That's what I'm saying, IAMIAM. You can love 'em and still state the truth. Sometimes you have to be forceful for the truth to be heard. I try not to be hateful, just forceful. I am not expected to be a doormat for anybody, just to speak with love and truth.

I wonder how many times people say the answer is simple..simply love your neighbor and let's not forget nature. To love another, unselfishly, is truly something that for many or perhaps most is hard to do. Our complicated minds and our complicated lives want a complicated answer. If it is so easy, then why is it so hard for most to understand? The truth is, that true unselfish love is hard to do. It requires weeding through the lies and deceptions of every system at hand. Take parenting for instance. Anyone who has the capacity to love in the truest form could not hold a child born to them and not feel the depth of love for this helpless human. It becomes more difficult to love your own child as the years roll by. It requires a great deal of patience, understanding, compassion, appreciation, forgiveness and valor to connect to the bond of love throughout the lifetime as a parent to a child. The message that is given in the bible (forgive me for quoting only one source, though there are many in other religions) that says "Do unto others as ye would have done to you" can be the very words that without understanding can be as dangerous as never attempting to hold true to those words. Our belief systems have been handed down to us through our very own genes. Our decissions we based on our familial and relatial histories are often made based on our pain and loss, as well as our gains. Our social structures also define our belief systems. Music that plays on the radio telling us what love is or is not is a classic example. Consider the old song "When a Man Loves a Woman" with words like When a man loves a woman, he can't keep his mind on nothing else. Telling us that for a man to truly love a woman he forgets the world outside. Think about that for a moment. Is that a good thing? That falling in love with a woman means that you shut everything else out of your mind. You become a drone in a way. Or how about this part when he says "If she's bad he can't see it, he'd turn his back on his best friend if he put her down". Reinforcing the loss of trust for someone who has proven themselves to you enough to call them your best friend. Even to the point that when a friend tells you the truth about a woman that he sees doing bad things to you or in general you are supposed to become so enamored that you no longer see reality. I'm sorry, but that is not love, it's called codependency. So, in essence we have been brainwashed into distorted realities of what love truly means. No loving our neighbors or our natural environment is not easy until you face your belief systems and change them. For some their idea of doing right and following those simple words of advice from the bible may be "If I kill someone I must go to hell", where another may say "if I kill someone, i'll go to jail for life" (or face the death penalty in Texas, at least). We have not always chosen our belief systems which, the big one's are formed prior to school age in life. Those are taught to us by our parents, who may or may not have a healthy set of beliefs themselves. It appears that doing onto others as we would have done to ourselves isn't clearly defined to understand the depth of those words. Especially, when our belief systems concerning love have been distorted throughout our day to day lives.

