Because the exercises held every year are for international disaters and have participants from around the globe turn up for the training. Any S&R team wishing to take part in any disaster relief must attend several training exercises, including this one, to be certified to be included in the UK response.

Exercise Orion was actually an EU funded training exercise as part of a co-ordinated EU response to future disaster relief efforts.

The collusion of the intelligence services and paramilitaries of any kind is not as far fetched as you may imagine in terms of conducting operations against the innocent. They are not whiter than white and will indeed allow collateral damage, and factor in what they deem as acceptable losses into their operations, as does any military campaign..

Evidence of collusion in the past as proof is the activities of Force Research Units (FRU) in Northern Ireland.. During periods of extended attacks on the security forces, with police and soldiers being killed, they would target an innocent catholic with no ties to paramilitaries and kill them and blame it on protestants. Then they would kill an innocent protestant and blame the IRA, thus a spate of tit for tat killings would ensue thus taking the heat off the security forces.. They also guided the activities of some protestant paramilitaries and gave them weapons and intelligence alongside a shopping list of people to dissapear.. They played both sides like expert violinists.. A trully ruthless and remarkable organisation..

I'd put my money on a chemical weapon attack on public transport and in areas where public gather in large numbers in confined spaces, i.e., shopping malls.

This way TPTB can maintain a heighten level of fear in the public for pretty much as long as they wanted, it would keep people in their homes, the only people at risk would be the innocent population.

Chemical attacks are a good method, as it just leaves dead bodies and doesn't damage infrastructure, that can be cleaned and the bodies burned. You can target individuals, groups, etc., with the attacks and blame it on almost anyone else and it would present the opportunity for TPTB to blame whoever they like for the attacks, anyone from environmentalists to religious zealots, from disgruntled individuals to Al Qaeda.

They can launch an attack whenever they want, wherever they want. The degree of success or failure of an attack would be easy to control, attacks could be stopped by "armed vigilant officers" on a whim, with some poor sod with a backpack shot by armed officers and then evidence planted or blurred (Brazilian electricians beware!) or just plain ignored. This way attacks on TPTB can be "thwarted" at the "last second" so they appear to be as at much risk as the rest of us, but the attacks that succeed would be a tragedy and the state authorities do their best but can't stop every attack.

Imagine the response of the UK authorities and the reaction of the public. In an instant there would be calls for armed police, increase search and stop powers, authority to enter homes without warrants, extended periods of detention with charge, compulsory identity cards, restrictions on travel, restrictions on the rights of assembly for political reasons, further restrictions on the right to protest, habeas corpus would be finally torn to shreds, trial without juries would be extended, right of appeal dismissed, detention centres leading to detention camps, and possibly a reintroduction of the death penalty.

It would not take much to move what is already a Stasi like surveillance culture to move to a fully fledged authoritarian and vicious State, with a capital S! I believe the UK model would be used by TPTB to trial out the ideas on population control for a wider rollout across the EU and then into the USA and Canada. Any international protest would be smoothed over by pointing out if the "polite British" have to take such extreme measures to counter the terror threat why should their own populations worry so much.

What anyone could do about it to complain or protest would be irrelevant, any making too much noise would be decried by the media, or removed as a threat to the state, either by obvious means such as arrest or by devious means as slitting their wrists with a blunt knife while sitting up against a tree using their crippled hand and then moving their dead body after death unaided and not leaving any blood on the scene.

People used to tell me I was paranoid about things which are now commonplace. I think I was never paranoid, I was usually only joking and didn't think such things could ever happen. Now I am terrified, scared, and worried. It wouldn't surprise me if I accidentally beheaded myself while shaving, or was shot as a potential suspect for writing this sort of thing! I must have a death wish!

Britain becoming an authoritarian state? I'd say it already is! I live on an estate of no more than 200 homes and there are 12 (count them 12) CCTV cameras, you have to have ID for everything so the introduction of ID cards wouldn't be much different, there's talk of the governments being allowed into your bank accounts without warrant or reason! The police can stop and search anyone for no reason, the list goes on and on......

Id say we are one "attack" away from have a full on "V for Vendetta" type society.

but hey us Brits are a strong people, if anyone were to oppose a "New world order" it would be us.

