Exactly, with the OP rerpeatedly saying they are not going to accept any discussions about the here and now, or science or even common sense I don't see why this thread hasn't been moved to skunkworks or BTS.
Because until some actual evidence can be supplied to back up any of what is being said then this is nothing more than fantasy.

Am I going to be ready when disclosure comes? My question is: What am I supposed to do? Buy more guns? Go into survival mode and start building up stocks of Dinki Di? I don´t believe I´m all of a sudden going to start screaming in fear. I seriously doubt there is going to be some kind of grand human movement towards "oneness" or our vibration levels are suddenly going to jiggle a bit faster. I do expect more alien costumes to pop up around Halloween and new alien mixed drinks to pop up at the bar.

My bank is still going to want my loan payment. I´m still gong to be stuck in traffic. I´ll laugh when Jon Stewart makes some kind of hilarious alien paroday. I´m not going to quit my day job.

Sure there is going to be questions for the US Government about past coverups and what not. But you know they are just going to say this is a new phenomena, please forget about past conspiricy theories and lets go on from here. They will probably say that If the aliens were hostile, we would already be dead, so don´t worry.
And of course, you´ll also hear, "Please continue to spend and consume . Nothing really to see here...just an occasional saucer or two collecting parameciums and soil samples".

Well after reading all the posts , I just wanted to add that , aliens probably wouldnt even bother with us , since we cant actually settle our own differences , what chance have we got at being accepted into a galactic community .

The game mass effect perfectly relays this information , humans wouldnt be trusted by any other species in the milky way , because we lie cheat and kill for power , sure we have some nice qualities but we would be the worst species in the galaxy , and maybe thats why we arent openly discussing with other species in the galaxy.

Hi franspeakfree, don’t let that bother you too much because that saying is not only used for what you said.

The positive thing is that there is a growing group of people who are in the mean time convinced now that the UFO/UAP phenomenon is definitely a real and intelligent looking phenomenon, and not some figment of one's imagination anymore.
But so far they cannot accept in any way the claim that those UFOs/UAPs are being navigated by ETs or in some cases dare not come forward for certain for them important reasons to acknowledge that.

You are no doubt not the only one out there that feels the same way, but as you said yourself, that fear and ridicule factor scares others to much of to come forward with their experiences.

In answer to the OP , if an alien species decided it was time to show the ace , and they landed or beamed here and started having chats with us , then sure I'd be ready for that .

I've been playing video games with aliens in them since i was a little kid , Id love to have an alien friend who can tell me a whole new world of knowledge , music and art , culture , and insight into their own experiences.

Most of all i'd love it if we could actually travel to their homeworld , so that we could escape the evils of the earth and the sad individuals who seek to control others. I only say this in hope that this new species were benevolant and only desired to maintain life within the universe . I hope that they lived in utopia and allowed great freedom to their species and others to live life in harmony together.

Of course that would be dreaming , but you get what I mean , im quite ready for something drastic to happen , I havent even seen many things on earth that I want to , yet im quite willing to leave it all behind and go space faring with some weird looking alien who I cant understand without the help of a technological device .

My thoughts exactly. The notion of "getting ready" is meaningless. Unless it invloves maybe making a great big banner with "Welcome Aliens" written on it to wave from my rooftop. One of the joys of being a sentient being is the ability to be versatile and evolve with presenting circumstances. No meditation or "OBE" required - Aliens land, their existence is confirmed and life goes on, albeit in a totally different way.
We roll with the punches. Any one of us could develop cancer tomorrow, or lose a loved one, or any manner of horrible things, but that's life. Stop being so melodramatic. If it's a case of wanting something to look forward to then book a vacation.

What makes you think there is some galactic community living in peace?

I would like to think that I am ready and I would like to think that I have a poa. But somehow I have the feeling that when the day comes, I would probably pass out from shock, have a heart attack- or worse, # myself from fear.

Question is- If you do not know what the circumstances will be, how can you plan for it?

Assuming there is a war going on up there, how do you separate they good guys from the bad guys? What if you make all the wrong choices? Do we stay here? Will they take us? WHAT WILL THEY WANT? And how do you know you can trust them? I can go on with questions like this the whole day.

Point is- I don't know. I will have to suck it up and deal with it as it comes....

