OK YOU asked the question not me. I hope that as this is a question posed I may answer it FREELY although on here that is debatable.

I will tell you why I dislike Americans.

Americans are quite possibly the dumbest group of people on the planet. Comprising 80% fat 20% propaganda the people of America or "Amerka" or "amurka" (as pronounced by most americans) are without doubt in my mind some of the most brainwashed and "sheeple" types known to man.

Americans whether they believe it or not have an undying love of Jews. They are the only thing standing in the way of the whole of the middle east and a few other nations pushing Israel into the sea once and for all. The people who run "amerka' believe that Israel is the centerpiece to warding of the holy biblical Rapture about to engulf the entire world.

"amurkans" in general are some of the most illiterate and uneducated people in the Western world and to compensate for this they parade around with guns and loud mouths hoping the threat of intimidation and vioces over-powering everyone else will blind other people to the fact they are fairly dim.

American people are generally gullible and will believe anything as long as you end the conversation with "god bless amerka". This classic phrase has been adopted by many a President when the polls show they are losing the public's confidence. (this lose in confidence, is normally around the time a new young blond pop start comes on the scene) There reliance on Plastic surgery (which is always an epic fail) and their need to consume vast quantities of food 8 times a day has me believing that there is a vicious circle of stupidity at hand.

"amurkans" are pure hypocrites of the highest order. They are up in arms when a country like China hits the news for mistreating its people, yet "amurkans" are quite ok with their govs treatment of EVERY species on Earth from "terror suspects" to "people who dislike their gov". They are in the top three producers of Polution in the world and they are forever interfering in world problems only making them WORSE. They have never solved one problem EVER. They are arrogant, selfish, big0headed and individually cowardly. Only "amurkans" can kill so many civilians world wide and still be so god damn ignorant about it.

"Amerkans" have no sense of right or wrong, just a sense of being told what to like and dislike by their gov. They are slowly devolving and still they preach religion like its a reality and hold onto their belief in guns and violence to solve problems. Their companies like Mcfattys, coca-cola, and disney have ruined the world and continue to grow.

"amerkans" have zero clue about love for their kids. Otherwise "amerkans" would not let their kids part take in the farce at school where they sell their souls to amurka via the pledge of ignorance.

These Amerkans are have sold their rights to the industrial masses and now believe that tv, radio, refrigeration and telephones are actually a GOD given right and powered by Jesus.

I will leave the amerkan Youth alone in this answer as they are largely not to blame when their role models are so Imperialistic.
To sum up, amurkans rape the environment, consume everything in mass quantities and run their mouths.

We interfere all the time. Of course we look out for our perceived best interests a lot of the time, why would we not do that?

Never mind the fact that America is a Huge country with a lot of people. We have our own issues that affect us more directly going on in our own country.
Sorry we don't have the time to cover some armed robbery in that took place in Latvia or the plight of some injustice going on in Turkey. Besides all it would do is make us wanna come over their and do something about it anyway....which would then upset people who said...Damn Americans coming over here to interfere.

eh....its not important why people in other countries don't like Americans, I personally think the world would be better off without the U.N. and everyone should just let the chips of their country fall where they may. Do away with all the trade agreements all the treaties and all of it. Just let it go the way of the dodo, why not? I mean after all if the point was to "bring us closer together" it sure as hell did not work did it all it did was breed familiarity which in turn breeds contempt.

These threads (the hate America) versions of, crop up monthly. The OP acknowledged it and yet still felt it "time for another"... It's one of those "fall-back themes" that writers without original thought author when they cannot think of a topic to throw up on the boards. This one will die out soon enough and then look for another in a few weeks. They are Like clockwork.

Dont you think it is strange that we have no sense of right and wrong and yet things like Disney and Coca Cola can spread throughout the rest of the world? I wonder does this mean that the other people in other places are doing just as their told as well by actively purchasing the product?

That is why I dislike amerkans. I answered the QUESTION.

