Whats the craziest dream or nightmare you ever had

When i was a child 8 to16 I used to have the same dream over and over again of me playing outside my house in the park out front. The weird thing was that the park would be on a hill about 60 feet high. In real life the park isn't on a hill at all, it freaked me out.
I didn't understand it. was it a message, other dimension, or a different existence,I don't know.
Has anyone had a weird dream or nightmare. please share stories we might read something sick.

When I was a youngster I had this recurring dream I was on a motorized skateboard being chased by the police down the local highway lol. They never could catch me

I'm tellin ya I have no idea why I always had it, I was never in trouble with the law, never arrested, not even a ticket when I got older. Maybe it was my rebel trying to come out in dream lol

The craziest dream I can remember involved going to the local public swimming pool with my family. My father was in line, waiting to jump off the diving board, when I noticed sharks in the water! I tried the best I could to alert everyone in the pool and out of the pool not to jump in, but no one listened to me! That dream has always stuck with me. I also once had a dream where I stumbled upon a tiger was in my room!

I have had recurring dreams for several years now where a situation arises where I need to fight someone. This is very strange, because I have never been in a fight and avoid confrontation. In the dream, I always take a swing, and my fist is stopped by an invisible barrier over their face. Sometimes I continue to throw punches to see if maybe I just missed- nope! Out of every time I have had this dream, my fists have never made contact.

Riding a dirtbike on top of a deli counter, and Will Ferrell as Mustafa (from Austin Powers) threw a hot dog at my head. I think I was chasing him.

I woke up laughing hysterically. Thinking about it still makes me laugh hard.

If there is an opposite of a nightmare, this was it.

I was just having a snooze and dreamt that a Mod will eventually come and edit your ALL CAP TITTLE.

Because thats a no no.

But maybe I`m dreamin?

The craziest dream I've ever had seemed to last about 5 mins.

I was with 2 other people, we were all wearing jesus looking clothing.. robes/rope sandals. We were hurrying along this narrow dirt path in the mountains overlooking an ocean. I looked ahead and saw an opening in the side of the mountain, and I knew we had to get inside as fast as possible. I looked to my right, and then up, and there was a wall of water, probably half a mile high, about to come crashing down on me. The craziest part was how I felt in the dream. I've never felt those emotions before in real life. Looking up and realizing that I was about to die. The most helpless feeling ever. I was so scared and frozen with panic but there wasn't anything I could do about it. I just stood there and held my breath. Right before the water hit me I woke up.

It seemed so real. I remember the gorgeous blue color of the ocean, and the brighteness and heat from the sun.
Maybe I was dreaming of a past life?

I had a spectacular dream once when I was around 14. In the dream I was walking out of a treeline from a forest and then across a huge grassy field toward a group of people in the center, maybe 12 or so, sitting scattered around on lawn chairs facing in the same direction like they were watching a drive-in (or in this case, sit-in) movie. It was very late, and the sky was clear and pitch black, and it was very warm out, like summer. I sat down and looked up to see an incredibly massive comet moving very slowly across the sky in space. It was absolutely breathtaking. Its tail was glowing, almost sparkling white exactly the way the moon does. An extremely beautiful, colossal near-earth comet. Only just recently did I learn of Comet McNaught's appearance in 2007, and I was totally blown away to see such a similarity to my dream. Ya I've had dreams where I know where I am yet the landscape is totally different, like more investment was put on landscaping, like there was a landscaping-gardener-congressional complex instead of a military-industrial-congressional complex that exists in our universe.

I feel great when I have these dreams, which I only had a few. I feel great because it reminds me that there is the remote chance that multiuniverses exist, and that my parallel self is kicking it up in a world done right.

I've had sick dreams too, I was in a torture chamber once but it was like I was just passing through the scene, right to the lovely gift shop at the end of the chamber.

I sometimes have dreams where im fighting or have assorted confrontations, sometimes in the style of video games when it's a 'war' situation where I remember the multiplayer first person shooters.

I once had a dream where I was a member one of the Iraqi insurgent factions- there were a big group of us in a building filled out with weapons, maybe we were milita HQ near a body of water, maybe a lake or coastal, but anyways, a suicide bomber came in the building and I recongized he had a bomb and I shouted 'GET OUT!' and pulled a guy with me through the window of the building where we fell two floors to the floor of an narrow alleyway next to a wall while the bomb exploded. I became separated from the guy I pulled out, and ran like heck into the street, and saw an M1 Abrams tank rumbling towards me through the dust. I made a mad dash into the hedges and tried to hide while SHTF all around me. I don't remember much but it was very entertaining!

