Why do wise men always speak in riddles?
Would plain speaking not serve them better?
Why are the students in these stories always so infuriatingly dumb?
Is there some great truth hidden here?
Am I missing something?

You are asking everyone else, perhaps you should ask yourself who it is that can fulfill your thirst.
thanks

An old wise man was speaking his truth to a class of students, yet his students were having a hard time understanding his message. He spoke so much that he became thirsty

His truth wasn't their truth?
Maybe instead of speaking his truth over and over again, maybe he could ask his students their perception of what his truth is?
Maybe a teacher who speaks with few words, but those words, allowing for expansion from his students, maybe the teacher wouldn't become so thirsty?
thanks

I know what quenches my thirst, water, I do not know the quantity till I reach it.
With Love,

I did not ask for directions to the river.
It is nice to appear wise is it not?
Why not just answer the questions?

I think he just didn't!
Thanks anyway.
P.S. Oh Seems ATS has at least a couple of Gandhi's! Anybody want to go on a salt march with me?

My friend, are you the student?
Originally posted by sweetlibertyDo you know how much water you will need to quench your thirst?
Originally posted by sweetlibertyMaybe you should drink in smaller quantities, slow down and allow the your thirst/need/craving to absorb the water we share with you
So you wish me to share some of my water?
Thank you for joining me in a drink my friend. I am still thirsty, are you?