It's a pity that we have been made to be so distrustful of everything. Who knows, maybe it's a blessing...

firstly...LHC atoms colliding at 99.99% the speed of light!!! it will produce the highest amount of energy (microscopic) EVER recorded. in fact it has already broken the energy record. searching for new particles, forces and dimensions....FACT...its an experiment to see IF it is possible...to spend that much money ..they must believe its true.

If aliens actually did land on Earth, and an official contact was made between the human race and the race of an alien world, well that type of disclosure would affect all our lives, and the amount of change would be heavily dependent on the content of message we receive. On the other hand, if disclosure amounts to a mere aknowledgement from the government that aliens exist because "one of their mechanical probes were photographed by the ISS last December", that won´t have much of an effect on daily life at all in my opinion.

But you see, people will say that what you just said is all lies. It's the story that is fed to the sheeple, when in reality there are teams of people working behind closed doors sending people to and from galaxy to galaxy.
And even though they say this they can't provide anything at all to back up the nonsense they claim, hence why you are not allowed to bring any talk of science and fact into this thread.

Indeed. If it was simply a case of NASA or whoever acknowledging it as fact that intelligent extra-terrestrial life definitely exists, as in your scenario, personally, it would just confirm what seemed inevitable anyway, and make no difference to my life whatsoever. I suppose the other scenarios are that the aliens land on Earth en-masse, proclaim their existence to us in an unavoidable fashion, and then either:
(a) are lovely and friendly and we benefit massively in many ways (yeah!) or
(b) behave as humans do and conquer us to use our resources, probably enslaving us in the process.

Whichever scenario were to happen, I still think that "getting prepared" is a null and void concept. What will be will be. We will likely have no chance at all at defending ourselves if they are malevolent. Lets just hope that they're peace loving friendly types. Either way, in answer ro the OP's original question, "Are you ready for disclosure?", the answer is a simple, "yes".

how much Energy to produce Light ?

The reason I think there is a galactic community is , that if aliens are able to travel the vast distances of space , then they will have advanced technology , with advanced technology comes advanced intellect , comes advanced culture and society. Advanced civilisations wouldnt really be tribal /nomadic would they ? , they would have some sort of galactic community / alliance and trade at least.

Reflecting on that , what if the aliens are actually super advanced AI , in the form of humanoids , transhumanists from our ancient past who have already established advanced human colonies in the glaxay and beyond.We are simply their experiment to see if they can create an advanced biological machine with the use of the universal building blocks of life.

On the LHC , last time I read about the LHC and watched a documentary on it , it stated that the collider can in theory create minature black holes which would theoretically exist for pico seconds before collapsing under their own weight, as they wouldnt have the required mass to establish a stable black hole.

Furthermore they also said that they can make a laser travel so fast that it can create a loop then beam the laser through the loop controlled with strong magnetic fields that it creates a time travelling laser .
Cant remember much about this one though ( was same documentary) .

If we were to be controlled by aliens , then arent we already being controlled by aliens from different continents !

I have to agree with the OP on this one. If you think about it, the only way we know anything is through the media. Be it newspapers, TV shows or internet forums. Any medium you can think of is how we know anything that is going on. I've noticed an increase reporting of ET stories throughout the news. Scientist are increasingly reporting evidence of life on other planets. Evidence of other planets with Earth like properties also.

Now think about this. Since information comes from the media then it makes sense they use the media to soften us up. I'm convinced the media is in control of everything. Why? Because it's the perfect medium of information or disinformation. They feed a story then gage it's affect on us. I wouldn't even be surprise if they send out subliminal messages through TV. What's to stop them from doing that? It's not even illegal to do. It's immoral but not illegal.

I'm not one of the big brains who think they know everything there is to know about the universe. I don't even know what's around the corner at any given time of the day or night. What I do know is we're not alone in this Universe. If we are five billion years old then it makes sense there is someone six billion years old in this universe. And if they are a billion years older than us then they know stuff we don't.

So let's end with this. If you don't believe the OP then you believe we are alone in this universe. Also, if the universe is 15 billion years old, and we're the best it can do in 15 billion years, then the universe has to be newer than that. We went from primordial soup to astronauts in 5 billion years. So that means no life was created in the first 10 billion years?