Oh, I just love the dreams where you feel like your legs are encased in lead and it takes you AGES to walk from point a to b, and your legs feel sluggish as hell. I found some literature on the net that suggests the legs thing is caused by the legs moving around in bed and influencing the dream.

Maybe your dream was of something you thought as ideal- IE you wished the park you went to had a hill.

I want to make a thread but I guess members with under 20 post can't? That's pretty lame but anyways. The weirdest dream I ever had was in Feb 2008, it was a lucid dream and I seen a picture of me on a fire place mantle so I went over and checked it out and it was actually my eulogy which bugged me out (didn't sleep for 4 days, literally) I've only told the date to my mother, brother and sister but it's not that far away and I'm kind of freaked out. What really bugs me out is even in lucid dreams it's really hard for me to read anything and if I do I can never really remember. This was completely different, as soon as I seen it I immediately woke myself up (couldn't move for a good 30 seconds) then I called my mother and was crying but she's probably forgot about it by now lol.

Since I was little, no younger than 5, I have always had reoccurring dreams of the world ending. Odd/scary I know but nonetheless true. I can never figure out why. It's always with water for some reason. The water either recedes and then it's a tsunami type deal or flood and I'm always alive among a few others and it's literally wiped out everything. Not sure what's that about.
A dream even freakier than that is when I was young also I would continue to have dreams of my brother leaving and never coming back. He happened to pass away last year. Rest In Love....I was having that dream every so often until he passed. The first dream I keep having every now and then. Freaks me out....

last night i dream't that my grandma came back to life for 4 days during my finals. she called me up and told me that we had lots of good times together and she wants me to stay at school and do good on my tests and we'll see eachother after life. i told her that i could skip the tests since this was such a monumental event and deal with the consequences later. and the dream ended with me trying to decide whether or not to go home and see her. i've actually been tossing the idea around in my head all day haha.

i have crazy dreams every night. the one that had me waking up thankful that it didnt realy happen was a dream were i went blind in my left eye.. looked like an old tv that turned off if ya know what i mean. like static that shrunk into a line or dot in the center of the screen. what a trip i had lol

iv heard that we cant read in dreams yet iv had many where i was reading a news paper clipping iv found on the ground or the bottom of the tv where i was reading the news like cnn has. i wonder why we forget experinces in dreams yet remember unimportant experinces in life

The wierdest dream that sticks out from childhood is of a black background like space containing lots of coloured lines wrapping around each other and extending to infinity. The lines were paths and I had no idea which way or which path I should go on and the whole vastness of it made me scared. The dream seemed to last AGES, wandering around lost and frustrated and I remember it still now.

I since read that people don't usually dream in colour but this one definitely was. Nowdays I don't have random dreams any more, which is a shame as I would quite like to be surprised again. Now my dreams are about whatever subject I pick before I sleep.

I have a very active dream life and tons of nightmares so choosing one is hard.

Lately my nightmares usually involve being lost in a city that is both familiar and odd at the same time, either replicas of bits of London but changed back to a kind of medieval looking place with hundreds of twisty roads, hills and narrow streets. Doors that go nowhere or lead back to where they came from and people that tell me the wrong directions or look at me as a stranger.
Other times the landscapes are desolate waste lands that go on forever with no horizon and I am trying to find a train station

I also recently had a very odd nightmare where I was stuck in a retail park, and in one of the shops there was a strange dispensing machine that would dispense eyes for a coin, no one would give me a coin and I realised that one of my eyes was in the machine.

There was another one where I was my nephew (In New Hampshire) and a gang of fundamentalists Christians were beating me up with sticks covered in barbed wire, then they drove off in a Black Van..

iv heard that before that most dreams are in black and white or monochrome but iv never had a dream that wasnt in color that i can remember.

The most unusual dream I have had is in two parts the first I was on top of a mountain at night in the background you could see fire/flames nearly as tall as the mountain itself there was a lone grave I was at, it was the only thing with greenery on it the weird thing being my eyes colored parts were blood red (I have blue) and my hair was snow white. Second I could see the fire and the first mountain in the background (still night but It was a full moon now) being on a second peak I was level with it my hair and eyes was still odd but in the valley were thousands of people waiting, a man in a black suit walked up and put his hand on my shoulder then he raised his hand and the mass of people cheered load. I have always wanted to find someone to help me understand this dream!

The nightmare i had is that i was chased by someone and they wanted to kill me ,so i ran ,but the end is that i had no way out and was killed,horrible...
