The only way she will lose in november is for her opponent to run on a pro masturabtion platform. Thats the ticket!

Why is this such a massive deal? A person's political beliefs change over the course of their life time. How many of you didnt vote Republican after Bush?

It's a simple enough concept. That was 20 years ago, I'm sure you guys can relate to that.

Let's see here, it's OK to "race bait," it's OK to "hate bait," it's just not OK to "masturbate."

Yeah it's hilarious. For someone who is so outspoken against masturbation, she sure seems to enjoy jacking off the american voter into believing that she actually stands for morality. This woman, like the rest of the tea party, is the biggest joke since "Knock- Knock, Who's There?"

I don't think I said that they suck. What I said is that they are a joke.

I think Bill Maher said it right when he said that for the republicans, the tea party is like the girlfriend they have been having sex with in private but refuse to date in public.

You should have been here for the past few weeks. O'Donnell said the Republican party had turned canibalistic and she's right. Castle played dirty. O'Donnell kept it clean. Castle was the darling of the party. O'Donnell was the choice of the people. He was NASTY .... downright awful ... and he's acting childish now that she won.

O'Donnell did not keep it clean. She insinuated he was a closet homosexual and told him to "put his man pants on". She's a loon, and I'm an evangelical christian. She thinks you can "cure" gays and her opinions pretty much haven't changed over the years. I don't like her because she's a hypocrite, a liar, all of which can be proven and is being proven by her past staff and aquaintances. What most of you can't seem to get is that
these people yell and scream about big government, but they want to legislate morality. I'm pro-life, but they, including her, want to make it illegal to get an abortion even in cases of rape and incest. In other words, they want government out of healthcare but up their their collective ears in womens reproductive rights. Really, really, really hypocritical.

Oh, and she also claims that science is bad because, and I quote, "scientists have created mice with fully functioning human brains".

I agree actually. However using the "speaking in tongues" line really only applies to a very very very small group of people. Just FYI.

It is an insult to you intelligence to say something like that.

Yes, but Sarah Palin is Assembly of God, and they DO speak in tongues, I was one of them for 16 years.
(Not that I'm not a christian now, just non-denominational) What I'm wondering is if asked about it if Palin would
admit it, or would she deny the Holy Spririt, as it were.

I will give you that, sort of. As soon as I heard the name of yet another Republican rich person with years in politics being favored by the Tea Party, I thought to myself 'I wonder if she is also going to turn out to be a theocrat with a history of saying crazy things.'
You are right, I did make a judgment call before I knew anything about her. I did not decide what she was but I was more than prepared to hear another "Christian" say something wacky. Maybe it is wrong to assume these kinds of things. I could be way off, eventually.

What is that Carl Paladino? You are pro-life and want to put the poor in prison camps?

Let's hope next time I will be wrong.

She's not rich, just wants to be. She hasn't had a job in years, got her home forclosed, her bf bought it. She also lied about her college education and hasn't paid taxes for a handfull of years. She lives off of her campaign contribuitions. But she a Christian, so that's okay.

No, that would be Faux News you're thinking of, I've yet to catch MSNBC in a lie. Faux News on the other hand doesn't even try to hide it.

About two months ago I was talking to my friend about how puritanical Americans are about sex. (Both of us are Americans.) I mentioned to him about how some Americans are always trying to get teenagers to avoid sex. I told him "It's hopeless! Because they got hormones!" He told me an interesting story.

He said that he knew a woman who was in a girl's reform school when she was in her mid teens. She told him that when they were served hot dogs in the cafeteria they were always cut up into pieces no longer than one inch in length. Naive as I am, I asked "Why?" He replied "Because the girls were taking them back to their rooms." It probably took me another 20 seconds to figure out what he was really talking about.

So the anti-masturbation crowd is already active in the United States. And it does prove how wacky these puritanical Christians really are. They would gladly enforce all of their rules on everyone, not just prisoners, if they could get away with it.

In what capacity do YOU believe she will attempt or is contemplating legislation based on her moral belief regarding masturbation?

Regarding Christine O'Donnel, the subject of masturbation is just a warning sign. It's just the tip of the iceberg. If she has such wacky ideas about masturbation as a result of being a fundamentalist/puritanical Christian, she no doubt has many other ideas of the same caliber. As a result, as a fundamentalist/puritanical Christian she brings a certain agenda to any political office she will occupy. And if she believed it 20 years ago, she probably still believes it. She simply learned to not talk about it publicly due to possible negative repercussions at the voting booth.

George Bush Jr got into office as a quasi fundamentalist/puritanical Christian. Before he got into office, people said "Don't worry. He isn't going to change anything." Then once in office he steadfastly set about scaling back the abortion rights for women. He also made it legal for the federal government to donate money to Christian organizations, something that was preciously banned as a result of the separation of religion and government.

So these fundamentalist/puritanical Christian wackos do change the laws in favor of their religion when they get into office. It's a known fact. That is why any American who is interested in preserving their civil rights needs to be concerned about someone like Christine O'Donnell.

Stephen Colbert had something to say about this issue that was quite enlightening, check it out here; www.colbertnation.com...

I don't think anyone could have expressed it better.