I am from the US but lived in foreign countries over the last 15 years, so I have seen it all--good, bad and indifferent. Personally, the best country I ever saw was Denmark, which is a nice, middle class social democracy without the ghettos and huge disbtinctions between rich and poor that we have in the US.

I am the first to agree that the common people in the US are lied to an manipated by the political and economic elites all the time. They are being ripped off every time they buy anything, with shameless scammers all over the place. We have been lied to about the assassinations of the 1960s, for example, blatantly so. We have been lied to about UFOs, about the role of the CIA in overthrowing governments all over the world, about pardoning thousands of Nazi war criminals and bringing them to work in the US after 1945.

I could go on and on about these lies and coverups, which the major media do nothing about. No one even reported it when the men actually involved in the JFK assassination publicly admitted it. Nothing happened. Par for the course. Nothing really changes, nothing is ever done, the same old gang is still tunning the show.

In the US, we have some of the most despicable, corrupt politicians in the world, who shill for big business interests and the wealthy while pretending to be "populists", and always using racism and religion to manipulate the voters. Nixon, Reagan, the Bushes, Gingrich, Palin, all of them do that. Not that the Dems are any real alternative, since they are wimpy and corrupt as well.


If we ever had a democracy in the US, we lost it a long time ago. I think it was already pretty much lost in the early-20th Century when the big corporations and Wall Street banks pretty much took over. People tried to fight that and they lost. It was certainly over by 1945, with the rise of the national secirity state and the military-industrial comples--the world of Robert McNamara, J. Edgar Hoover, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney, evil and sinister figures all. People tried to fight that, too, and lost.


So here we are. Now we have an elitist president who wants to put in some reforms but he should never be confused with a radical or a populist. Far from it. And the only other alternative to him is a party of Neanderthals who appeal to the very worst side on the country constantly. It's not a pretty picture, and maybe it will take revolution and civil war to finally change it. Just let the whole thing fall apart then start over again and write a new constitution.

I don't watch that garbage. The only show I liked was the new Battlestar Galactica. I'm 'here', in the U.S., which is still a stupidly vague statement considering the fact that there are 50 states, some of which are larger than most countries, and 48 of those being in the contiguous, north-american region the OP is referring to. I'm sorry to the poor bloke subjected to gangsta rap and dukes of hazzard. Now you know how I feel.

The biggest reason I can think of would be the Cultural Empire that America has over the whole world. Our TV's are flooded with American TV shows, our language is being flooded with American spelling and euphemisms. Our cinema's are flooded with American movies, our stores are flooded with American products. Fast food is all American. You've spread the cancer of political correctness to the entire world. Finally you have meddled in other nations affairs which did not concern you and have helped spread war, terror, Marxism and global instability. You have also laid down the road for the next world war to be the most horrendous war ever to beseech mankind, and I do believe that this quote expresses clearly that view.

War is inevitable, and this time, it will be truly world wide. It will unravel everywhere and there will be no limit to its battlefields. The condemnations of Nuremberg will be one of the main reasons, which will cause this war to be a conflict whose horror will be unparalleled. These condemnations gave birth, in fact, to a new conception which makes the victor a hero and the vanquished an odious criminal. By this fact, each leader will wage war like a demon in order not to be the loser and become, consequently, a criminal. I'd like to contribute my feelings regarding Amerikans... although hate is a bit strong. "Disagree" is too soft. "Despise"... again to strong. Perhaps, "have contempt for..." would agree with me.

Next is the term, "Americans." Now, for a better understanding, I'm certain you're not referring to the Brazilian Americans, nor the Costa Rican Americans, but the USA Americans. ...and while there are a great diversity of cultures, laws, economics amongst the 49 states in North America (Hawaii isn't in N. America though- so they're not Americans in any way other than fiction), I can see some common traits I have contempt for.

These generally common traits to which I have contempt for are:

Duplicity: The success of people to hold two opposing and contradictory statements as both fact. Ex: Nazis are terrible because they kill, torture and enslave... so, let's raise an army to kill, torture and enslave them...

