Been a while but i read that there will be 2 new characters in the show.A female angel(can't remember the name).She's Castiel's friend and propably she will give some insight on the civil war.
The second person is Samuel Colt.The boys will travel back in time,the far west,to meet the man.Reminds you sth?
First Dean travels back in time and meets his parents.
Then he goes into the future.
And now in the old west...
Someone is a "Back to the future" fan in that show

Cant wait should have it in the next 24 hours ! And yes very much a back to the future reference. Lets just hope it doesnt jump the shark too much!

I just read the bad news.CW is rescheduling and they will air the episode next week,February 4th.

I'm more than just a little pissed about this one!

Kinda glad......I would have missed the first 20 minutes.
My daughter is having a sleepover and they were watching a movie on my big screen.
It sucks that this channel is only offered on HD, my non HD tvs do not get it.

On the upside, at least I can watch another Fringe episode tonight.

I wasjust about to post also according to tv.com it has been delayed....i was really looking forward to this! Lets just hope this isnt a sign of an impending cancellation.

whos seen the latest episode? I think the nother of all could be lucifer back or perhaps maybe bigger maybe satan? perhaps a fallen angel?

The mother of all monster.As i said before in Greek mythology the mother of all monsters was Echidna,i don't know if they will use that,but i really doubt that is Lucifer or any christian mythology figure.It could be Lilith(she died,therefor ended up in the Purgatory),but what troubles me is the virgin thing.Although in the past Lilith used little girls as vessels(aka virgins) by the end and in the final episode of season 4 she used the body of a grown woman.I have a feeling that the dragons kidnapped all those girls because the mother is such a powerful entity that the bodies will be quickly destroyed(like Lucifer's vessel).

The episode was good.Dean was hilarious,especially the scene with the sword-background epic music.Sam is back to normal.Everything seems to be in order.

I don't think it is Lilith, as Lilith was actually human once, the legend goes, that Lilith was Adam's first wife before Eve.

This "mother" is apparently the one that spawned all the alphas.

So, other than that, cool eh? Glad it's back YAY!

I am glad its finely back also. I am also glad Sam has his soul back and seems to be normal. I will hope they leave the story of Sam and his soul there and not mess with it again.
As to the dragons, they are about as good a story line as any. I would have liked to see them make amends with the lady that gave Dean the sword. Some dragon blood perhaps.
As to the mother of all. The first thought I had was a fallen angel. But I think the story line from classical mythology might be better. What ever it is I don't think it can be worse the Lucifer, as Lucifer killed most of the pagan gods in the one episode and did not break a sweat doing it. The idea that mother will need all the bodies of the virgins is probably correct.
I am mostly just glad the series is back, and that Sam is back to normal.

I have a feeling samuel will be back if its alphas or mythology im sure he has his finger in the pie still .

When Sam starts to have flashbacks from his year as a soulless hunter before he contacted Dean, the brothers receive a message leading them to a small town where Sam spent time working on a case with their grandfather, Samuel.

Looks like they may not leave sam alone after all - which does annoy me too im over the bad sam thing

Typhoeus is her mate, so he will probably surface soon.
From what I've read, they were responsible for creating some nasty monsters upon the earth.

I think this would be a good route for the story-line.

Sam knows about his last six months (thanks Cas) and seems ok with it. I hope his thin veneer holds up and keeps him sane. Bobby seems ready to kill him if he so much as looks at him wrong.

Dean appears to be protecting his brother again. Hopefully they can resume their gig without revisiting the past.

It seems everyone is agreeing that soulless Sam should be left behind and just press forward with the show. Have not heard any one say the tortured soulless Sam was better. So I am wondering if any of the people attached to the show are reading any of this.

Well soulless Sam did serve a purpose in keeping the show moving, but I think we all feel Sam has paid enough.
I hope the writes agree. I mean he could well go mad if the block breaks and he remembers everything. Maybe this will be a bargaining tool later down the line, but Crowley is gone, so who would pull strings?

Was anyone else yelling at their TV for Dean to just explain to Sam what happened? I think the least that he could have said was that a lot happened, Sam was in hell, it's good that he doesn't remember anything and that he should try not to think about it. If you have memory loss then of course you are going to try to remember something!

We agree to that...i don't think the writers do. I mean from the first episode that he gets his soul back they give him info about the past year.Cas,then Dean.I'm sure that they will play with the "firewall" in Sam's mind a lot.

Crowley is gone, so who would pull strings?

Now that the purgatory gate is open,Crowley can come back.But apart from him there are others that can use him.The angels,other demons,alphas,Samuel,just take your pick.

If they use that story line,i agree she will need some help to create a new breed of monsters.But on the other hand she has a human body now and she can propably doesn't need him.I bet a few "chosen ones" can do the job.Sam propably will be on the top of the list.

Maybe echidna is working with samuel, as mentioned for the next episode. I doubt samuel will still stop trying to get what he wanted and bring his wife back so maybe he is now trying this echidna (if they have such powers)

Samuel was working with crowley.Echidna might have the power to open the gates and free anyone in the purgatory.Perhaps not the power to bring someone back from the dead,but she can bring Crowley back.
So yes maybe he will follow her and assist her.Unless he has an artifact or a spell to control her.

In that case wouldnt that make echidna more powerful then crowley, if thats the case maybe she can bring back the women for samuel but perhaps in a different vessel? Sounds way out there i know but it would be different to what we have usually seen this season so seems plausible kind of

My guess is that in this episode they will either close thhe whole souless Sam thing or the wall in his brain will break.Either way i don't see that they are going to leave it alone.

She is much older than Crowley,thus she must be more powerfulI . I was thinking today how the Mother could have died and i had a wild thought.What if Lucifer didn't originally create Hell,but she did.So when he fell he kills her,sends her to Purgatory and inherits Hell.Now that she is back and with Lucifer out of the way she might claim back what is hers.

I know that is way out of any mythology we know,it's just a what if...
