Exactly, I've been watching the cam for over an hour and not one has appeared. How strange considering that just prior sometimes 4 or 5 would appear at the same time in the frame. Also I've never seen planes remain stationary in the sky or appear as bright orbs, weird. Must be a new type of plane.

I can personally attest to the fact that it's pretty cool here tonight and the sky is very clear. The thing is, that even on a good night, you can only see a handful of stars in the city and often times those "stars" are, in fact, planets. I believe the general rule is that stars twinkle and planets don't.

If they are aliens, you guys are seeing, I hope they come down and conquer us, and make us take a intelligent test for the right to breath!!

I am surprised some people around here can figure out how to do that without getting confused...

By the way I am in touch with some people on the northeastern seaboard, and None of them are seeing UFO's out their windows, and none of them see lil green aliens. .

Hahaha pal, you want this to be aliens and disclosure so badly don't you? It's ok, I can understand that.

But this isn't it man... I'm really sorry to be the one to tell you this. This excitement you are feeling right now will soon give way to the mundane, trust me. I hope you won't be TOO upset when that moment arrives for you.

Something questionable happened above the city of NY today, it was probably baloons, maybe E.T ship, who knows.

By the way it is absolutely correct that airports divert air traffic away from cities as it gets later in the night, so that explains the lack of air traffic you are now seeing on the camera of earthcam.

One day E.T's might arrive in giant motherships, just don't hole your breath, and don't be too upset when a few hours or days from now these threads fade into nothing and the excitement dies

You are an idiot. Planes do not appear out of thin air nor do they remain stationary. If these objects were planes then why hasn't a single one appeared on the cam stream in over an hour?

Atlas of Flight Traffic Over US

Only one example, you can find many on the web. Traffic slows way down in the airways during the late night and into the very early morning.

If you do some more reading you will see that the vast majority of airlines have slowed down the actual flight speeds of the airplanes as well to conserve fuel so this could be another reason things are slower.

I am not trying to debunk anything so please don;t take it as that. I just know that about 99% of this stuff can be explained rationally while the other 1% is really something that has no logical explanation. The problem is that the other 1% is real hard to find.

I recorded for about ten minutes starting at 11pm Eastern USA. Have patients, the feed seemed slow, but I have Fios & it was not to bad from New York to Florida watching in live stream...

They may have been planes. I took the raw video and watch in at fast speed to see if I could detect a pattern. There seems to be one. In the video they come from the right hand side, do a loop around and head up at about a 45degree angle. May be planes, not sure.

i said the video .. is a full report and shows objects in the night sky
i mentioned NOTHING about the picture which is refering to the daylight incident..
i said the video which is a totally different case altogether

I live by Hartsfeild/ Jackson Airport too. I also see the same things you mention.

I wonder what is could be. I have friends in NY haven't heard anything yet.
