did you notice that in one of the data fields that was supposed to accept a URL to an background image, they put in something like:

still testing'data2=

Perhaps it was a SQL injection attack? Maybe some string of characters (SQL commands?) followed the '=' sign? Not sure how that stuff works to be honest. They probably weren't sure if it would work, then freaked out when they realized it did. They didn't put anything in the profiles that suggests they were trying to be malicious. Perhaps just a some newbie hacker? If so, I would be surprised that nobody had done that before now, if that was a security flaw.

And maybe this has something to do with all the staff's avatar changes recently to musicians? Part of the ATS game?

To be quite honest I think the "Just Testing" thing is a big indicator of the intention of the hacker to scout for weaknesses (which he found by messing with everyone's Members profile) then launch an all-out attack at a later date.

I think that Birthdate should be scrutinised further.

Why would you leave over a hack that is not the fault of ATS? It happened to all of us, just relax.

This looks like a bulk update on the users' table via sql injection: i would take a look at the traffic logs.

I did change mine - just went to tools again - now I have a blank screen.

Let us see what comes up here -

For what it's worth I'm on a Mac and got no ads.

Also, earlier this site was not loading right. I went to read a thread and I was getting a blank screen. Also got a blank screen when trying to log in.

ETA - OK my pink and purple changes here 'took'. But I did that apx 10 mins ago and just lately got a blank tools page like others.

Keeping my paws off it all for now.

Don't give in to a little something like your avatar being changed.

I opened up my avatar picture in my album, copied the url below it then pasted it into my avatar url box in my settings. Click submit and you should be there.
