I would just like to let NASA know, that camera's that take perfectly good color shots with just 1 shot have been around since the 70's and before, that you can go into any walmart and buy a camera from cheap to expensive that does not need to use 3 red/blue/green shots to make a color photo
that being said, who the hell is building these satelites the flintsones?

The lie has to be different at every level in order for the entire assemblage of lies to ultimately control all the rest of us and to contain the truth. And by “contain” I don’t mean "encapsulate", I mean suppress it. Keep it away. - Richard Hoagland

What would it be like to see a sky with many moons? Such is the sky above Saturn.
Combining 8 images spanning April 4 through April 15, this composite tracks their progress through skies above Portsmouth, UK.
Don't panic, the Sun has not gone wild. But this wild-looking portrait of the nearest star to planet Earth was made on March 30th by the recently launched Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO). Shown in false-color...

I think it works as follows, but I'm no photographer either, They have three cameras, Red, Green and Blue, so they have to take three separate pictures and then combine them to get a true colour version. A bit like shining a white light into a prism, on the other side the light is refracted and you see a spectrum. This is doing things in reverse. My understanding though is that the moon had shifted between each picture so in order to line them up properly the editor cut the first two moons out and positioned them directly on top of each other, This of course left a ruddy big gash in the final product so was covered over with black.
My question is this;
Why has NASA employed a complete novice to do this kind of work for them???
I'm by no means a photoshop "expert" but know enough to have done a much better job of covering my tracks than that. It looks like a 5 minute rush job to me.

Here's the image I made, which was a relatively quick and dirty color composite of three views of Titan and Dione captured by Cassini through red, green, and blue filters. If you download this image and open it in a paint program and increase the contrast, you'll see the brush strokes on the night side of Dione where I painted out some misalignment in the three component images that resulted from Dione's apparent motion across Titan in the time that separated the three frames. Which is apparently a NASA conspiracy.

you know we can sit here and speculate all day, the thing is that "we the taxpayers" should be able to see the photos raw untouched right after they have been taken its what we pay for,and then if they want to pretty them up then do it.the thing is nobody knows what is being hidden but a handful of people and their not talking...
