I think they are thanking the El Paso military base (Biggs Army Airfield) for 28 years of service.

I think they might hold an airshow once a year.

What kind of air display has 8 skydivers when only 4 are visible??
Doesn't make sense. Can you explain that?

Oh....my.
www.elpasotimes.com...

Well that settles it as far as I'm concerned.

Practicing for an airshow. And I think that most of the anomalies and/or unusual aspects of the video can be explained by its poor quality and inconsistent focus.

This sighting is busted.

That video was there when originally posted...except it was the long version and it included several skydivers jumping out one after the other, but in somewhat long intervals...far more than three...and it looks closer to Dusk in the video. What time was this "UFO" spotted?

Once a year, and no one ever noticed them practice before?
I wonder why.

The airshow is on Sunday.

Look up in the sky: Golden Knights practice free falls to delight of spectators

They were skydivers. The UFOs are now IFOs. Identified Falling Objects.

Your point? The US Golden Knights travel to different places. They just happened to be in El Paso yesterday and today and tomorrow. They just happen to do exactly identical maneuvers as the OP's video...

This is done...

Takes my hat off to Phage . Dont think anyone else would have nailed this so fast. It was not at all obvious. I thought you were grasping at stars at first.

They hold an airshow once a year. I didn't say the US Army Golden nights perform at that airshow once a year.

Even though they performed in 2008, and 2009.....

I guess people are just idiots and forgot, or they didn't notice.

I can accept the Golden Knights theory but there is no way these are flares.

I was given a box of 20 flares recently, 5 hand held flares,12 parachute flares and 2 streak-like flares and none of them resembled what is seen in the OP's video.

Peace.

Were they scheduled to practice tomorrow, and if this is clearly Golden Knights, why was that not specified in new reports? You would think they would seek clearance if they were going to be practicing. Also on the video in the article that Phage posted, the timing seems to be right around dusk. When were the shots from both the news report and the youtube video taken?

Here. Try this. But the video quality is good so if you squint you might get the effect of the poor quality video in the OP.

I think thats an opinion, not a fact.
Have you got the time for this display?
Surely they video their practice jumps for training.Have you got that video?

The OP's vid was not poor quality. It was shot by a reporter.
Please stick to facts.Personally I think the OP's vid is great quality and does not look like skydivers.

He sure has a hard time keeping the video in focus.
Maybe they need a new photographer.