Lethargy: I believe these people are industrious folks in general, the lethargy I note is primarily an intellectual sense. Ex: See "Jay Walking" for particular incidents ;-)

Nostalgic: These people shed tears and parade up and down streets built by their predecessors, raise banners and belt out songs with pride. They wear costumes of the Old West and go dancing. Make a statement like, "America ain't perfect, but it's still the best place in the world." Their heads in a nostalgia, pride erected upon generations past, they've paid no attention to their current and immediate surrounding. Little vision towards the future having already lived the heights of their time.

Effeminate: Males throughout Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, S. Africa, Kosovo, Bosnia, Georgia etc have held public displays of testosterone. Their aggression and assertiveness (irrespective of one's stance on econ/poly) is plain to see. The USA Amerikans have their docile Tea Parties, chastise members who may be "wild", and seem more like Ned Flanders when they get upset (Ex: look out the window in the bankrupt, enslaved, and docile USA... worst you'll see is some grumpy old man wearing an USS on his hat).

Lots of reasons, but those are my main points of contempt for the USAians.

As a Brit I certainly don't hate Americans. Most of my favourite tv shows are American. Most of my favourite performers, actors etc are American. America's a great place to go on holiday. And I love Reece's peanut butter chocolate.

But if you want to know what the general perception of Americans over here is, I'll tell you. Now I'm not saying I agree with this, although some of it is patently true, I know you can't tar an entire nation with tyeh same brush.

That said...

I think the thing that gets up Brits' noses is the whole "God bless the U.S. of A" thing. Brits are a lot more reserved and cynical, and it would never be seen as "anti-UK" to speak out against the war. Whereas a lot of Americans do feel they're being anti-American if they dare to question TPTB. That makes no sense to us. Blind patriotism seems ridiculous to most Brits.

There's also the gun thing. The right to bear arms. What a terrifying thought, that if I lived in the US my neighbour could have a gun beneath his bed. It's a totally alien thing in the UK. Most people have never seen a gun in their lives here, except for maybe armed police at airports, and even that's a shocking sight.

And then there's the fat thing. The US reeks of greed and rampant consumerism, and the lard-assity iof the American people just seems like a microcosm of that culture.

And then there's the warmongering. Just seems to us over here that the US of A just isn't happy unless it's blowing stuff up. And because of this "special relationship" we usually come along for the ride.

I'm sure someone will trot out the old "Yeah but we saved your limey asses in the war" chestnut.

Anyway, you asked. That's the negative perception of the US people over here. Greedy, warmongering, fat, violent and arrogant.

I do not hate ALL Amercians...just the big brash loud mouths who can not think any further than their own borders. The ones who do not know anything about any other country in the world...the ones who know very little about their own country. The one who brag about how good the USA is. As an American who has lived overseas, I think that most people who 'hate' Americans because it is an easy scapegoat and enemy. And, in general, the most anti-american sentiments i have encountered in foreign countries come from people who have never been to the US, or have very, very limited experience with any Americans.

The scapegoating of American citizens will be a great way for the Corporate powers birthed here to shift the blame away from themselves.

I'm an American and I wish there was another name for our nationality because it refers that we're better than the others in the Americas. I don't hate Americans as a whole, you can't deal in absolutes, that's wrong. That being aside, it's not that I hate Americans, I hate certain parts of the culture and what it represents morally and ethically. from what I've experienced the majority of Americans simply buy into the status quo and what the corporate american society tells them to follow. The major record companies have hijacked the art of music and completely destroyed it. The majority of Americans get their corporate jobs and have their Guido Show on MTV and all these other fake reality shows, they read people magazine and choose a political party and allow people to tell them what to believe. They're apathetic and don't want to think for themselves. This type of thinking eventually becomes selfish and self centered. They are very hypocritical and allow corporate media to control their perspectives.

I don't want to raise my children in a society that claims to be the highest in life expectancy and life quality, but we have the lowest sense of humanness and morality. We take things out of wack and criticize people when we're equally as bad. We don't only need a revolution but also a cultural renaissance at the same time to occur if our country is going to continue.
