Who says Muslims don't care about both? I know I would if I were of the Islamic faith. To say that Muslims don't care if their most precious symbol is destroyed out of pure contempt is plain ignorant.

I thought we denied ignorance on this site?

So when our troops are being shot at by dozens of AQ or Iranian backed terrorist inside Iraq that the Iraqis do not want in their country its not good to bomb them?

I think your judgment is clouded by Arab cry babies and propaganda. You must have forgot the everyday Iraqis wanted our help and they know we only bomb what we have too.

I say let more bombs fly rather than to have my neighbors kid get killed because they wanted to save a stupid building that was occupied by terrorist only.

Naaaaaaaaah ... they've been pissed off ever since their cult was invented. They have never needed an excuse for getting upset. Islamic Terror Through the Centuries . Islamic terrorism isn't new. The War in Iraq isn't the reason it's around. Nor the war in Afghanistan.

So yes, they DO get upset when that stupid book of theirs is burned.
I don't think they are happy unless they ARE upset by something.
It's in the nature of their cult. Gotta' have an enemy ..even an invented one.

I have seen some propaganda in my life but this muzzle flash, you win the blue ribbon!! To try and sell this as American vs. Islam is more than ridiculous. So you actually believe they are burning our flag, screaming "death to the Infidels" "death to the West" because we invaded there country and are on some murderous spree with our American soldiers? Here is what I know about Islam and the Quran.

Islam is not just a religion, it is intertwined into the political culture in Muslim lead countries. It is the reason the Shiites and Sunni's are fighting and why there will never be peace in the Middle East.
They have fought these wars for over 2,000 years. While they claim to be fighting for Islam they are fighting for power.

Now take a look at the Quran and tell me Muslims do not CARE about this.

Muslims believe the Qur’an to be the verbal book of divine guidance and direction for mankind. Muslims also consider the original Arabic verbal text to be the final revelation of God.

Muslims regard the Qur’an as the main miracle of Muhammad, as proof of his prophethood,[11] and as the culmination of a series of divine messages

More that Muslims DON'T care about:

Most Muslims treat paper copies of the Qur’an with veneration, ritually washing before reading the Qur’an.[111] Worn out, torn, or errant (for example, pages out of order) Qur’ans are not discarded as wastepaper, but rather are left free to flow in a river, kept somewhere safe, burned, or buried in a remote location.

Based on tradition and a literal interpretation of sura 56:77–79: "That this is indeed a Qur’an Most Honourable, In a Book well-guarded, Which none shall touch but those who are clean.", many scholars opine that a Muslim perform wudu (ablution or a ritual cleansing with water) before touching a copy of the Qur’an, or mus'haf. This view has been contended by other scholars on the fact that, according to Arabic linguistic rules, this verse alludes to a fact and does not comprise an order.

Now please look carefully at this last paragraph, it says exactly how they feel about the Quran.

Qur'an desecration means mishandling the Qur’an by defiling or dismembering it. Muslims believe they should always treat the book with reverence, and are forbidden, for instance, to pulp, recycle, or simply discard worn-out copies of the text. Respect for the written text of the Qur’an is an important element of religious faith by many Muslims. They believe that intentionally insulting the Qur’an is a form of blasphemy.

link: en.wikipedia.org...

Should we burn the Quran absolutely NOT! That said I do not hold the faith of Islam as my own. We should not blasphemy anyone's beliefs ever. It's simply called respect.

This pastor is wrong in what he is doing. All this has done is fan the flames. It most definitely would put our troops in harms way and I appreciate everything our men and women have done for me and my country!!

You have taken a relative action and spun it to promote "America hates Muslims" or We bombed innocents, so no wonder they are pissed at us! Why? What is the point of this thread?

Thank you man behind the mask for conveying the truth backed up with fact! You too Slayer, for just being you!

PROPAGANDA ALERT!!
Many of them have been pissed since way before anyone ever started bombing any country, so this thread is misleading and inaccurate.

BTW, what about the atrocities commited by Muslims?

Star for your post.

I did not condone this war. I did not condone the last several wars.

I was not fooled by 911 and the deliberate lies of Iraq's WMD.

Most people are kind, decent and peaceful, it is the elite few who are running the show that are manipulating people into war with fear.

The American People are being held hostage by the bankers, oil, pharma, chemical and other large corporations who profit handsomely with keeping the war machine running.

They, the people really running the world, bath in blood money.

I want no part of this or any war................I am sick of war and fear and hate.

If more people do not wake up very fast and get off their knees our entire species could end up in big trouble.

Cannot shake the feeling that mankind is like a two year old that has been given a blow torch and that torch is about ready to be turned on.

Kind of how you are acting right about now? I love how people continually lump military / law enforcement into the "all is eveil" category. Since I disagre with you I guess I am the enemy to right? Or based on your statement, you would be the enemy for not agreeing with us and our viewpoint? Do me a favor and please tone down the drama, as it does nothing but cause division. Having a differeing opinion is fine when argued logically and supported by fact. Absent that and we are no better than extremeists, in a divide and conquer setting where the rule of sharia law rains supreme.

The issues with Islam began well before our country was even established. During the early years of our country it continued with attacks on our shipping in the med. We sent an envoy in an attempt to make peace, at which point we were told peace was not possible because of the whole not being muslim issue (which is where the lines for the Marine Corp Hymn came from).