What do you need ID for? I haven't had any cause to carry any form of ID around with me in London since I was 16 and had a photo card bus pass
The last time I had to produce ID was when I renewed my passport, I don't think that's unreasonable

To be honest, I think that because of my age. I'm only 22 so I get ID trying to buy everything from beer to super-glue .

I had the same problem when I was visiting my girlfriends family in America, I was 30 and they still asked me for ID to buy beer and cigarettes It was really odd

Maybe those in the power's that be in england are convinced of a coming earthquake,in the event of 2012 and the destruction predicted to happen in under 2 years across the globe,its just a though.

Talk? As in some people have read The Sun/Daily Mail, got the wrong end of a badly presented stick and now think it is gospel? There are no such plans, although the Police can (and have for many a year and in most nations globally) the right to request a Warrant to search your financial records if they suspect you of crime.

No they cannot. Section 44 stop and search powers have been ruled illegal by the European Court of Human Rights.

Thing is and I have said it before, most of the people bleeting about a "loss of rights" or "Police State" haven't actually got a clue about the law, which is exactly how the Police get away with this crap, because they too don't know the Law and are often acting illegally. Problem is, people are ignorant of the Law themselves and only bleet after the fact, while still not knowing the Law and then do nothing.

May I suggest you go find a Policeman and film him. He will probably try to claim you cannot do that. Tell him to quote to you Section 44 and Section 58 verbatim. I will bet you he cannot. Photography in a public place is lawful under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and phtography of Police is not prohibited by the Terrorism Act 2000 or 2008.

It only covers Military installations and persons (which, despite what they might think, does not cover Police - they are civilians)and only if "it is likely to be used in preparation of an act of terrorism", which must be proved in a court of law and most certainly does not give the Police the power to seize your camera and delete images, as they have been prone to do.

Well, the MODS can remove it, I just thought the Hightned Alert levels can be for the possible impacts of debri from the comets and Not terrorist attacks... Which they most likely will say IF it should happen..

With the advent of what I believe to be "earthquake machines" I think you may be right.

If a quake was to hit UN mainland, who on earth would blame anything or anyone other than nature itself.

If this happens, it will probably happen during the 2012 olympics. It all fits, 2012, a 'terrorist attack' on the citizens & officials of many countries who are in London during the games, which will in turn trigger WWIII, which will go nuclear straight away, thus ending the world or at least wiping out 99% of the human race. And of course, Islam will be blamed, WWIII will concentrate on wiping out Arab states until other, nuclear rogues like N.Korea & China chip in & have their say, then it'll be dog eat dog.

This is a lot more believable than a few young muslims being able to pull off 9/11...

When i have read the mentioned thread i was discussing it with a friend and he also agrees that a false flag in EU will be the next big subject on that TPTB/NWO matter. But also i argued that it could probably be a exercise for the coming increase in (Suns activity related- ) earthcakes and even meteorites, possible....
Have a look on spaceweather. I have never seen so mich potential hazardous meteors on there and i monitor the page since a few years now...

Surely there is something going on, but i would not think of a nuclear disaster in london region, as the zion-london- olympics-2012 will be a very important issue for tbtb.
Really, if there would be an imminent threat for britain in whatever case there would have been leaked something in june at the bilderberg meeting... They really seem to have alot trouble this year... (i am looking forward to 2011 meeting! Ha!)

I think they know something is going on, but it should not have to do with a major disaster. I could also be about a bank bail out or massive rioting because of a food shortage next year....

What me really disturbes about UK is that it became alot into the course like in the Vendetta movie...

Now, could the devils that be, be plotting another act of civil war on the people of the UK? Yes.

There could be a number of reasons for this, some that I can think of are:

The UK people just aren't sufficiently riled to start civil unrest, which is what they are aiming for, to provide an excuse for a crack down.

To divert attention from increasingly unpopular budget cuts.

To raise the level of fear in UK, so people accept more stripping of their civil and human rights, and more dismantling of UK sovreignty.

To wipe out some incriminating evidence of huge fraud or other crimes stored in a building somewhere.

To choose a target which would contribute to wrecking the economy (part of the plan)

To then blame it on Muslims.

To take the focus off the increasing and increasingly vociferous criticism of the Catholic Church paedophile disclosures.
