Please dont take the conversation off the forum...These pieces of evidence come to ATS to get picked apart. Its all about getting a group of people together and figure out what is going on. You dont have to agree with anyone elses ideas or criticsm, and if it is something special than you should be able to prove that, right? You trying to take people off the thread honestly ticks me off and is very ignorant.

I would not want to see this conversation taken off the forum privately either, but I do understand why some people desire to do so. After the fiasco of trolling and constant arguing and bickering in the El Paso lights thread, yes I see why people are weary of this. No one is saying "we must all agree". It's just the continual nit picking and bickering that derails what could be a great conversation. It's when one or two posters do nothing but sit in a thread and repeat the same thing over and over, drilling their point in until people get sick of it and become aggravated by it. I think this thread is very mild in comparison to the El Paso one, and hope that we can continue the conversation here.

I think it would be good to allow people who do believe that the object is a UFO, to have some room for discussion too, without having people constantly interject insults and attacks. The normal flow of conversation is interrupted sometimes, and so how is it possible for them to analyze anything when it's interrupted? Just saying... that's just my opinion, and I'm not trying to tell anyone how they should post. I do notice though that some posters are out to shut down any form of conversation that might lean toward something being a UFO. Thanks.

of course we cant tell for sure distance , size , shape , origin...we are still not yet sure of what hit the pentagon dooh.

For me..i can estimate a large object too..from what my eyes can tell me..i can be fooled..by this is what my brain is telling me...now where's the big deal ?!

See that's what people mean, the poster was clearly speaking about themselves!

Pseudoskeptiks grabbing a simple line such as "it could have been an rc craft" then shouting loudly for a number of pages as if their "could be" carries any more weight than another posters "could be" ppee's me off, just because it's lazy and poor form, what can you expect from followers of the errrrr great randy, as he proved to be!

There are a number of physics phd holders who believe in Alien nuts and bolts visitation, so any pseuds thinking they're on an easy wicket simply because they think FTL travel is impossible and necessary for interstellar journeys ergo such can't take place may be in for a shock sooner than they think.

I think this is the best looking video I have seen... I doubt its 'alien' because if you were some off-world travellers wondering to earth you wouldn't stick a great big halogen light on your backside.

So this leaves me to believe the craft is most likely ours, probably some military experimental craft.

That's not to say I think this vid is the real thing, easy to fake and no substantive proof put it on shaky ground, if you live in or near a rough area where leo copters often search for crooks or growers you could wait for the copters to appear then reflect a kids £1 led badge in the window you're shooting through and position the led so it's apparently being circled.

I have a Sony hard drive handy cam nice video camera, but the other day I was having focus issues with the bright moon, I see it happening this guys video also.

My first thought was it was a rather large object, just by comparing the helicopter lights and the many pulsing lights , and when he zooms back out, you kinda get a sense of the scale of things.

I honestly couldn’t tell how large it was compared to the other two white lights around it. The blue lights are spaced apart pretty far, which kinda gives the impression of it being larger.

He sounded genuine when he said “that’s going on ******youtube” . I agree with others, about the length of the video should’ve been longer.

It’s a pretty interesting video. Other than my 2cents I don’t have anything to add to help figure this one out.(honestly this aint in my field of interest, but still interesting )

seems like a credible video, the lights are quite compelling and abnormal

Thank you so much for coming to ATS to share information about the video with us! It is a rare treat to be able to have a discussion with the photographer of a UFO video, and it is VERY much appreciated. And please do not take anything personal here, we are all out to find the truth - no matter what it is. Some of us are more skeptical than others, but that does not mean that we think you are lying or attempting to hoax us.

I also have a suggestion for you. There are many clubs in the US for people who have RC planes/toys as a hobby, and simply in an effort to rule out that what you saw were RC toys with leds, perhaps it would be a good idea to contact such a club in your area. You (or anyone else familiar with the district) could ask them if they know about anyone doing night flying the night you filmed the crafts, or if they recognize them at all. I think it could be worth a try, and I hope someone from US will give it a shot. (I live in Norway myself and I am not familiar with the Washington DC area at all, and it would be difficult for me to ask about spesific locations suitable for RC night flying.)

I found one such club, it may be a good place to start asking some questions?

I dont have enough post to start a new topic and forgive me everyone if this has been posted before but I was over in the religion section and someone posted a video of what they thought was an angel...It turned out to be one of the best footage of a UFO I have seen. Footage was filmed in space.