It is the stated goal of extremists muslims to establish the faith everywhere they can, to the bitter end if neccesary.

While I respect your opinions and freedom of speech, I take exception to people continually cherry picking issues for political reasons. I also find it intresting that while people cherry pick our side, they continually ignore what the extremists of Islam do to their own people. Where is the outrage there?

We can pull all of our troops home, close all overseas bases, and limit our military to just defense of US territory and nothing more. When we do that, they win. Without someone, anyone, standing up and saying no more, we are doomed to repeat history.

I point out the last time we remained "neutral" most of Europe and Asia were singing the anthems for Japan, Italy and Germany.

I also urge people to think about the enviornment our troops are in, where every person they come in contact with might be there to kill them. The enemy does not use a uniform, nor do they subscribe to the geneva convention or the rules of warfare. They routinely target civilians for no other reason than to prevent cooperation with the "infadels".

Monday morning quarterbacking our troops is dangerous, and does nothing but show the level of ignorance some people have when it comes to operations and totality of circumstances.

Appeasement does not work with these groups...
Negotiation does not work with these groups...
Understanding does not work with these groups...

At what point do we draw a line in the sand? As stated before, we can remove all troops from our bases throught the world, close up our borders, develop a pacifist doctrine and whatch what happens. By the time it comes to our shores in force, we very well may be the last country standing.

Where does it stop?

So because killing is bad, we should go kill them?
But I thought killing was bad?

How does killing people make things right?

I am kind of amazed at the level of double-think that many people are displaying here.

They are murderers! Let's go murder them!

So absurd. Killing is bad, mkay.

You can't claim self defense when killing someone in THEIR NATION halfway around the world!

I guess that's why war still happens. It's a cycle. People justify doing it to each other. The cycle continues. Both sides love the bloodbath.

It's all just revenge killing at this point. Get you back for what happened! Revenge!

We are suppose to be better than the religious fanatics! Not JUST like them. Holy crapola!

Are we going to act like wild animals, listen to that voice? Let's not. Then all their plans will just fall flat.

I thought about it like this.

What if they are in my country doing this? What if it was the Russians or Chinese doing this bombing houses in the USA???

Well, I'd be trying to kill them too!

I don't want any Chinese or Russian soldiers marching down the streets of USA.

Why would anyone want US troops marching down their streets bombing out their buildings??

I can't believe people can't see this.

What environment are we in? Someone else's land.

Excellent post. Great point. This was my first guess (photos below)...which would make them a lot like the rest of the world. They don't want to see any more innocent men women and children bombed off the face of the earth or loved ones losing their limbs to explosives. Is this so hard to understand? Americans have the idea we are rushing in like the cavalry at the last minute and rescuing women and children from torture and oppression, releasing captives from lives spent in cages.
Instead, it seems we are disrupting what little peace there is, making critical errors, huge mistakes and many enemies.

If you did not want your neighbor to be killed by a terrorist, you would ask the US to bomb you and your neighbor in order to stop them from being killed by someone else?

If the everyday Iraqis wanted and are so grateful for our help, why are we discussing them burning US flags instead of writing us thank you notes?

The video clips show that's why they call it war. Please show me any war where there were no civilian casualties. Generally speaking, war is ended when the civilians on one side have had enough. this is how WWI ended, and also WWII in most theatres of operation. The military is usually willing to fight on, but as October 1918 proved in Germany, it's difficult to fight the enemy and your own population at the same time.
As they say in the West Bank, if you don't want your house destroyed, don't harbor terrorists.

Starred.

Three buildings went down, two were "hit by planes"..............the third was rigged with explosives.

They were all rigged with explosives and the Bush Administration (IMO) knew and probably arranged this.

The four videos below are quite interesting.

Dr. Alan Sabrosky, former director of studies at the US Army War College says that the military brass now know that Israel and those traitors within our nation committed the 911 attack

Wait a minute.

According to what you just said, than "since war is war", and it's all justified, than you support the Palestinians bombing Israel?

I don't. I think Israel and Palestine should stop fighting. But that's just me. I hate watching them get hurt for nothing.

It's a two way street. War is.

If Israel doesn't want to get bombed by Muslims, they shouldn't harbor terrorists.
And if Palestine doesn't want to get bombed by Israelis, they shouldn't harbor terrorists.

This is some really backwards logic here. Sad that you don't get it.

So when we kill them, it's War is War!
But when they kill us, it's They are Evil Terrorists!

No way man. When both sides dies, who cares right? War is War yo!

No one has a right to complain or cry about it. War is war thats what it's all about right?

Neither side is a terrorist, they are just "combatants".

You can't say IEDs and human shields are unfair! They don't have anti-aircraft weapons and yet we air strike them. Both sides use unfair tactics. War is war, people die who cares right? All is fair in love and war ain't it??

This death worship stuff has gotta come to and end. It's getting really sick how people justify it. And yes, it is worshiping Death.

Then perhaps the muslims should stop blowing up children, stealing planes and flying them into buildings full of civilians, chopping the heads off of Jews, stoning women to death, and threatening those who don't convert to islam with death. They get what they deserve. Hopefully someday, we'll get a president who will take the gloves off.
