and loose your farm to some corporate farm controlled in the background by these two criminal enterprises!

It should be noted that there is absolutely nothing wrong in making a profit. People work to make money... that's what makes the world go 'round... in a manner of speaking, of course. The problem arises here with Monsanto, just as it has throughout history, when human greed prompts such behavior as we see here with the same.

Whether or not you believe in God, I think we can agree and hope that Monsanto goes to hell.

Money is an illusion that only has any value because HUMANS give it value. The true Value is Life and it is unfortunate that 99% of HUMANS have forgotten that. Life is so precious that in our Solar System we only know of 1 planet capable of sustaining it. So far even the handful of other planets in the Goldi Locks zone are So far apart. If HUMANS would value life that is undoubtedly more rare than any precious metal, than there would truly be some progress in the world.

I know, everyone here is going to say things like who are you to tell us this or tell us that? Where do you get your information from? You have to have money to survive.

Money, is a control factor thats only job is to keep you depressed, because there is never going to be enough for you. Find worth in yourself and use it. YOU are Valuable, Don't sell yourself to them. Don't be a slave.
Do you know what the trade and barter system forked for so long until about 10,000 years ago(going by modern paradigm that is) Because it gives value to everyone. Everyone is skilled at something(And guess what you don't have to go to school to learn it either) if you harness it you are more powerful because you are the leader not Big Brother.
Money has completely switched over to a TRUE illusion. The only thing keeping it there is your belief in it. There is no gold backing or silver backing.
Just remember Everyone is valuable if you let yourself be. Money doesn't have anything to do with that.

But I was traveling yesterday around my neck of the woods and I saw something that warmed my hart In Ga ready seeds for corn has been banned by farmers, it was nothing more beautiful that seed already harvest fields of corn growing random crops by nature from the spilled organic seeds of the last season if they were sterile they will never grow at all wild.

So is still hope. . .
