I don't get mad at this my friend. I accept it as your truth. Are you willing to accept that 3+3=9 as my truth?

Numbers are symbols just like words. Everyone has the free will to assign value to the symbols. It is their expression of their reality. Many would agree with your version that 3+3=6, because this is how they were taught to think. However, once one has accepted his free will, and the responsibilities that go with it, he realises that anything can be anything that he wants.

3+3=9 is true. So long as the understanding that 9 represents 111111. 6, six, are just symbols that have been taught to us by others who chose that is the correct symbol for the thought. While it unites us, it also strips from us our right to find our own truths our own symbols to represent thought. In fact, it teaches us NOT to search for our own symbols.

Common symbols are great to help us communicate thought, but one gives up a fair portion of free will to share that commonality. This is to expedite our communication. Afterall, we don't want to spend too much time trying to understand each other. Lets make it is quick as possible, that we may get back to building things, instead of building a bond between us.

With Love,

Your Brother

I kind of like where you are going with this. It gets very tiresome to read all the threads on ATS where a poster puts up one verse in English translation with no context and claims it proves or disproves the entire Bible or religion or anything.