What IAMIAM has said is true in the most simplistic way. His personal religion is irrelevent. I believe he has a greater understanding than most of what it means to do unto others as we would have done to ourselves. Though, he may not be clearly defining what unselfish love really is, he is certainly trying to help in whatever way he can to spread this message. What we do to another, we do to ourselves daily. What most of us do is not really what I would prefer to call unselfish love. If we are to love our neighbors and our natural world, we must first learn the definition of the word "Love". There is a simple method to begin to learn that definition, though the road will not be without it's own trials and tribulations. The simple method? The unrelenting desire to obtain true love within yourselves. With this as your greatest motivator, life will present you with a multitude of lessons to educate you. It will give you the opportunity to find gratitude in all things. This one lesson alone will not be the easiest lesson in life. It will bring about the most painful experience, allowing you the opportunity to see (if you will look) what you will gain from the experience. Let me give share with you my lesson on "appreciation/gratitude". Four years ago, my son died from a gun shot to the head at point blank range at the age of sixteen. Ruled as suicide, later suspected to be murder without a witness or varifiable evidence. 3 days after his death, I heard that old familiar voice ringing inside my head with words that turned my stomache and put me in bed for 6 months. "Be grateful in all things" were repititious words that I heard from the soft voice. Finally, after 6 months of frustration and confusion, I finally asked "How in the %$#K am I supposed to be grateful for my son blowing a hole in his head?". The reply was immediate "You will not know if you do not look for it". I understood at that moment, that if I did not look for a reason to find gratitude in not only my own son's life, but in the loss of someone I loved more than anything or anyone in this world, I would never find such a thing. One might ask, how you could find appreciation for something so unjust and seemingly against the natural order of things. I did begin to look and I will not say that I saw it quickly or with ease, it took more than 3 years. I found it in the change within my own family and myself. We all became more appreciative for the time we shared with those we loved. We found it in learning how to forgive one another for our actions that were not loving at all times. We found it in the experience that bonded us to one another after suffering the loss of our most loved family member of all. He was the family favorite, he was the adored son, cousin, nephew, grandson and brother. There was no one that knew him that didn't love and respect him. He was an admired person, who was not always perfect, but always received perfect forgiveness by all. My exhusband who prior to my son's death had enraged the family with his reaction to our divorce, was nurtured and loved and allowed back into the family as one of the tribe, even though he and I never chose to reunite as husband and wife, we are now very close and dear friends. I owe everything to the loss of my son for learning lessons in compassion, forgiveness, understanding, valor and most of all appreciation/gratitude. These are how the lessons of life work to bring us closer to being more loving to others and in return gaining more love then we could ever imagine in return. Because of the loss of my son and the lesson of gratitude, I have been made more loving towards others and I am loved by most who come to know me today.

In closing, I will say do not shoot the messenger of simple messages. Instead, ask him to be more definining in his descriptions. For those who felt angered by his words, I will only say that we do not react to others because of who they are, but who we are. If someone's words or actions create anger within you, then ask yourself why. Behind every angry emotion within a person is a fear that is the motivator of the negative reaction. It takes pure valor to face our own fears. Once a fear has been faced, it's deception's revealed and we are freed from the bondage of it's manevolent source. There are only 2 core emotions one is love and the other is fear. What you put out is returned to you ten or even 100 fold. If you want love in return, you must put love out first. Fear will bring only more fear and the reactions of fear are always negative.

in my country and in the real world this is called Bipolar, unfortunately we have to deal with it because some refuse to seek professional or spiritual help from their neighbor.

and I say dialogue with both the scientifically medical minded and religiously spiritual minded because we can not only limit ourselves to one set of ideologies or points of view.

Whoa, slow down. Who is enlightened? I am not enlightened. I never once claimed to have any level of enlightenment. I am just a regular Ole dude. I do not consider myself to be more than anyone by any measure. All I know is that it is time to love one another like we never have before. Love is the only law that will be soon.

The reason for no more book is because it has become a symbol of division among men. People fall in love with object and forget the truths those objects contain. They become false idols. Soon, love is all there will be.

Love will be learned from the cradle to the grave. There will not need to be the book, any book. All the prophets, all the martyrs, and the savior all came to remind man to love one another. Now, those who have learned the lesson, will no longer be bound by a book, but by their hearts.

If this is bad to you, I am sorry. Open that book and find the light within, and do so quickly. Learn it and APPLY it to your every waking moment. I tell you the time is short. Open the book and open your heart.


I am not some bumple thumping church recruiting holier than thou Pharasee. I am a regular Man who had his heart forced open most unexpectedly. It is not a path I chose. When I was called, I gave everything in my life up to go home to the place whence I was born. Here, I received the instructions to do what I do. It is simple. Love everyone. Show them how they are supposed to love one another.

If you think the message doesn't apply to you, that is fine.

Before this I had my own house, I was living two states away, I had my own life. I gave it all up to go home, sleep in my fathers basement, and come on here everyday and try to put out a positive message that will reach the most diverse crowd.

Take it as you will my friend. I do not lie. I have told you the truth. There is plenty about me through out my threads here. My information does not conflict.

I don't go to church either except for sometime with my sisters family... there are so many churches and of all faiths and even different nationalities of all faiths in my country, I do not see them going away any time soon... nor do I ever want them or their values to, neither their books.
